Hotel was very good, we had an issue at first as i booked the room on Hotel.com, when we got there they gave us the room but it wasn't the room i booked. They said that was the room Hotels.com booked us, we showed the confirmation and the room type, so they were able to accommodate, but told us Hotel.com booked the smaller room So once that was fixed it was very good, close to many restaurants, the subway to go to Washington DC and had a very good breakfast. Hotel was very clean and safe, and staff very friendly.

We were upgraded. First room Was not nice at all. Second room Much better. Good value for money for sure especially for families and great breakfast!

Old hotel and they need to renovate their carpet throughout the building. Also they need to upgrade pillows, beddings, towels. Front desk were all nice, thats the only plus side to this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the Clarion Arlington! The free breakfast was a great perk. Location is unbeatable!

I was really pleased with this hotel! It’s such a great value compared to other options in the DMV area. The hotel was clean and the staff were always so friendly and helpful!

Overall I was pleased with the cost and the room amenities. Enjoyed the room having a bed with sofa and sitting area (t.v. was a little small for the room size), nice small 2 sitting table in kitchen area with 2 burner stove/microwave/dishwasher/fridge - and did have basic kitchen utensils to cook. Nice big area by closet and room door. Bathroom was adequately sized with bath tub/toilet separate from sink area and good size area to change by the sink. The location was pretty ideal as about 8 min walk to the metro station that would easily take you to all tourist attractions. The room may have looked a bit outdated but seemed to fit the area. My issues was the 2nd night there the cable/internet was out for atleast 24 hrs. Needing internet is pretty essential with traveling with a child or atleast t.v. with a show to keep a child occupied in the evening after a day of activities. Front desk person was rude about it. My expereience with staff member upon arrival was great; I arrived early and was able to check in early - which was great having my daughter with me. However, the staff on other days were a little less 'friendly'. Upon checking out early in the a.m. on my last day the person was very short and didn't seem to want to be bothered with me. The security person was leaned up against the counter propped up on his hand basically asleep - if you are going have security then they should atleast look like they are there to help.

First night rooms air conditioner didn't work but they switch us to another room in the middle of night. 2nd room the bedroom tv didn't work. However staff were great, rooms just need some updating. But would stay there again because staff did try to accommodate us.

It’s a good deal for the price and location. Expedia showed it includes parking but the front needed me to pay $15 a day. I want to make it clear.

Great location with generous space in the suite. Parking fees are truly very fair at $15 per day. Only comment is to repaint walls with satin or eggshell. Flat paint can’t be cleaned leaving stains. However, we would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel has a kitchen stove inside the room and this is a big plus for a family trip with kids. Breakfast is also included and the food quality is decent. The hotel is 12 minutes walk from the court house metro station if you have kids. There is a small section of the uphill walk. Another good thing about this hotel is that they provide you with ceramic bowls and plates, which are good for the environments. A couple of negative things: the room is not cleaned daily. The AC is very loud and the facilities appears to be old and the wifi connection is weak.

Too much noise in the lobby from 1am to 4 am. Management didn’t even care about this

We had real bad experience during our stay.We didn’t get room service done despite multiple request. Front desk staff behavior was not welcoming.There was a fire alarm at night 2:30 ,staff was not cooperative during that time.Overall very uncomfortable experience, we would not prefer this hotel next time.

I picked this hotel because it's close to where my boyfriend is working plus this was a birthday stay. It was way bigger than I thought. They accommodated all my request. The room had a dusty smell. It went away once I turned on the a/c. I didn't make it to the 8th floor for breakfast. The reviews was not lying about housekeeping coming early. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Housekeeping came at 8:30 in the morning!!! Most hotels dp not send housekeeping on a room that's booked for a night. This one does. It needs some updating but it was super clean.

Excellent

The area was safe and walkable to the Metro station. Several great restaurants in the area too (check out Courthaus Social excellent food and drinks). The hotel itself needs a little refurbishment but it was decently clean and the breakfast was better than typical hotel breakfasts. Would stay again because the parking and the hotel rates were affordable for the area.

Large suite with quiet air condition

The room was large and comfortable.

Close to metro station. Easy check in. Very quiet during our 5 day stay. Kitchen worked well. It was nice to come back and make dinner without having to go back out to a restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are huge but dated. I felt safe and got good sleep. Walkable area with most everything you need within a mile.

I paid a lot for thos room. It was clean but extremely outdated and cheap looking furnishings. My husband had some blue plastic in his potatoes at breakfast. The manager compensated by covering the parking for two nights($30.00). I wont stay here again, not a good choice.

The property was a little tired and could stand a refresh, But overall was comfortable and adequate. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room--with a view, on the 8th floor--was very nice. The suites with kitchens are large and comfortable. Within a few blocks and a 10 minute walk of Court House Metro, which was convenient. Also near US 50, which was handy.

We did a week long trip to DC and this was a great place to stay. The best perk is that it was nearby a metro station and that's how we got around the city. The breakfast was nice—they had hot breakfast options every day. The room was clean. The bed was good. Our room even came with a kitchenette. I saw some complaints that this hotel was outdated, but I've been in far worse hotels, and we thought this one was perfectly fine.

We were told expressly that we would not be charged for leaving a night early, but after we had made arrangements to leave early and packed everything up, the hotel said they would charge the last night cost anyway. After I complained they seemed to arbitrarily charge a $40 early leaving fee. Very disappointing that the hotel doesn’t honor what they say.

The receptionist was not pleasant and not helpful during the check in. The room was dusty and smelt like wet carpet and the furniture was probably left closed for months and we could not use the furniture for our long stay. One night we heard 5 gun shoot at 2:45am and saw a men running away with a car and next day we saw several police cars and 2 police officers at the breakfast, we felt that the area was questionable. The sink was blocked and running of soaps.

The hotel was dated, but it was very clean. The included breakfast was good and had a great variety. It was very close to the metro. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
