The check in process was very easy and fast. However, I did request a 1st level room when booking the hotel online. Even though I know and understand it’s ONLY a “request” we were booked for the 2nd floor with no way of changing it to a 1st level room.

It's a terrible place. Nothing is working

First I would like to say thank you on the great customer service and communication. Our plans changed very last minute and I needed a hotel in a few hours. We were 5 hrs away. I booked but had very limited cell service. The hotel attempted to call me Serval times to make arrangements for a late check in. When I got service again he was very friendly gave me great instructions what to do for late check in. I arrived at 11:30pm and the rep was super friendly and prompt to check us in. Once we entered the room it was really hot! The ac had been completely turned off.. I get saving electric but at least set it to something half comfortable. We turned that baby on and took showers. It took about an hour and half to cool off. Room was very clean bed was very comfortable. They had breakfast which I didn’t see listed but we decided to sleep instead of eat. We would definitely stay again I just wish they would cool the room down a little before arrival.

Have stayed there several years in a row. It is clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast has improved.

My sisters and I stayed 3 nights at Bay Mountain in Cherokee. Our rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean. We were very pleased with the rooms and the price.

All was very nice, but the cooling of air in the room could have been better. The tub backed up with water when showering too. Still give it 8 out of 10.

They were very accommodating, I got there early and they let me check in early! The room was very clean and close to everything! Extremely clean!

It was close to everything I wanted to see. But the sink and drain were not very good. Slow to empty.

It was a nice clean room friendly staff. Very comfortable. Only issue the tv was staticky.

Room was great. Coffee pot, frig, microwave, lights, A/C, electrical outlets all working great. Note front doors and desk close 10pm to 8am, but you have 24 hour key access to building. Located close to the casino, the shops, gourmet coffee shop. and major flea market area.

Sign out front has wrong name. The toilet wouldn't flush correctly, continental breakfast started at 8:00 and ended at 10:00. Most people leave to go do activities before 8:00AM. Could hear people talking during the night. Very small and hard pillows on the King bed. The lobby and breakfast area was hot, not comfortable. I would not recommend.

Clean, quiet and convenient

They should be ashamed of themselves advertising that they offer breakfast- room was clean and comfortable but very, very basic, a 2 to a 2 1/2 star hotel- I don’t understand how this hotel is so highly rated- I would not stay here again

Very nice place to stay

The front desk clerk Kay was great. Very helpful and personable. Room was clean. Hotel was very quiet. Great value for the money. My only negative was they did not have cold cereal at breakfast, they did have plenty of good breakfast alternatives though. I would recommend this hotel.

Very attentive

Overpaid by booking through Expedia. Property in light industrial area but clean inside. No coffee or breakfast available until 8:00 a.m. Front desk clerk very polite and efficient.

It was a nice stay

Do not stay at this location!!!! Put your sneakers on and RUN!! The front desk staff (Kay) was EXTREMELY rude and nosey. She had me stand in the lobby and complete the reservation through the website and then questioned me another booking site. Now I just paid for room while standing in front of you, while you just helped me. She was mad because I told her let’s handle the reservation that has been paid for. She didn’t want to cancel the reservation after I got tired of the back and forth, even with other guests waiting. Expedia should remove this hotel it used to be Baymont and the customer service was great, but bay mountain customer service is worse than a motel six in the worse neighborhood you can imagine

It was very quiet. We were able get much needed rest.

Water pressure in the shower wasn't good. Other than that it was ok.

Got to hotel and they had locked the lobby before they normally did. I had to call a phone number and wait for someone to come unlock the door so that I could check in. I was told they decided to lock the doors early due to not having many reservations. The hotel must have changed hands because the normal lady was not there anymore. She was always nice and if we weren’t there by a certain time she would call and check to see what our ETA would be. She said she always liked to check on her people.

I would never rent a room at this hotel. First off, when I arrived, there was not one person staying in this hotel, and no one was at the front desk. I called out for about 10 minutes and no one ever came. I walked around to see if I could find anyone, nope. I knocked on the managers door, no answer. I knocked several times, no answer. I saw a phone on the wall, I picked up receiver and dialed zero. No answer. I hung up and redialed zero. Finally someone answered. I told the person I was there to check in, and he said “we will be there soon.” At this point, I did not feel safe staying there. I went back to the front desk and waited. About 5 minutes passed and this guy walked out, with a dirty t-shirt on and headphones hanging around his neck. I told him I did not feel safe staying there and no one else seemed to be staying there at which time he told me the reason no one was there was because they had just cleaned the carpet. At that point he asked for my debit card and I.d. He never once asked for my name. That told me I was the only one checking in. He printed out a form with my name and again asked for a debit card and I.d. I again told him I did not feel safe staying there and asked for a refund. He told me I would have to cancel through Expedia. At this point I went out to my car to call Expedia. A man whom I assume is the owner came into the lobby area and just stood there staring at me sitting in my car. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

Sparkling clean, and only a few minutes drive from Smoky Mountains National Park

The bed and pillows were amazing!
