Brilliant hotel, great sized & lovely room,fantastic price. Lovely location.

Family wedding which was absolutely first class! No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend this venue despite price of drinks.

Stayed for our wedding anniversary celebration. Was able to check in early but did have to leave card details and was told they would take £50 as an holding fee. Impressed with room the lovely view overlooking the sea. We had an anniversary gift left for us as below. Nice touch.
We used the spa facilities, hot tub steam and pool. Some parts of these facilities looked like they needed a bit of maintenance but overall we had a great time.
After heading back to our room to shower and change for the evening we decided to have drinks in the bar before taking a stroll and returning for food.
Please be aware they do not stock non-alcoholic beverages and in general the drinks and food at pretty prices. A bottled cider and a Glass of Prosecco was almost £17.
After this and a closer inspection of the food menu which wasn’t too our taste, we decided to head elsewhere for our evening meal. We found a local pub ‘The Bell’ which was a 6 minute walk towards Hythe town centre. We had a lovely 3 course meal for a much more reasonable price.
After returning to the hotel we headed back to our room. Generally the corridors, were clean and tidy but wall paper damage was noted by the lift. The beds were comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. Room was warm but air con worked well. We were aware of a wedding taking place below us but it wasn’t noisy.
Breakfast was both continental and full English. The poached Eggs cooked to order were perfectly done. Check out was simple.

Generally good but food in the coast restaurant very disappointing. The trout was such a measly portion I had to order bread. I spoke to three other guest who agreed. Why not do mackerel in season cheap and delicious, very poor.
The service book in the room was very scrappy and not extensive enough. Needs attention

We only stayed one night visiting relatives, but the hotel was well placed for us.

Our stay was so nearly excellent...! The hotel itself, our welcome, the room and the location were all huge ticks. The one negative, however, was that we were served a Chicken Caesar Salad with undercooked chicken. It was mentioned to our waitress who said she would talk to the chef, and that was the last we heard about it. There was no adjustment on the bill, not even any kind of an apology, which was a little disappointing. So, 4 stars instead of 5. What a shame!

Nice hotel. Bar and restaurant lack a bit of character. Checkout at 11 and checkin only at 4 seems poor considering most at least let you checkin by 3 and out at 12 these days. They tell you to keep trying before 4 if you try to checkin earlier but that’s a waste of time.
They could make more of the outside space to make it more inviting for people to use it for drinks or food, especially at the from opposite the sea.

The hotel is lovely. Large clean rooms with massive bed and aircon. We could see the sea from ours without paying the extra for it: the price was fantastic. Not much to do in the are but we were visiting port lympne so the hotel was perfect for our needs.

Fantastic place to stay we were upgraded to a larger room. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious and lively surroundings.

Only downside to our visit was the noise from the air con. We didn’t sleep all night.
I raised it with the reception when I left and was told that she would inform maintenance.

Our room was on the ground floor next to the car park. A car alarm went off in the early hours of the morning directly outside the window and woke us up. The car then proceeded to continously rev its engine and race around the car park for about 15 minutes. The ground floor rooms need soundproofing.

Overall a pleasant stay ! Expected more from a 4 * hotel ie lack of toiletries no separate shampoo and conditioner , breakfast very basic .
Good points staff very friendly and polite, had dinner in the bar wasn’t that good for the price we paid drinks were slow coming .

The reception staff Anna and Evie made us so welcome, we arrived early and we were able to check on arrival.
We had dinner in the hotel on the day we arrived and the food was delicious, the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. We had a marvellous three nights stay and plan to stay again when we are in Kent.

Breakfast was awful for the money, awful machine coffee ? How difficult is it to brew fresh ground coffee and serve it to a table in a pot. I haven’t seen smaller croissants at a children’s party .
A this stems from poor management and penny pinching although at £16 for breakfast I was the one ripped off. Due to stay in Hythe again but I’ll be looking elsewhere. Shame because staff are nice and it’s a beautiful hotel in a lovley place.

The hotel is well situated in a lovely area on the beach. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is lovely and the prices not extortionate. You can have a lovely meal in the bar rather than in the restaurant. The bedrooms are clean, spacious and tidy. Would definitely come back again

Room was very dirty even though we had 2 x deluxe suites which was a very appreciated upgrade. However our room had a very dirty carpet and the showersink taps were extremely dirty. And near the toilet wall was a very unsightly nose picking on the wall. Also in regards to the size of the room the TV was extremely small to the extent that you couldn’t even read the text in the screen from the bed. When mentioned to the staff they just kept repeating the fact that we should just appreciate that we were upgraded.

Loud Musik, shouting talking loud in neighbour room.
Called reception at 2am. They had a word. Restarted again, called reception at 3am. Loud shouting ongoing until 4am. No sleep for me all night.
