It was great!

I really dont understand peoples high praise of this place. Its sad when places cant fix things properly to make it look like you at least care about your business. All kinds of stains on the shower curtains. Place is old and dingy. For breakfast!!! No jelly, no cream cheese. Have people standing sround looking for condiments only to say you are out. Really! Couldnt get off your phones ALL night the night before to make sure your guests have the ALL the offerings you say you provide? Definitely will not be staying here again.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and freshly updated. Service was very good at check in. We didn’t stay long due to the OVERWHELMING scent added to the interior of the hotel. Febreeze type scent PUMPED into the hallway made it impossible for us to do more than spend the night. We opened the window to lessen the scent in the room. Breakfast was basic. We left early in the morning.

My checking took a while although the person was very nice. The carpets in the hallway and my room smelled of mildew.

It was okay overall. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. My room didn’t have a knob to hook the slider too which made me feel a bit uncomfortable since I was a solo female traveler. Bathroom curtain was yucky mold, and there was paint peeling from the bathroom door. No blackout shades just the light thin ones. Bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep and get back on the road.

We made a last minute decision to stay here as our other lodging plans fell through. The check in process was very quick and painless. There are several doors throughout the building that lead to the parking lot. I appreciated this as we had a lot of luggage and it was easy to get to our room. As soon as you get into the building there is an overwhelming smell of air freshener that just smells like public toilet air freshener. It's very strong and anyone with a sensitive nose might find it intolerable. The room was very tight with two queen beds and it looked very tired and had a funny smell. We turned the AC on and it also had a pretty pungent smell. The bathroom was fine, a little rundown and stains in some places but it did the job. Overall an OK experience. If absolutely necessary I would stay again. They did offer free breakfast which is located near the check in desk but I did not have any as I had other breakfast plans in the area.

It was ok. Very not clean. Dirty shower curtain. Handprint on the bathroom door, lots of tears in the carpet.

The place was nice but breakfast lowered the rating. Machines were out of order and the keurig coffee was like drinking hot water. No much fruit selection, no cream cheese for bagels. The place needs to do better to claim free breakfast.

The room was great and very convenient to downtown Freeport. Loved the shower! My only complaint was that breakfast was served til 10:00, but arriving at 8:30 one day and 9:00 another, there was no hot food available (ie. eggs, bacon, sausage-the containers were all empty and no attendant to fill in). There was adequate cereal and cold eggs, but it would have been nice to have hot food options. Other than that it was a nice stay!

Was not very clean and no follow up at the breakfast buffet. Missing food.

Everything was great except they didn't clean our room one night (we put the sign "maid service" sign on our door).

Room was barely passable but the bathroom could have used a match and a can of gas!!!! It was horrible!!! Mold in shower, dirty shower floor and the shower curtain needed to be thrown in the trash. Exterior of the buildings was good….interiors were not. Did not take advantage of the breakfast as I figured if they didn’t take care of the rooms, the food prep area was probably even worse. Extremely disappointing. It feels like we got taken.

The hotel is easily accessible off Route 295, and close to downtown Freeport and Portland. Price was reasonable. The buildings are fine, all one-story and handicap accessible. Plenty of parking. However, the office is NOT marked, and very difficult to find in the dark. The overgrown/dying grass and shrubs around the buildings were very disconcerting (although we have had a long bout of very dry weather). The room was incredibly clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Towels were rough, although pretty much standard hotel quality. The shower pressure and warm water were super. That said, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach in the room.That was not so pleasant. Breakfast was included, but I chose to sleep longer. All in all, I would stay again.

Good prices, great breakfast, one floor building - no stairs, good parking, and convenient location.

Toilet paper holder missing the bar so it was just there and if you tried to unroll it, it fell to floor. Nothing to step out of the shower with wet feet except directly on tile, a real slip hazard. Not even an extra towel or hand towel to put down. Most egregious was the smell which was I think coming from the vents. It was that awful smell when you don’t change the air filter in the car. Horrible,! We got a good price for the one night which made it tolerable but I wouldn’t stay more than that.

The photos that you see on the site seem like the may have been when it was built….. that being said. The places was SKETCHY! People in and out all night. Cars pulling up and driving away. The whole hallway and room wreaked of pot every night . There was no breakfast like promised the first day as no one was refilling or taking care of that station. Run down would be an appropriate word I would use. Would not recommend for families. On the other hand the staff were amazing!!! It’s like someone built it and then walked away and the up keep was left to no one. All in all never will stay there again.

Our stay was just ok, the room was very musty. Breakfast was nowhere near ready at 7am which meant we had to buy on the road. Wouldn't go back.

Bed bugs!!!! I reported to hotel and left note a night early. I called 5 times after and never received a refund. I had a bad vibe as soon as I walked in. Check in Was not friendly and not allowed to 3 pm on the dot. Breakfast was terrible. I’m very disappointed with customer service after being covered with bed bug bites.

Friendly staff that was helpful, responsive and eager to please. Room was small but our stay was comfortable. The entire staff was delightful and the room was clean. Would recommend.

Hotel isn’t anything fancy! It was a little dated and run down but was the perfect spot to sleep for a couple nights. We loved that we could walk over the Main Brewing Company. The hotel was also centrally located close to Freeport downtown and a short drive to Portland. Staff was great at check-in, providing delicious dining recommendations

Very close to downtown Freeport. This was my second time staying at this location and it still smelled musty throughout the facility.

I had to go back to the lobby twice during my stay to get my room keys re-activated after being locked out. Check in process was lengthy. Found hairs in the shower and on sheets. Needed the space, wonderful it was dog friendly, but overall not the most comfortable experience.

My family and I did not have a good stay at this property. Between the worker who came into our room to check a dresser for who knows what to the cast of characters that were always lingering around the property, most smoking who knows what. The rooms are very cramped and not exciting. There was a Nissan car with Florida plates always moving parking spots with people in it that seemed off. My family did not enjoy their stay at this hotel or should say Motel and would not recommend it.

May take me a few days to recover from the worst mattress I've ever encountered in a hotel. Oh my aching back!! Supposed to be memory foam I guess but so soft and squishy you sank right into whatever was hard underneath. Awful experience. Avoid this place.

The hotel has a very strong chemical smell - not sure what other smells are trying to be masked. Rooms are not clean - shower curtain is slimy, curtains are dirty and furniture is ready for the landfill. We we supposed to stay on return through Freeport but cancelled and will never return to this property.
