We had a one night stay at the Harbour Hotel (St Ives) as a couple in a sea view room. We had a nice stay on the whole.
The Spa with swimming pool was a lovely addition that also included a jacuzzi.
The settings at the Harbour Hotel was lovely inside and very clean as was the rooms.
Reception and the Spa staff approachable if you needed anything at all.
Our only negative of the hotel was that on entering our room, you were hit by an uncomfortable stifling heat. We immediately switched the heating off and tried to open the window which would not stay open for us! Again no biggie as we went out for a coffee whilst the room cooled down. We had to sleep with the window open all night as it still felt uncomfortably hot overnight. But on the whole a nice stay.

Amazing location - we went to sleep with the sound of the sea coming in. Piano bar two floors down however, was too noisy up to midnight. English cooked breakfast disappointing but Continental breakfast options very good. Mattress not so good. Easy walk to other dining and shopping.

The service at front desk was appalling.
Builders were putting up scaffolding right in front of the outdoor spa area where the sun beds were, we had to leave as was so noisy.
The bedroom had no air conditioning and was so hot.
Our bags were not taken to our room as suggested - as we arrived earlier and our room was not ready.
Very disappointed and will not stay again.

Friendly service. Amazing views and relaxing spa. From start to finish this stay was incredible. We received a room upgrade to a seaview room. The breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect for a walk into St Ives or stroll down to the beach.

The hotel is lovely with great views of the beach.Good location and spa facilities. Unfortunately our double room was on the third floor and it was like an attic room over the main road. There was a lot of road noise until late at night. The throw on our bed was stained. On the first night our TV did not work and we were told we would have to wait until the next day for the maintenance team. We were not able to move rooms due to the wedding taking place. Disappointing stay particularly following the amazing stay we had last year at the Harbour Hotel Fowey- would recommend staying there instead.

The worst hotel room that we have stayed in. Incredibly hot and not possible to cool down even with a fan and windows open, which allowed people to look into the room, from a footpath a few metres away. This was possibly due to location near hotel swimming pool.

Having stayed at the Habour Hotel in South Hampton I had high expectations for this hotel.
I was however disappointed. The views were spectacular and the room was comfortable, however, on two consecutive days I felt the room was cleaned haphazardly. Used glasses and towels not replaces and the bed looked like it was simply thrown together.
When spending such a lot of money on a room, having a clean room should be a given.
I doubt I will be giving my patronage to this brand hotel again.

Good hotel. Great views of sea from room and restaurant. Comfortable bed. Food In restaurant was excellent.
Convenient for beaches, harbour and other restaurants (but quite steep climb if not of average fitness)
Room gets hot overnight (? Because of the fridge in the room) and there is no air conditioning.
Nonetheless, I would go again.

Very nice hotel with excellent service. Unfortunately, if you travel with children, you have a very narrow window of opportunity to make use of the swimming pool. We found that part of our stay too restrictive.

Our hotel room was fabulous. We had a comfortable two room suite with a balcony and sweeping views of Saint Ives and the bay. However, we found the staff to be generally disinterested, and at times unhelpful. They would only do or say the bare minimum to address your requests. While one was directed to call the front desk to request various services, I had great difficulty getting anyone to ever answer that phone. I usually departed to just going and taking care of whatever the issue was myself. Love the hotel room, and the view, but the staff experience was enough that I would not likely return again.

Enjoyed a lovely weekend (except for the rain lol) at this hotel for my 65th Birthday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very well laid out and the food amazing. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were very relaxing.

Everything was very good. The only issue was the room size. The wardrobe shelves were used for tea/coffee items and so clothes had to be left in suit case but it was difficult to find a space where this could be kept open to access the clothes.

Wow what a hotel! One of the best Iv stayed in the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable the food is superb room was large and lovely touches mini bar and coffee machine even a decanter of local gin and free!

We had a wonderful stay. The spa facilities were amazing and the breakfast was varied and tasty. Our room was very warm and the window open was too noisy so would pay for sea view room next time. Staff were very attentive and offered fans and checked heating for us. We would stay again.

One recommendation I would make is to have a light on the dressing table mirror for when applying make up or drying my hair.

Beautiful St Ives. Lovely hotel and great staff. Not very impressed with the spa this time. Hoards of children took over facilities although not actually allowed. No supervision and steam room didn’t work on 2 occasions as staff do not carry out checks. Spas are for adults to relax. Leisure Centres are for children to let off steam

One minor concern for room 308. The floodlight illuminating the hotel signage outside beamed brightly into the room in the evening, even with shutters fully closed. On the plus side the complimentary decanter of gin was a beautiful touch as was the valet parking. Gorgeous views of the beach and region. Staff service could not be faulted...

Nice stay. Rooms were clean although rather small. Parking is challenging around St. Ives so valet parking was helpful. Cost is 10#/day.
