It was a great stay. Room was comfortable. I really liked the lady that checked me in, she was friendly and professional and took a minute to chat. I wish I knew her name

This is a small hotel very convenient to US70. The carpet in our room looked like rubber type carpet tiles. They felt wet to bare feet and the room had a very strong chemical smell. We only stayed two nights and the smell didn’t get any better. Other than the strong chemical odor, the room was very clean and adequate. That being said, we will choose a different hotel the next time we visit New Bern.

I liked the friendly, courteous staff and the breakfast buffet. I didn't like what appeared to be mold in the shower. It wasn't a lot, but any is too much.

Front desk seemed nicer than the actual room. Carpet in room was sticky and the bath tub didn’t drain properly. The staff on duty when we arrived was very nice, but didn’t take note of the booking with pet for the room and when they saw our dog the next day they were a bit rude about it and asked why we hadn’t told them about the dog needed to pay a pet fee and usually they needed to now because they place pets in certain floors of the hotel. We felt as if we were being accused of trying to not pay for a pet fee.

We were traveling with our little dog and they were very friendly to him. Even gave him a little welcome packet.

We were downgraded from a King Study to a double with no notice. Hotel staff were not present and available when it came time to check out, we were kept waiting for 15-20 minutes. I will not be staying at this location again

The bed was AWFUL!!! Did not sleep at all. Room was cramped. Shower was terrible

Unfortunately our room was so moldy and musty it was hard to sleep. The room did not come with sheets for the pull out sofa but the front desk provided us with linens. The tub was slimy, the toilet area was not clean. Not what we would expect from a Hampton Inn.

My experience with Expedia was terrible

Staff were wonderful and friendly. They had a dog gift bag ready for our pupper when we checked in. The room was clean and just what we expected. Next to the hotel, there is a large field to walk your dog. Breakfast was different every day, and each rotation was delicious. The hotel was quiet and is away from the main road, but still close to different restaurants and shops. We’re planning our next trip and will definitely be staying here again.

Toilet was running all night, we had to change rooms for the second night. That took several hours off our day :( We were promised HH compensation, yet received nothing. Room was stuffy and smelled musty. Beds were comfy, bathroom needs updating. Breakfast just average. Staff was very nice.

We had to move rooms at 1am. The person beside us was blaring a TV action adventure movie and would not turn it down. The room we moved to was filthy. The carpet was sticky. I threw my socks away and washed our shoes when we got home. The toilet had to be flushed several times to get it to empty. The people who work there are very nice. The outside of the hotel and the lobby look great. The rooms are in need of an update and cleaning. Looks can be deceiving.

The location and availability of a room met my needs. But this hotel needs an upgrade – the toilet was very low and I am short, I don’t usually have that problem. The tub was so narrow, the beveled edges affected my balance. The carpet was, hard, dark brown, and felt damp. The whole room felt cold and damp. There were no USB ports. Service was prompt and the breakfast was good.

Awesome stay! Our only complaint was that the eggs and sausage made us go hunting breakfast somewhere else. Not great!!

Easy to find, staff was friendly, floor was quiet, access to ice and vending machine was convenient, many toiletries, nice blow dryer, room was warm but cooled off quickly when I adjusted the temperature. Will stay here again.

Property does not offer a business center have to go next door at their other property. Property is old and needs a facelift ASAP.
Parking was difficult big trucks taking up space.

Clean and convenient location however the parking was always full and the breakfast wasn’t much to brag about. But the staff were amazing and the rooms were clean

The room absolutely smelled of overpowering disinfectant or whatever cleaning product they use. Managed to make it livable with some ventilation. Breakfast was so so not bad not so good no hot chocolate or peanut butter for bagels.

Great location, super friendly staff, even short-handed during a tropical storm! Great breakfast option with a very tasty southwest omelet on the buffet.
