Room was dirty and in need of refurbishment - there were holes in the wall. Shower had really poor water pressure. Staff was friendly but charged us twice for the hotel taxes. Breakfast was overpriced.

Enjoyed the bar in the lobby and ability to get ice from the bar. Large elevator. Quiet room with great view. AC would only get moderately cool.

Great hotel, spacious room, and very comfortable. The staff were always helpful. The location is excellent. My only complaint is that the towels were small and quite threadbare. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We found the location near the old port very convenient for visiting the old port area and selection of restaurants, all within walking distance. Check in staff were very helpful. The parking location and way back was a bit challenging even with good instructions from staff (at night and with new rental car) however was very safe and secure. Room was fine except that we found the paper glasses provided were a bit of a letdown.

Everything very good and at a fair price, except for parking. We arrived on Sunday early evening but had to wander in a vast parking, end up in a closed mall and behind closed doors trying to get to the reception before a "search party" liberated us.

In the city centre, less than 10 min walking to the Vieux Port. Extremely comfortable bed, nice shower with Nuxe shower gel, decent room size. Breakfast was also very good, with delicious local cheeses and lots of options. Will definitely stay here again when in Marseille.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Bathroom had combination body wash/shampoo. Not lotions. No conditioner. No bar soap. Gym had no glasses for water all week long. This rating is based on a 4 star hotel rating.

The parking was offsite and when I couldn't find it after a very long day driving a male member of staff was very dismmissive of my problem. On leaving I found my car had been broken in to and when I reported this a female staff member said I had parked on the wrong level and dissmissed the event as nothing to do with them. later that day a different female staff member did help with my situation. Overall, they could indeed SHOULD have offered more assistance to our situation

Spent a few days in Marseille to chill, enjoy the historic sites and take in the atmosphere. Marseille is a busy place with lots to see and plenty of places to eat and drink. This Mercure is located well, comfortable, and has a great breakfast.

Clean hotel. Staff is friendly. Very close to the Vieux Port de Marseille (old port of Marseille). And closebto the bus station to visit Notre Dame de la Garde. And close to the boat that visit the Calanques.

The room type was ok but the sofa bed was horrible it’s so hard I felt the metal bits on my hole body my back was sore in the mornings I hope they will improve it for the next person won’t have a same problem

I have stayed in Mercure Hotels before and I knew what to expect. The hotel room was fine. Large and spacious along with a king size bed.
What I didn’t expect was a building site outside my window that worked all night.
They are laying the road at the moment in front of the hotel and they had the diggers and tarmac machines working all night. There was a constant rumble of Machinery as well as the siren from the machines as they passed the hotel. I was kept awake all night.

Great location, 10min walk to Gare St-Charles, 5min walk to Port, 10min walk to Panier. Clean, accessible and a great view of Notre Dame de la Garde. Staff available and helpful at all times. Good shower pressure and hot water. We loved our stay!

Excellent location a short comfortable walk to the Old Port. Dedicated parking in a nearly adjacent car-park (which current roadworks made slightly tricky to find). Staff very pleasant. Enjoyed the panoramic view from our 10th floor bedroom. Bit of a "rickety" table in the room our only complaint, otherwise loved it.

Good location. Staff at check in were not outright rude but were not welcoming. Wanted a twin room but got a double smoking room with a very strong smell of stale cigarettes. Was asked to pay the city tax on arrival but staff at checkout had no record of this and kept me waiting for ages until they accepted I had already paid. The building felt tired and generally dirty, including the bedsheets and towels.
