Older motel, could of been cleaner, didn’t feel safe, sounded like someone was trying to open our door multiple times during the night

Unfriendly staff, deadbolt on door did not work. Billing paperwork left out on table (desk) for other guests to see. Was actually shown another guests statement. All problems blamed on the fact I booked thru a third party booking site.

Breakfast was not included as advertised due to renovations. Floor of the room was dirty. Sketchy area. Bedding and towels were clean. Bed was comfortable.

Front desk was rude, hallway and hotel smelled, and the beds were cheap and creeked with every little move you made. Dont recommend.

The photos of this property could not be further from the reality. Very run down, rooms NOTHING like photos, no sheets/blankets/pillows available for pull out couch, the parking lot made us SO uncomfortable we spent an hour searching for a hotel to change to with no luck (Labor Day weekend). There were sketchy people walking around and around the parking lot. We were very uncomfortable with the situation during our one night stay. However, the room itself seemed clean, the beds were good. Just beware that the property is NOT the one shown in photos.

This property photos did not at all reflect the pictures on the posting. Breakfast was falsely advertised. Room and overall hotel were extremely dirty and foul smells filled the halls. Numbers on doors were deteriorating, no ice machines available. NOT secure, nothing stopping the general public from roaming around and also only 1 small lock on hotel room doors. Would not recommend. Planned a 2 night stay and ended up canceling a short time after arriving, on day 1. We left in the middle of the evening (10pm) to check into a different hotel, spent less than 1 full hour in the room. Front desk staff did not specify how much they were going to charge before running our card, provided zero paperwork specifying the charges, etc.

Friendly staff. Room was very nice and clean and there were plenty of pillows.

Moldy tubs, broken deadbolts, and when the first night ended with a fireman climbing though our window, we checked out the next day and finished our trip at another hotel.

Red Lion certainly isn't what it used to be! Will never stay here again. Guy checking us in was nice enough but ugh, bad 1st impression lobby and it didnt get better when we got to our room. Bed was broken, floor was dirty, old & gave a really bad vibe. Not in the best neighbor but was quite except for the constant running water, sounds of a jack hammer but stopped late night. Think it was the fan in the room above us. Would have left but didnt want to lose $157. Do yourself a favor, don't stay here.

My bathroom was dirty as heck

Dirty rooms, nasty smells, no breakfast, no ice machine working, uncomfortable bedding, stains on night stand TV stand, loud running water noise / plumbing in walls

It has definitely improved since the first time we stayed, and staff is much friendlier. Next door kind of trashy although close to hospital and community college. Machines in the workout room didn't work well, although at least it's open. A/C worked well, also microwave and fridge. Had plugs for our devices.

The room itself was fairly clean. The beds were clean. Lots of deep cleaning that needs to be done. Stains on walls, floors under beds/ac not swept. Inside hotel was clean. Parking lot had quite a bit of trash in it. Could use some clean up and it would be even better. 3/5 stars

While clean and newly updated, the space is odd and does not make great use of our large room. Generally poor lighting in stark hues. Worst of all, very uncomfortable mattresses, both the king and the fold-out. The fold out couch had no linens and there were cigarette burns on the 2" thick mattress.

The lock on the door was broken, they took an additional $100 deposit for the room at checkin and there was a used dirty razor left in the shower and black hairs in the bottom of the shower. I had to keep going to the front desk anytime I needed to go into my room because the door lock wouldn’t work to open the door. I’m still waiting on my $100 deposit to be repaid back into my account.

Parking lot was sketchy & felt unsafe. Front desk was make-shift. Hallway smelled musty. Room was clean enough to stay. Staff was pleasant. Police were called in the morning. For pet friendly, there was no place for puppy to potty safely. Will not stay there again.

Last resort hotel

Old, run down, where ice machine should be, was a bare wall with wires coming out of it, breakfast room was being used for storage, coffee on 2nd floor hallway, was a day old coffeeurn with sugar and a couple of cups, no cream, room fridge did not work. Coffee maker in room with no coffee pouches. Firniture had burn marks on them. Beds seemed cleaned and comfortable Front desk check in was good

Wish I could give this place a negative score! Beware! Very dirty, front desk staff (male) extremely rude and threatening. No breakfast, was used for storage of some kind. Room stank so bad it was pretty unbearable. Never felt so unsafe both around the property and around the staff.

The first room we got smelled like rotting food or something had died in it, we tried to spray something to help the smell but it only made it worse. When we opened the door to the bathroom a ton of fruit flies came out and started crawling out of the drain/ toilet. We went downstairs and asked for a new room and when we went into the new room we started to think the other room wasn’t cleaned since the room looked more put together and clean.

This was the worst Red Lion I had ever stayed in. Our key cards never worked and there was someone trying to open the door, which made me and my party felt a bit unsafe. This is the first and last time I will spend the night in Everett again.
