The shower enclosure was plastic and cracked. I reserved a King Bed room and was put in a room with two queen beds. The breakfast was ok and the area was better than the other options on the east side of Cassopolis Street.

Needs renovation on both the outside and inside. There’s a weird, overwhelming smell when you first walk in the lobby. The staff is nice, but the property is outdated and needs a lot of work. Our room was stuffy and cramped, and there was a dehumidifier running to pull the moisture out of the air. The tub in the shower felt as if the bottom would give way if you moved around too much. The floor tiles need a good scrubbing throughout. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too small. There was free breakfast, but the smell wafting through the lobby made it unappealing, so we ate elsewhere. Considerably overpriced.

Bed was uncomfortable, room wasn't the cleanest. Hotel smelled like mothballs. Note to self to never book a room there again!! Went to the front desk and asked if they had a shower chair for my girlfriend who is an amputee, and of course they did not have one!! Won't go back there!!

The price and staff were exceptional. My wife and I were delighted by the expansive breakfast options provided.
While we did enjoy our stay, there are some negatives. The tub and shower were run down. There probably should be a shower liner in addition to the curtain. Some of the walls in the room had chipped paint.

Bedbugs on the sheets. Informed front desk agent and he seemed like it was a regular occurrence. Called after we got home and was told they do not do refunds… horrible experience and all the pictures online are fake also!!

Decent stay. Good beds but pillows are too flat. Good breakfast with hot options (sausage and gravy, eggs, sausage patties). The only issue we had was the AC did not seem to kick in in the middle of the night and the room became a bit warm. It worked fine in the evening and morning but not during the night for some off reason.

It was Aug. 11 to Aug. 12, 2024 and although we didn't stay at this location in Elkhart because we could not even locate the hotel on 8-11, we did stay at another Baymont by Wyndham near the Notre Dam University for the same amount but upgraded to a suite. They helped us so much better. I have tried often to call Elkhart location, their voicemail system was not even set-up. Drove from Griffith to South Bend, IN and we so mad when we could not find the Elkhart's Baymont...we were ready to return home instead.

The young lady at the front desk was the only good part of our visit. Upon checking into our rooms we found large blood stains on one set of sheets and food all over the other set. Both beds were totally made. When we raised issue with the front desk, we were given a new key with the wrong number. After that, we chose to leave and stay elsewhere. Place was filthy on top of it all. DO NOT STAY HERE

Lobby was extremely hot. Was definitely not a corporate owned location. Lobby has odor until you reception desk there were fans going and scent misters running. Long walk to room. Room was clean and partly updated. TVs were not even smart TVs and were early flat panel TVs with very hard to manage cable. No guide and no options for Netflix or other services.
