We were at Hampton for a two night stay. Great place to stay. No complaints. Clean room.

Right next to a beautiful walkway that goes to food and shopping.

For $200. I expect way better. There was a constant mechanical noise in our room , all night, the building was being renovated and was pretty torn up. Very overpriced for what we got.

We were only there one night but that one night was very comfortable.

Great experience and will stay again on next trip.

There was ongoing construction which hindered my ability to enter the building with a stroller a bit, but that’s the only thing.

Nice area. Lots of dining options nearby. Rennovations to entrance made unloading a it of a challenge, but hotel personnel qere quick to help.

The hotel was under construction but the staff was helpful and friendly. The base of the bed was very creamy and noisy but the room was very clean.

Dirty wet carpet!!!!!!

Upon entering our room, we were immediately struck with a smell of dog urine. We chose to check out.

The property is in the process of being renovated/remodeled. The hallway smelled like urine. For the price, not as nice as a normal Hampton Inn.

Heidi and Pam were wonderful when we checked in helping us with towels and blankets and making sure we were accommodated like we were family. Ashley was a godsend when we needed a later checkout. Hyvee around the corner. Highly recommend this Hampton!!!

This is way too expensive for the area. The whole town smells no places to eat no attractions price was outrageous.

The lady at the desk was very accommodating. We asked for a first floor room and she made the arrangements for us. We brought our dog and had easy access outside to walk her.

Both desk clerks were less than professional. One was smoking right outside the front door and had to put her cigarette out to check us in. She was friendly and accommodating but wreaked of smoke and it just didn’t seem professional to be doing that right where we walk in. The next morning, there was a different gal whose appearance was less than desirable …like she had just crawled out of bed. Not at all professional for greeting guests, etc. I stood for quite a while trying to just check out as she helped others even though I was there first. We noticed the elevator hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It needed vacuumed badly. Also, our bathroom floor was filthy behind the door. It had not been cleaned. The room just seemed older and run down. We almost always stay at Hampton Inns as we have had great experiences with them in the past. Unfortunately this visit was disappointing…especially spending $257 for one night.

We were on our way to Denver. We got to DesMoines early enough to get settled in and head out for dinner. Then after breakfast we headed west to Denver, Colorado.

The building is clean. The property in front of the building is green and pleasant.

This is our second time staying here. Clean, comfortable and a good place for a night in our annual road trip.

The sign in the room indicated clean up and refreshed towels every other day, but no one was in the room for the three days I was there. The check in desk was very nice upon arrival, but the next morning a different desk staff was screaming at someone on the phone—very inappropriate.

Overall the stay was good. They need to replace the mattress, it was uncomfortable. There was a spring in my hip all night

Clean rooms

Hampton is always our go to hotel. This is our 3rd stay at this hotel in West Des Moines. This hotel is in need of a make over. We stay for convenience to our family. Hotel has declined over the last 3 years.

Room was clean and well stocked. Close to all needed activities. Will stay again!
