The lady at the desk was wonderful she could see we were very stressed and short on time for my daughter’s rehearsal dinner and was told at other location they lost our reservation. Very accommodating to us. Nice place and was clean

2nd stay within two weeks as we were very comfortable during our 1st stay. The nonsmoking room was clean/nicely appointed (although one small area of the laminate flooring between the bed and the a/c unit was repaired with duct tape - kinda weird). Morning breakfast was great. Our room’s entry door was in the covered outdoor lounge (aka smoking) area nearest the office. I was startled awake at 3am by a man “lounging” & listening to his phone with volume way up just outside our window. I confronted him & asked that he turn the volume down or use ear buds. He apologized profusely and it was quiet after that. By 8am we were loading up to leave and there were two men (the one who woke me up and another man, both appeared to be homeless) sitting & smoking in the same spot just outside our door. Neither were bothering anyone but we were kinda surprised that the property would allow vagrants to hang out in areas furnished for hotel guests. If we ever stay here again, we’ll be sure to ask for a room that’s away from the outdoor smoking area.

Check in was smooth (Lisa was friendly and helpful in finding a nice dinner spot). Room was spacious, king bed was comfortable and breakfast was plentiful. All in all a great stay. Our first visit to Fairhope and we enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely stay here again!

It was very nice. Only 1 night I had my 3 young grandkids. This room worked perfect for us. It’s an older hotel but it’s very well kept. Could use a few upgrades but nothing major. The breakfast was good. We were in a No Smoking room but it did still have old cigarette smell but that’s almost every older hotel even if it’s non smoking. They had a nice covered area for with outdoor seating and tables. Overall it was good and the staff was Great. The front desk was so nice.

The staff were great, comfy beds, the breakfast was also really good. The surrounding area is just a bit dirty and run down, and I wish they didn’t have a smoking patio right outside of all the non-smoking rooms. Overall not a bad place to stay, and for the price, I’ll probably stay again if I find myself in the area and needing a room.

It’s an old time motel, the building is cute,well maintained location is off the street behind stores, hard to find. The staff is friendly. They serve a traditional motel breakfast in the lobby which was a surprise. Would I return truly not sure. I think the position of the property behind the stores is s bit of a problem for me.

Staff was great, room was spotless. One suggestion would be a mat in the bathtub, especially for us more mature guests. Definitely recommend.

I had to have surgery across the road at Thomas hospital early the next morning… the front desk lady was super friendly, the room was very nice and clean. We stayed on 1st floor , my only complaint was people above us had very heavy feet. Which had nothing to do with the motel. It is extremely nice for the price!!!

The motel’s location is essentially ideal. The housekeeping staff are the epitome of personal and professional decorum…in a word, excellent! One thing to be aware of though. You should have access to “blackout curtains” with you. The outside lighting is intense and permeates your room. Blackout curtains and sleep masks are pertinent. The desk clerks are friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is clean and should accommodate anyone’s basic or otherwise needs. Yes, one can highly recommend this place.

We had to move rooms twice. Once due to someone smoking in the room and once because the to let would not flush. Not a huge deal but the service people have noses and know if the to let doesn't flush. Simple fixes and means a lot to guest

The hotel was overall a great stay. They had coffee and breakfast every morning with a variety of options. The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool area was clean. Would definitely stay again.
