Clean rooms, great staff and great food

We enjoyed our stay.

Room was exactly as promised. Clean comfortable and spacious. Staff was very good. Breakfast was included and delicious

The room was "fine" but "tired". The location for Antigonish was good. We stayed one night, and thought the price and accommodation matched.

It was a well located property to all downtown amenities which was nice. Plus an outdoor pizza restaurant in the parking lot.

I like the bed and bedding. I Loved the breakfast,it was outstanding . The baseboard jad a film of dust and the outside was run down some. I would stay there again because of the bed and especially the hot delicious breakfast. 😋

Old, dark and dingy. It smelled, air condition very noisy. There were bugs or flees , not sure if they were in the carpet. There was clutter in the entry and hallways

They really, really need to replace their carpets. They are filthy. In the rooms and hallway. Ours was torn. It was a big tear. It is not a comment on the cleaner. They couldn’t fix that. It is my second stay here. The last room had dirty carpet as well. Their staff are lovely and helpful.

Great breakfast and also enjoyed the pizza patio associated with the facility

The room was in serious need of an upgrade. Several lights didn’t work and the shower wasn’t too clean. Overpriced for what it was. A positive was the restaurant. We had a good dinner that was reasonably priced and we enjoyed eating outside.

We enjoyed our stay here. The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and it’s conveniently located. If staying in Antigonish, I think it’s the best option.

Very friendly staff including the staff at the restaurant. Clean rooms but the hallway carpet should be cleaned or replaced.

Hotel is quite outdated and likely has new owners since all new reviews are poor. The room was not clean and we ended up going down to get new linens at 11pm when we found 3 long black hairs in one bed and a worm type bug in the other bed. They need experienced cleaners (likely wearing hair nets) and someone doing a quality check on the cleaners. Breakfast was good. Service at breakfast was also good.

The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast delicious and the location ideal. Recommended.

Pretty decent rooms. Loved the restaurant

Overall a really nice clean place. We were told that if the kids wanted an adult breakfast when we checked in we would get 10$ credit towards their breakfast. At the restaurant they did not give this credit which left a bad last impression.

Everything about this hotel was very good except the humidity in the room. The towels were somewhat damp from the humidity. If this is fixed, I would definitely stay there again. Easy parking, restaurants near by and they do offer a breakfast voucher with the night stay at the restaurant attached to the hotel . Very good food and wide selection.

Located within short walking distance to the town centre. The location has a dining room and there are several other dining options within walking distance.

Perfectly fine moderate 3 star property. Staff working the restaurant on site seemed a bit challenged even though there weren’t that many tables to serve when we there. Telling me you’re “just a runner” when i ask for a refill and then staring out to space for 10 minutes rather than letting the server know their table needs attending is just laziness. Front desk staff were pleasant and attentive. Morning staff at restaurant was pleasant. Food was fine as well. Public washroom was a shambles.

We were very disappointed to check in late in a day and find that our first floor room was damp and musty. It was too late to change rooms. The hotel manager said this was inevitable for a first floor room at this time of year (humid days of summer). There are only two levels, so get a 2nd floor room if you can!

Reasonable price and very friendly service team in all areas...we had a main floor walk up with parking at the door... Clean and comfortable... great restaurant for breakfast and dinner!

Only real issue was the bedding was dirty. There were blood stains on the sheets and we felt uncomfortable sleeping in the bed

The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. A beautiful spot, as well. I highly recommend!

Bathroom was not clean

Slightly older property, nicely kept. Easy to access everything in Antigonish by walking. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant on the property

The receptionist was not particularly welcoming. We got a ground floor room on the left side of the building, and the smell from the sewer grate was being sucked into the room by the AC unit. I turned the AC off and that helped, but not fully. After moving in, we didn't want to try to get another room. We were only there for one night, so we endured it. The bathroom door had a strange vent on the bottom, but the bathroom had no active fan. If there was one, it didn't work. On the plus side, the king size bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was great. We felt safe there. I couldn't recommend it to friends who were traveling to NS. I had to wonder if they give less desirable rooms to those who book through Expedia and other programs that negotiate for lower prices. I hope not.
