We decided to go on a last minute overnight trip & came across this hotel. On our way their I decided to start reading more of the reviews and kept noticing people mention nurses coming by or staying here post surgery. I then realized this was attached to Oschners. Dont know how I missed that but oh well. We ordered pizza from a place included in the room guide & it was amazing!! For breakfast we went to the cafe downstairs which is where you can definitely tell it's a hospital. Lol!! Everyone was in scrubs & my kids started asking why. Lol!! Food was good & there was a PJs coffee spot next to the cafe. They made the absolute best Matcha Latté. The pool was nice & their were cabanas you could hang out by. & they have a really pretty sitting area that had water fountains where you could drink your coffee or eat breakfast. That morning an awful storm came through and we called the front desk to see if we could wait til it passed to check out since most of the things we wanted to do were outdoors & they were super accommodating. Only downside I can think of is the parking is pretty far from where the rooms are and we couldn't find a luggage trolley to wheel our stuff in. And the layout is kind of confusing but other than that it was a nice place to stay for a quick trip.

Hotel is on hospital campus. Attached parking garage was free and relatively easy to access. Check-in went smoothly and the furnishings and space were adequate. There were three issues that would prevent me from returning: very limited channels on the tv to watch, the room was too warm when we went to bed and adjusting the thermostat had no effect, and the housekeeping staff knocked on our door at 8am on a Saturday morning to clean the room.

This property was very clean and well kept. It was helpful for visiting a family member at Oschners.

Room needed remodeling no refrigerator,lamp own stand didn’t work and air conditioner didn’t get cold.Hotel would be a lot cleaner with no carpet.

Embedded within a hospital. Cafeteria, convenience store, coffee shop all on site. Very large pool. Clean rooms.

Once you get over that it's connected to a hospital, it's a nice safe place.

This isbour go-to hotel for NOLA. Away from the crowds and close to our daughters college. Really nice pool and patio area. Unfortunately, during this visit it was closed as they were doing to refurbishing of the patio. Really quiet place to stay and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The inside lobby was beautiful and the gym,pool, and laundry room are very convenient.

The shower handle needs to be replaced it’s old and hard to operate the cold/hot water. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The dresser drawers need to be cleaned out they are filthy.

Nice hotel, but a bit odd being in a common place with a hospital. Still the rooms were nice and clean.

We went for an early doctor's appointment. It is medicinal upon check-in but after that it is a very nice hotel. Good stay

The room was spacious. The bathroom could stand to be upgraded.. The carpet needs replacing it was soled and dusty. My husband who suffers with asthma had some difficulty with respiratory issues during our stay..

My first gripe is that the GPS location is horrible. The signage is obscure and not visible enough to a person driving and trying to find the actual hotel. Skipping to the room itself, the only shortcoming is the wait for the water to get hot. Now backing up, the front desk was very helpful. And the room was very clean and comfy. Even with the extra furnishings, it wasn't cramped.

This was a great place to stay.

Once I got passed the fact that my hotel was INSIDE a hospital, it was fine. I didn't realize that "next door" meant connected to a hospital, and this really threw me for a loop. The entire vibe of the place is like a hospital despite being on the hotel property part. Was only there 1 night, slept like a rock. Super quiet room, low water pressure, nice receptionist. The first room they gave me was actually already occupied with someone else. My card key worked when I got upstairs, but the deadbolt to the door was locked from the inside so this was an odd start. New room was great. I didn't go in the pool but I walked outside and the area was nice.

Great safe quiet place to stay.

I have stayed at the Brent House numerous times. This is the first time that the carpet was filthy, obviously had not been vacuumed in quite some time, and the room was shabby. They have nice rooms available, but this was not one of them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and there was no soundproofing because we could hear everything that was being said from the adjoining room. Just so disappointing because we were tired and it was late when we got there.

They gave me a room on the first floor. I asked for another one but they said they only had king beds in the other ones are not have to wait a long time to get to coins. I do not like the first floor the rooms are smaller and they seem dirty here in old
