Annual 4-night bike riding trip in Aspen. First time staying at the St Moritz Lodge, and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Tom at the front desk is very welcoming and helpful. Great customer service it was appreciated. Morning continental breakfast and afternoon happy hour wine was a nice touch. Very walkable to downtown and all the restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend the St. Moritz Lodge, and I would stay here again on our next trip to Aspen.

The room was nice and clean, the pool was fantastic, and the whole property feels like an Italian villa. Being only about a 5 min walk from all the Aspen action, the price seemed much more reasonable than other places.

Cozy

The hostel side of the St. Moritz Inn in Aspen, CO is an excellent place to stay if you're on a budget. Let's not overlook the fact that visiting Aspen is incredibly expensive, but the St. Moritz in is very reasonably priced relative to the surrounding properties. The front desk staff is very helpful in providing local information, the Inn is very clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool is quite nice!

It’s so fantastic that I don’t want to share how great it is. It’s a truly European chalet vibe, completely unpretentious, offering amazing value. Walking distance to all of Aspen town. Shhh. Don’t tell anyone else. It’s getting very hard to book a room here!

St. Moritz Lodge is located in a great location with easy access to everything.

Very nice people - set up breakfast early so we could have food before we headed out yo hike.

Loved this sweet lodge. Hope to visit again next summer. The pool is a dream, breakfast was great, and the bed was comfortable. Clean room and bathroom, great location! So much charm and character! A winner of a lodge!

I rarely leave reviews on hotels.com but this really deserves it. The staff is so friendly and understanding. Real Colorado! Is there a sixth star to give? And double-wow for the heated pool. Our young kids loved it (sos did we).

I am so upset about this property. The pictures online do show that this property is very dated so we expected it to not be a 4 star facility but the "standard room" we got was awful. You walk into the building and there is a weird musty odor. When you open the door to unit 603, there is a dark hallway (dark wood paneling on the walls) with 4 doors, 2 of which are locked. The other 2 doors are a very small bathroom with just a toilet and the other has a shower. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 double beds. There were 3 small "office" chairs but no space really big enough for the 4 of us to be together. The fridge and microwave are in the bedroom closet. There are very few electrical outlets. The ceiling fans in both rooms are out of balance so they wobble and are very noisy if you have them on a higher setting than "low". We were there for one night and the cost was $481.38. I cannot believe that I paid that much for place that should be rated as a 2 star facility at best. I have actually lost sleep about being dupped for that much money. The only really good thing about this place was the staff. They are very nice people. If you plan to stay here, make sure you don't get room 603. So disappointed in my first ever trip to Aspen.

Great price and location. Very clean. I’d recommend this to any savvy traveler who wants a clean and reliable hotel. Note: I have to share a bathroom but it’s very spacious and feels private.

We did not stay here, due to flooding in the condo we had rented. However, Joel the manager was very accommodating and found a 2 bedroom condo for us in town that met our needs. We will be happy to book St Moritz in the future. Great customer service!!

The lodge is nice and well located about 10 minute walk to Aspen city center. The staff is nice and it was easy to do a late check in with the codes. Breakfast is ok. The hotel and rooms are clean. The rooms we stayed in were old, the bathrooms in particular would need improvement.

Great location for food and wine classic

My family of four stayed at St. Moritz on a recent trip to Colorado. We wanted to be close to the main area and have a pool and this place fit the bill. Our condo (2 bedrooms with 4 beds total and 2 baths) overlooked the pool, which my daughter gave an 11 out of 10 stars. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided a good variety of fuel for the day. The kitchen and bathrooms had been updated and were really nice. If we’re ever back in Aspen, we would definitely stay here again!

This is one of the older properties in Aspen and it has a definite “hostel”/community feel. It is not lux, it’s a little worn, and the furniture isn’t fancy - BUT, it’s clean as a whistle, the staff is lovely, the included breakfast is amazing (fresh fruits, yogurt, meats & cheeses, cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast/bagels, and more), and my room was very comfortable. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool or steam room but I could see the pool from my room and it looked super clean and nice. I loved the place. I met nice people and had good sleep. Plus, it’s walkable to downtown!
