Lots of issues in room! Fire alarm disconnected not functioning! Mold in bathroom! Door bad shape! Sink cracked would not drain! Sand in bed and floor on arrival! Few others

Great service but the property is a little run down- lots of small things/ nothing large that need to be corrected such as dirty lamp shades, scraped up doors and hallways, damaged/ broken wood work, missing spackle on ceilings, cracked cement and paint The property is sound and solid but it needs 2 or 3 full time handymen to fix a LOT of details. Great location Yes I would stay there again but I would roast them in my review if they didn’t address the myriad of maintenance issues.

Would stay there again

The room we stayed in really could’ve used some work. Part of ceiling was cracking and had displacement, shower needed recaulking pretty badly, and WiFi connection isn’t great. However, beach access easy, great dining options, nice pool, and great fenced in dog area for our dog to use the bathroom and run around in. Overall a decent stay, but the place needs a little mending. Our dog definitely enjoyed it, so for him 5 stars.

Enjoyable

Our room was in a lousy location. Right next to the elevator. The view was partially blocked by part of the 1st floor building. The pole lamp in our room did not work.

Nice hotel. Everyone was friendly. Need to work on exit to go to beach and small deck needs work falling apart.

Overall, great stay.

The staff was really nice. Everyone there was very helpful. The hotel it self is very outdated except for the lobby, which you can tell was recently renovated. Definitely needs some TLC in the rest of the hotel. My room door was hard to close, and the paint was peeling off pretty bad on it. The door to the balcony wouldn’t shut, my bf had to use his man strength and it still wouldn’t close, really slept with it open, honestly. Lol. Also the railing on the balcony was loose, screws had come out and was never put back on. Other than that, the bathroom was very well taken care of, they were nice, and looked newly renovated as well, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms could most definitely use some touching up. The hotel itself was decent, could use some detailing in the hallways and the elevators, as well as in the stairs…. I’m very detail oriented and I like nice things, so the pictures definitely reel you in, and it’s nothing what you expected once you get there. Overall not a bad hotel, but for the price, I wouldn’t pay for it again. $350 per night for the ocean view isn’t worth it in my opinion.

Needs renovations

Everything was ok but that I pay for balcony with view to the pool and they gave me one with the view to the street, room looks clean no dust around but mold in the shower walls that jus a little bit of bleach can resolve. For few times the elevator was no working but apart of that it was fine

Caucasian lady at the front desk charged us for our dog after putting us in a non-pet friendly room. Never told us—-had to get that refunded. Manager settled this—-but it was crappy to have to go through when it was unnecessary.

This is an older beach hotel, but it was a great price for a last minute booking, the lady that checked us in was so sweet and the location was perfect.

Our room never was cleaned, ran out of toilet paper and our trash was not picked up. Been coming to this place for at least 12 years and this was a disappointment this year

Elevator was out, room was on 4th floor. The entire hotel was very hot, AC sucked. AC unit in room did not keep room cool. Balcony door did not seal, heat came right through the door cracks.

The location was very nice and right on the beach. A perfect little getaway. The staff was very nice when I was making the reservations on the phone and when I was at the property.

Clean

Wanted to find accommodations "on the beach' at a reasonable rate. The room was comfortable, if not overly spacious. The bed was fine, but so many places nowadays seem to think having a two-inch thick mattress pad is a bonus...meh. Beach access was virtually "right out the door".

This hotel is old and needs to be updated. We stayed here for the location. That being said, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The A/C was loud and ran constantly the entire stay. The staff was friendly. The hotel is literally on the beach and the beach was awesome. The ocean was in the 70’s and there was a pod of dolphins that were fun to watch. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless they renovate.

The staff was fantastic and it was clean. My only complaint is we were a couple with no dogs and kids and got put in the middle of the rooms with dogs. We were also next to the door which leads to beach access and in the evening it got loud. I would stay again, I would just make sure I wasn’t near all the rooms they were putting the dogs.

The staff is all extremely friendly!!! It’s obvious that they work hard to keep the hotel clean and welcoming for all of their guests. I would recommend staying here if you want a good experience!

Staff was friendly, but property is very run down and not maintained well. Chipped paint, chipped ceilings and tile. Good central location. Don’t think it is worth the price.

The property is extremely old and the rooms only have double beds. The AC in the room had a hard time keeping up. No AC in the hallways. Elevators old and slow and loud. Nice pool area. Easy access to the beach. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Too expensive for the age of the property.
