Excellent property

This Best Western was very clean and a great stay. Breakfast was great, hot water, clean room, nice front desk and easy access.

I was informed that my room was on the second floor with no elevator. I would have never reserved such a room, but nothing in the description informed me. Mr. Best Western has taught me a valuable lesson that I shall apply to future reservations.

Older facility with no elevator and the doors are not automatic. Clerk was nice enough to give me a first floor room, didn't want to walk steps. Breakfast standard fare and clean and well stocked. Jolly Roger seafood across the street, highly recommended.

The location was great. We were able to park with plenty of space for guests. We could walk across to a few restaurants and dessert. Breakfast was wonderful, the staff were Always pleasant. My only complaint is the mattress wasn’t great, but it wasn’t the worst.

Location to water.

Our room was average but clean. The common areas needed attention. Helpful and friendly staff.

The entire town was dumpy, no real places to eat except the Jolly Rogers or Rosie's, the hotel was dirty, the beds are old springy mattresses, there's no water pressure in the shower, takes forever to rinse shampoo out. The only plus to this dump was the staff were very friendly and helpful when asked for anything.

Well maintained property acrossed the street from the lake. Good continental breakfast.

Overall, a great place. Cleaner than much more expensive places that I've stayed. The free breakfast was basic but good, and the little pool looked clean. The bathroom and shower were spotless and worked well. The beds were very comfortable. The AC worked perfectly but smelled like mildew, and the freezer section of the minifridge rained condensation onto our leftovers. The TV was quite small, but worked fine. The hotel is directly across the street from Lake Erie, which we could see from our room. Very pretty!

We over paid for this motel. I wouldn’t pay more than $150 and that would be high. Usual low cost motel features: scratchy towels with only two for four of us, one shampoo with no lotion or conditioner, toilet that kept running and noisy a/c. Breakfast was good but should be for the cost. Location was just ok not on a beach or in walking distance.

Room wasn't ready until 1 1/2 hours after check-in time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walking distance to public beach and restaurants.

The Hotel looked dirty when we first walked in including the hallway and steps that looked like they have not been swept in awhile. Our room was clean but the room looked outdated. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, did not sleep well.

Hotel rooms s very nice, small and cozy!! Lots of insects around windows and pool-was hoping for better cleaning!! No elevator to second floor. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Location was excellent!!

Grounds unkept. Floor dirty. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Requested room be serviced, did not happen. Booked three days but only stayed two due to such poor conditions. No refund. Air conditioner blew out cold wet air, room was damp the entire stay. Outside security door did not latch. Anyone could enter the building at any time. Breakfast was nastly. Juice drink was watered down. They ran out of food and juice. Said they had to thaw out more. We would NEVER EVER stay at one of these hotels EVER again.

Fine for one night

Room was clean but bed & pillows were not comfortable. We had a room with a view of the lake which was very nice. The continental breakfast was convenient. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

The building seemed used and abused. The pool, not that we had time to swim in it, was unusable. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The smell as soon as you walk in the door started to throw up a flag. But we checked in anyway. We grabbed our things from the car and learned there was no elevator...thankfully there was only 2 floors. Still unpleasant for the couple that came with us that packed heavier than we did. The smell going up the stairwell was, oh my!! Something or someone didnt make it to the bathroom and it sat in the heat and marinated for a couple of days...thats what it smelled like. The room itself was ok. The bed could have been a lot better. It felt as if they layed a sheet over a bunch of springs. Besides those things the stay was not horrible. When we come back to the area i will just be booking a room from another Hotel.

The hotel is convenient to everything we wanted to see, just across the street from a well-known restaurant, and an easy drive from downtown.

Carpet smelled like vomit

Nice large room, two double beds but a lot of unused wasted space. At least a love seat/couch and coffee table would have been nice. And it was way overpriced for what we got. We easily spent twice what it was worth.

It's an older Best Western but clean. Breakfast was good. No elevator and we didn't know that ahead of time.

Good location to a lot of restaurants

Easy and convenient. Wonderful restaurant across the street by the name of Jolly Rogers.

The whole experience was pretty good the breakfast was ok.
