I was well received when I arrived. The staff was great, friendly and personable. My room was very nice, an attractive place to stay. The Valet Service also was on point! I would highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel on a quieter end of town, lots of good food within blocks, and walking distance to all the touristy must-sees.
We did the scavenger hunt completely by accident and had so much fun showing the pictures to the concierge.

Hotel was clean and plenty of space. The day we arrived work was being done on the generator so no power. Was supposed to be until 3 pm but far exceeded that time past 7 pm. The next night more work was being done so no TV. That was essentially our entire trip. Would have been nice to get a notice before our trip.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, simple interior, and probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, at a hotel! No bar though. Also, the fitness center is on the sixth floor, and it was right above our room so we could hear people dropping weights when they were working out in the early morning and late night. Maybe move it to another part of the hotel? Definitely recommend Meli Café for breakfast or lunch!

In Chicago for the weekend. The walk from the L station (La Salle) to the hotel was shorter than the walk from the gate to the O Hare L station. Every staff member from check in to concierge to housekeeping to check out were helpful. I had room 1002 (corner) with a nice view down Dearborn St. Room had a lot of light during the day. Loved the bathroom (rain shower head, two sink counter, mirror with dim lighting). Location was great for walking to museums and local restaurants. The hotel itself doesn't have a bar but Meli Cafe is attached and has full bar (nice for Saturday brunch drinks). To bad they close at 3PM. Will be returning to Chicago in 2025 and will definitely stay here.

This hotel was nice enough. You can tell they tried to update an older building and for the most part they did a great job. The service was great!!! The people were great. The location was great, easy access to alot. The library, food, and a Starbucks right across the street. The only real complaint i had was the room smelled moldy. It was hot and humid even with the AC set at 66. Also, the valet is $60!! There is cheaper parking arounf the block so do your research.

Spent six days here for a business trip with multiple co-workers. Everyone enjoyed the hotel and the fact that it was smaller and quiet. Nice Tavern down the road made up for the fact that there was no onsite bar. Great location. Great and friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was great except for the air conditioning the room. I had it set low but I never experienced actual cooling during my stay.

Very nicely remodeled hotel. Only complaint was the bed was a bit firm. The cafe next to the hotel was good and glad it was there as I had early morning meetings I had to get to so glad to be able to catch breakfast.

This was our first time staying at this hotel & we were very happy with our decision to book a room there! It was easy to get to - we are not familiar with downtown Chicago, so having it be easy to find was huge!
The staff was super kind & accommodating! Shout out to Al, Showtime & Mike!
Our room was very nice! Clean & well decorated & the huge windows overlooked Dearborn and it was so pretty!!
Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!!

It was a very nice boutique hotel. It had a lot of character in the rooms and hotel itself. Staff was very polite and friendly, will book here again for next year.

So impressed with this hotel. Some amazing rooms and bathrooms, clean, nicely located and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The price we got it for was cheap compared to the level of service, would definitely stay here again, if going back to Chicago.

We were able to check in a bit early, which was convenient and appreciated. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was large, comfortable and very clean. One of our favorite places to stay in the hoop and this visit did not disappoint!

Beautiful hotel and very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Wife and i stayed for two days and enjoyed the decor in the room, loved the neat lamps. My only minus would be the beds being a bit low, though very comfortable, and the bathroom needed more lighting. Would definitely stay again.

We were promptly greeted upon entering the lobby. The valet/ bellhop service was very attentive and welcome. The front desk answered questions about the area. Room was clean, housekeeping service was great. Most local attractions were within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel/location and plan to return when visiting Chicago in the future. I feel like this hotel is a hidden gem.

My stay was amazing. It almost got ruined when my Uber driver started to take off while I was halfway in the car, a gentleman named Michael who was on the staff of the hotel saw what was happening and stopped the driver…totally saved me from being seriously hurt or worse!! Hotel Blake treated us like family!
