Excellent hotel in a great location

Despite being far from the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip to Sardenia, this hotel offered everything, if not more than the others. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, clean, safe, modern property with spacious rooms and fantastic breakfast offerings. Most of all, the staff are incredibly helpful, kind, knowledgeable and make you feel like you’re the most important guest. Next time I will stay for much longer, definitely returning!!!!! Absolutely loved staying here staff went out of their way to make us feel special nothing too much trouble I have food intolerances and elsewhere I have always been offered a slimmed down menu but at Margherita I had the full choice - food was incredible … location fantastic … staff 5* clean surroundings beautifully maintained garden area and pool. Staff always on hand to advise about excursions and places to go and contact companies on your behalf would highly recommend and will definitely be back

Great staff, facilities, location, cleanliness and service.

Perfect stay. Location is perfect, nice views from the room and most importantly, the customer service was amongst the best I’ve received. Having had a very bad experience in a different hotel, we left after 1 night spent and the staff here were very sympathetic. A car rental was arranged over the phone with no fuss, and everything was tended to.. nice recommendations of things to do, covid test was booked for us too. It was a really nice experience especially having worked in a hospital during the covid pandemic. My wife and i are completely refreshed having spent a week in golfo aranci. Thank you especially to the reception staff. Thank you for making this break extra special. Would definitely recommend hotel to everyone.

My 2 daughters and I stayed for one week, and had a great time in Golfo Aranci. The hotel staff were so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We booked taxi and excursions easily and without any issues. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the restaurant is excellent and the pool and surrounding grounds beautifully maintained. We are all looking forward to returning.

What a delight. From the spacious room with the gorgeous view to the friendly staff to the delicious breakfast. This is the type of hotel that makes me want to come back already. The pool was cold (but it’s October, so to be expected) but the garden and seating area was something we enjoyed everyday.

A super hotel with easy access to both beach and the lovely and very friendly town of Golfe dAranci. Chose here for our 30th wedding anniversary as wanted to see this part of Sardinia without the prices and excess tourism of Costa Smeralda. What an excellent choice it was, both in terms of hotel and location!

We had such a great stay at Hotel Villa Margherita. It’s staff are so friendly and accommodating and it’s facilities are everything you need. It’s clean, modern and the breakfasts are delicious. It’s also ideally located with the beach, multiple restaurants and a couple of smaller supermarket/markets right on your doorstep.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. An Italian gem

Me and my wife were on honeymoon and rented a regular room without balcony. We've stayed at five other hotels and rented suites all over Sardinias north east coast and this hotel outshined the competition. Service was on top. You are bound to experience fault went you stay at a hotel. We had some difficulties with our AC, this was however fixed immediately. Breakfast was lovely, that said, I'm very picky with food. The hotel offered pecorino as well as mozzarella every morning alongside prosciutto, salame, olives, sweets and fresh fruit. Eggs and bacon however doesnt look or taste good, that seem to be typical for all Italian hotels I've stayed at. Service in the bar was outstanding, I asked for a unknown drink and had it blended the way I desired. Beach towels are offered free at the pool area. Pool service is excellent, staff serves you by the pool, we ordered drinks and prosecco and got complimentary snacks every time. Complimentary fresh fruit is also offered by the pool every day. The hotel offers many services as you will be able to see on your TV in the room. There you can navigate and see what the local area offers and the hotel offers to help you set up desired bookings. That said this is a must see in Golfo Aranci.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful, quiet location.

I had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and the restaurants menu is great. Although the hotel does not have its own beach, it is very well located, very close to the beaches and has nice gardens, which I found a fresher and private alternative to the beach.

Enjoyed our stay in this good quality four star hotel. Room was spacious and well equipped with comfy bed and linens, good air-con, and a fabulous view of the bay. Garden and pool area is nice, although the pool was freezing, and gets lots of sun, but also shady areas to relax too. Breakfast selection pretty good (for Italy) and mostly charming, helpful staff. Very clean. Very convenient for walking out to a variety of restaurants in the evening Older customer clientele in June, and bar always empty, which was a pity, but not the hotel's fault! Golfo Aranci is a very pleasant town without the pretentiousness of some of the other Costa Smeralda resorts. The beaches in the area are excellent, although in the height of the summer, the apparent absence of shade and sun beds could be a problem. Restaurants in the town are good, if you like sea food that is, as is the Hotel Villa Margherita restaurant. We found the hotel well decorated and maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing, with nothing being too much trouble for them. We used the train to go into Olbia one afternoon and hired a car for three days, that gave us access to the Costa Smeralda. A boat trip around the Maddelana Islands was also very enjoyable.

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful and generally speak english. Lovely garden to relax in. Golfo Aranci is unspoilt by development. Beach is clean with clear water. Restaurants serve good food. In particular Caparisco by railway crossing served excellent seafood and pizzas. Ice cream parlour next to hotel served delicious ice cream and push up lollies made from fresh fruit. Would recommend this location.

Hotel is immacutely presented, and great for a relaxing holiday. Although the resort is relatively quiet, there is a good choice of places to eat and the resort is much better value than its better known neighbouring resorts.

The hotel was immediately welcoming with friendly efficient staff who had a ;no problem' approach to any request. Restaurant host was efficient, knowledgeable and again, 'no problem' to any requests. Menu was develped from the generic fare of the local establishments without having abandoned any of the themes and flavours of them. Slightly more expensive than the other local places but the quality of the menu and food made it worth it. Air conditioning worked without being noisy, typical of the overall efficiency. Other local eateries covered the price range but the usual approach of looking for where the locals ate separated the wheat from the chaff.

The hotel is lovely, great pool, nice breakfast, good rooms with sea views. Golfo Aranci is a very quiet port town with only a few little restaurants (very spaced out from each other) and only 1 bar and the port end of the town is not attractive at all. It is fine for a stay of 3 -4 days but not much longer as there is not a lot going on and not many people around when we visited at end of June. Also the hotel gym is small and limited equipment.
