Best location, enough parking space, friendly staff, so everything is OK for us.

Overall it is a nice hotel with great amenities (swimming pool, gym, spa). Good location and large parking (a must in this cute town). Unfortunately, because of Covid (or other excuse) the rooms were not cleaned daily in our 3 night stay and the spa was not open.

everything good except the breakfast buffet. It was not well organized and takes forever to get a cup of coffee.....staff in dinning room looks not knowing what they are doing.

A lovely hotel very close to Trouville harbour- literally 2 minutes walk. Also very close to the bridge to Deauville. Many restaurants very close by- easy walking distance and almost flat. The hotel is lovely with good clean facilities including games room and pool ( which we didnt go into). The room was superior but was very spacious and comfortable and had a little seating balcony outside. Only qualm was the price was quite high. However the area is an expensive area and this was par for that area- and it did have free car parking. But it still felt a bit pricey- booking earlier may have saved us a few pennies but we booked quite late. But one small free bottle of water on the first day only felt a bit tight on their overheads!

This is the 5th time we have used this hotel when in Trouville as it is very comfortable and normally lives up to its reputation. Regrettably on this occasion the wifi went down on 12/9 and was still unavailable at our departure on 13/9 and although I had spoken with the staff regarding this there appeared to be little or no effort being made to progress rectifying the problem. As this is a 4 star Best Western Hotel I would expect better.

The reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable, although the breakfast staff seemed rushed. While it has facilities such as pool and sauna, a pool table and bar it seemed to tick the boxes of a four-star hotel on paper but the overall experience didn’t quite measure up to other four-star hotels. The general ambiance was a bit drab and tired. There were many things that could be done to improve the sense of quality, such as recovering the pool table, replacing the wobbly balcony railings and dining chairs, and changing the rusting name sign at the entrance. It would have been nice too if the corridor lights came on when we left the room before we got halfway down the corridor, but apparently this can’t be fixed. Being 6’3” the shower in the eaves was challenging but the bedroom was clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel situated a short walk from the river, cafes and bars. Good parking. The streets approaching hotel are narrow made narrower by many parked cars. Complicated one way system which confused the sat nav! Overall experience of hotel very good with excellent breakfast.

Excellent hotel for a great weekend in a wonderful port of Trouville sur mer.

Good breakfast, location perfect. Spacious parking lot. Good service but room a bit dated. No air con, which is a minus.

We were very happy with the choice of this hotel. Parking available right outside. Clean, practical rooms with a little balcony. Good breakfast. Nice social areas both in-/outside and lots to do including a spa/training section, pool-tables and a well equipped play-room for the kids. The hotel is very centrally located with a short walk to the branch as well as both Trouville and Dauville including the many restaurants in those areas. Well recommended!

I enjoyed my stay in Normandy. Deauville is more beautiful than I expected and the morning market made for a lovely stroll. The hotel was satisfactory mainly as the price was too high for the quality (Paris was 30 percent cheaper and the paris hotel experience was far superior). Shared hotel area somewhat dated and dull. Breakfast room window dirty. Ladies working in breakfast room were friendly and efficient which helped. Breakfast food was ok.

Very spacious room, with a fantastic bathroom. This hotel is conveniently located and the service of the staff was very good. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer here.

Very nice hotel but you will need Sat Nav to find it easily ! Surprising that a four star hotel does not have air conditioning in the rooms. However rooms very spacious and comfortable beds etc. A nice place to stay, but no evening restaurant, breakfast available but quite expensive.

We booked for 4 nights, stayed one night, would not go back again. Hotel is situated in the back streets, on line the Hotel looks great, the Balcony's look great, we had to change because the balcony was a brick wall looking over a car park and roof tops.

Nice hotel in a good position within easy walk of restaurants and beach

A good location with plenty of Parking space close to the roundabout between Beauville & Trouville. We had a spacious room which had a great tv so we could watch a few dvds. Room was bright and spotlessly tidy. Staff were helpful when needed and there is a small swimming pool & pool table. This was a perfect location and peaceful. No Complaints at all

We were so pleased to have had the opportunity to stay with you. The location was within easy walking distance to the downtown area.

We stayed at Best Western Hostelliere du Vallon for two nights in June 2014. It is a neat, well furnished and relaxed hotel in the lovely seaside town of Trouville. There is free parking and the hotel is easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and the boardwalk (a pleasant walk). We also walked to the twin town of Deauville on the other side of the river - upmarket and very attractive. We had a lovely day trip along the coast to charming Honfleur and Etretat. Then only 60k to Caen to visit the Normandy beaches and memorials.

Quiet location yet still within walking distance of the town centre. Main reception both helpful and efficient. Hotel car park can become full in the early evening, so arrive early in the afternoon to guarantee a space. Bathrooms are spacious and modern. Wireless internet functional but a little slow - hotel was full!

Staff were quite surly, especially at breakfast. They reluctantly cooked more bacon and egg at 10 am but not very well, breakfast closed at 10.30. Scrambled egg was burned, bacon very poor quality to start with and served with a scowl not a smile, by all staff. The continental stuff was fine. Coffee machine did not work.

My wife and I first visited Trouville/Deauville in the summer of 1978 and were deeply impressed. We have been back many times since but this was the first time that we stayed so close to the centre of Trouville. This meant that, after our evening meal, we only had a short stroll back to the comfort of our hotel room. Most of our meals were good, but we had an outstanding sea food meal at 'Le Vapeur', the main course, the Raie, was just superb. Of course we also enjoyed walking on Trouville Beach and on the Boardwalk at Deauville. The Petit Dejeuner at the small cafe, Charlotte Corday, was something we both looked forward to every morning, really excellent. This will certainly not be our last visit to this beautiful and interesting part of Normandy.

Asked specifically for bath rather than shower, and as much peace and quiet as possible; very pleased on both counts, although bath too narrow for anyone who is not a stick insect. One drawback was room cleaning, which is not undertaken until breakfast has been served and cleared up, which translates into rooms being cleaned mid-afternoon. On our first day we returned after lunch to an unmade room; on second day we returned, again after lunch, to find room cleaning still in progress. After taking up with Reception twice, we reached agreement to have our room done before midday for the rest of our stay. A case of the hotel putting its needs ahead of the needs of the guests, but resolved. Spa, pool etc facilities need refurbishing, locker locks all broken for example. Probably would have used these facilities more if they had been up to scratch. All in all, probably not quite worth the money by about 10%, but not much choice in Trouville at this level.

Very central - a bit of a hidden gem. Breakfast too expensive!
