I am fortunate to have experienced ten sublime days of ultimate luxury at Brown's. This is a hotel for those who seek quiet and discreet elegance. Everyone makes you feel at home; you feel comfortably pampered with a perfect touch of elegance. Brown's in all spheres raises its performance to an art form.

From the moment you arrive at Brown’s and the doorman tells you“welcome home” you are treated as if you were a VIP A fine house.

This is an outstanding hotel. The location is ideal, and the level of service and attentiveness is superb.

Browns is by far the best hotel in London, i have stayed in nearly all of the best 5 star hotels. The attentiveness of every single one of the staff and the chic and elegant comforts makes it feel so very special !

I was eager to try Brown's for its storied history and excellent location. On the plus side, the restaurants (both Charlie's and the Drawing Rooms) were excellent, as was the concierge service. On the minus side, my room facing Dover Street was so noisy that I had to move because I couldn't sleep. There's a club there that features screaming, outdoor singing and the revving of engines late into the night--and that's during the week. I could still hear the din on the Albermarle side, but at least I managed to get some sleep. For £785 a night, I expect better. I also expect carpeting in the room, rather than plank floors more suited to a log cabin than a fine hotel.

Everything was perfect at Browns, from the staff, the room, location and unique history of the hotel, totally immaculate.

Great to be back in London and loved our first visit to Browns. Our rooms were great, enjoyed the bar for a nightcap and breakfast in Charlie’s was excellent.

It was our 29th Wedding anniversary and the hotel made every effort to make it special, they put flowers in the room for my wife and a free bottle of champagne, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly and polite 100 out of 10

This hotel is awesome! The history, updated decor, staff, bar and food were all fantastic. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff was extremely helpful with airport transfers, hire cars, directions and the like. The location is also perfect - steps from Buckingham Palace, Mayfair shopping and parks. Highly recommend!

The room was freezing and I had to keep the electric heater on all the time, and there was a weird sound in the room as well coming from the wall like a ticking sound. Breakfast was nice and the staff very nice

Impeccable service throughout; attentive, yet not intrusive. Our room was bright, tastefully furnished, spacious and comfortable. Attention to detail is discreet and unparalleled. One senses members of staff been carefully selected and trained and have been empowered to ensure the guest has the best possible experience. The reception staff, concierge and porters were remarkably professional - efficient, intuitive and absolutely charming. Room service breakfast [and delivery] was exceptional (including the gluten-free toast which was delicious (invariably awful worldwide)). Lunch in the hotel dining room was perfect. The hotel car is a welcome addition and takes the pain out of rushed local expeditions. We very much look forward to our next visit.

Annual visit always excellent - central, homely and stylish - a classic.

It was a quick trip and recommended by a colleague. It was locationally perfect for shopping or eating and visiting some pubs. The service was impeccable, everyone was always wearing a smile and greeting you by name. I also had the gnocchi late at night from my jetlag and it was so delicious. I also made a small request for a change on the menu and the chef was more than accommodating! Top notch service, I hope to stay again but for a longer time!

I have the worst experience ever in my life. I have paid >>> GBP per night total of >>>> GBP. The hotel booked me room number 127. The room was so tiny and I was struggling with my bag and it was very noisy. At five o'clock in the morning, my first night, I woke up panicked on something dropped next door. I went out side the room to check the matter, two hotel staff were laughing about it and barely speak English to explain to me the reason of the sound. I couldn't go back to sleep all morning. In few hours, I went to the front desk to complain, I was told that the hotel is fully booked and no extra rooms are available, but the front desk said he will check availability and inform me, this never happened. I had an English friend who booked that night (his name is A. AJ.), they provided him a suit in an amount less that the amount I paid. Next morning the same noise carried on from 5 am until 7 am. I went to check the noise and I found that the room was exactly next to a storage room!!!!!!. Again, I went to the from desk to complain (for the second time no manager was available) and he said to me : "this is the problem when you book through websites, you will always get the worst rooms in the hotel". I was so friendly with him and I explained that I couldn't sleep from the noise and almost begged him to change my room. finally i was shifted to room 318. The Window was facing a wall (my view). The tub was blocked and I couldn't have shower properly.

I have stayed here several times. Quality now at highest. Hix restaurant is excellent.

Great location, service and facilities - not much else you could ask for in Central London / Mayfair. A return visit for us and well worth it - we will be back.
