Overnight stay for a wedding locally - great location and friendly staff

This is a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. It was very calming and spa/pool made it even more relaxing.

The hotel is really dated and needs a revamp. We had to move rooms as the extractor fans from the restaurant came up outside our window and left a horrible noise and smell. Our shower also flooded the whole bathroom. My breakfast also had a hair in the full English’s

A great hotel to stay at for a solo traveller. I felt safe and enjoyed my time at the hotel. The food was good but there were limited vegetarian options. The continental breakfast available was ok but a wider selection of evening meals on the menu would be preferred. The gym was a great amenity with good quality equipment. Staff were friendly and helpful. The carpet in my bedroom didn’t feel as clean as I would have liked, may be time for a refurb. I would return to the hotel.

A beautiful building, gorgeous interior, lovely staff. Pre stay communication was not as helpful as hoped. Spa felt very detached, but good Spa therapists. No air con in rooms was disappointing Sadly early am bar/linen delivery below the window was not great with open windows! Overall staff and restaurant made stay worthwhile.

Our first time at the Hotel. We booked it for a Family wedding which was nearby. We were very impressed with the reception area and the staff booking us in. The room we had was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were so friendly and very helpful. A hotel and staff to be proud of. We didn’t have time to use any of the other facilities but we will in our next visit.

Great room with garden view. Think we got a room upgrade. I liked the SPA, sauna good and pool really nice, bit small but nice with good ambiance and views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, maybe could be slightly more variety in terms of the cold options. Lounge area was nice. Gardens very pretty. Overall nice relaxing stay

Excellent value. Well kept, well decorated room. Whole hotel relaxing and nice staff, gorgeous grounds.

Staff were incredibly friendly but room had some issues - unsafe lighting in the bathroom and just three pillows on a double bed.

Just a spectacular hotel - clean, lovely and restful.

Great location, a short drive from The Pantiles. Large property with extensive grounds but with a friendly and personal feel. Lovely pool spa area, with slippers and big fluffy towels and robes all included with the stay. We were given a discretionary upgrade to a gorgeous spacious room with a free standing slipper bath and huge shower. Highly recommended hotel.

Nothing to block out the morning sunlight. Poor room design, won't be staying again.

Very clean and friendly, great location

Tired hotel and needs so reinvestment, but lots of parking. Generally ok for the money.

We stayed in a room on the top floor. It was very warm (and not because of the weather, it rained). The bed wasn’t comfy, the pillows hard. The bathroom tired and in desperate need of upgrade (e.g badly cracked tiles and bath surround of mdf which was painted and didn’t fit the side of the bath). You can hear everything through the walls and doors slamming. The road immediately outside was busy and noisy. The pool was small, very busy, and also slightly tired. The gym facilities were old and in two small rooms. Again very busy. The service was extremely poor. We’d paid for early check in and the room wasn’t ready. One out of three on the check in desk seemed to know what she was doing - the others gave mixed messaging about the time to check in and time for breakfast. When we got to breakfast, the staff were curt and rude. They said they were very busy from an earlier tour group. They were obviously stressed and hassled. They didn’t take our coffee order, breakfast order - I had to ask. Then I had to ask for toast. Then the breakfast came with items missing because they’d run out (only told me when I queried it). Considering they work in hospitality they were far from hospitable. Would not stay here again. Way over priced and not value for money.

The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, but we were disappointed with the shower, which needs updating. The grounds are lovely, and it is a good location for a short drive into TW. Our biggest disappointment was with the breakfast. Some of the cooked items were overdone, and the food was slow to arrive and not hot by the time it reached us. We also felt that the breakfast staff could have been more attentive.

Excellent hotel and great gardens / facilities.

Hi - it was one of the warmest days this year and the room, having had the afternoon sun was warm. The aircon switch was high up and I had to climb on the furniture to switch it on. Then, the batteries in the remote were almost flat. The batteries in the tv remote were also almost flat. Both were not easy to get working.

Really enjoy staying here. Feel very relaxed with great spa facilities. My wife had a 55 minute massage and said it was excellent. Weren’t 100% happy with the room we were put in but were quickly moved to a much better room with a bath which we were very pleased with. Cannot fault it here really and will definitely return.
