Chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Pantheon and museum. The added benefit are multiple restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel is modern, well run, with a friendly staff. A real find.

I really can’t say enough great things about the Herodion Hotel. Our room was very nice with a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The location is perfect - on a quiet, tree-lined street near the Acropolis Museum. Easy walk to the Acropolis, Plakka, etc. The two restaurants are superb- and, don’t even get me started on the breakfast that’s included with your stay. It’s better than any restaurant you’d seek out for breakfast. We stayed 3 nights before leaving to island hop. We stayed at the Electra Hotel on Ermou for our last two nights in Athens and regretted it - loud and outdated. Wish we had come back to the Herodion! Next time.

Amazing staff nice location clean and quiet

Property is good but since Im “platinum” memeber from expedia never received benefits that this status offer. No Upgrades, no early check in, no late check out, nothing.

The hotel is well located within walking distance of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. The staff were helpful and attentive.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's visiting Athens. This is a nice and comfortable luxury boutique hotel with unbeatable view from its rooftop restaurant. Although all of the staff members are really friendly, I want to give a special shout-out to Mrs.T who works at the front desk/reception. We took a taxi ride from Piraeus port to the hotel and the taxi driver asked for €45 instead of the regular price of about €15, with no receipt provided. Mrs.T rushed out and confronted that taxi driver for us after she learned about what happened. The taxi driver gave it up and left eventually, all thanks to Mrs. T's help. We would definitely remember those nice and kind ppl from Athens like Mrs. T, who made travelling more memorable for us.
