Beautiful setting. Breakfast very good, too bad could not sit outside due to bothersome bees. Room was spacious, great view of Cortona and valley. Only negative was a walk uphill to room from parking/ restaurant (tough on a full stomach!) Glad in good enough shape to able to do it.

Just a dream. Perfect location, nice people, gorgeous views, lovely spa treatments. The Michellin star restaurant from the hotel is amazing, it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience!!! We will be back!!!

The property is amazing, with view of Cortona on the hillside and the Tuscan countryside down below. The cooking class with Sylvie was fantastic and recommended. I thought the price was a little high, but after the full experience with dinner, we felt it was a bargain. We would do it again.

This was one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed at and the service level was impeccable. I could not say more about the entire experience. The service was superior and the staff went over and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and also assisted in making changes to excursions when our timetables were tight. Riccarrdo and Sylvia Barracchi, property owners, top vinter and Michelin chef, respectively, made our stay extra special. We will definitely return and recommend this property without hesitation.

My husband and I spent the second half of our honeymoon at Il Falconiere. When we arrived our jaws dropped at both the location, the gardens, and our room. The staff was always willing to help in any way possible and so friendly. We couldn't get over how gorgeous the views and amenities were in every way. We can't wait for our next trip back! So impressed.

Absolutely everything was beyond outstanding! We also took a cooking class with the famous (Michelin-starred) Sylvia, which was excellent!

We were blown away by the location and the view of this hotel. We really enjoyed our dinner at the hotel, it was amazing. Food was good and the restaurant was very cozy. We were sitting outdoor enjoying the view and sunset. We fell in love with our junior suite. Unfortunately during our stay the air conditioning in our room was not working properly. The staff tried to fix it on the first night but it wasn’t fixed. They called technician on our last night. Our room still felt hot.

Rooms were very dark some of the lights didn’t work. The facility is worn down. They do not go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. This is not a five star property.

I like this top end hotel, almost a resort. It comes across as a stylish conversion of several smallish older buildings, with traditional Italian furnishings in the rooms, a relaxed feel to the outside sitting areas and a lovely view across the plain. The estate supplies wine & olive oil and the quality of the food in the restaurant is second to none. The owner made a point of welcoming us & the family involvement seems to ensure that everyone in the contingent is well briefed, attentive but never intrusive or overbearing. I hope I shall be able to visit again one day.

Beautiful place to stay tucked away in the hills. A real sense of getting away from it all. Great breakfast. Service and staff could not be better. Buildings are so full of character and the spa is amazing. Wifi is a little bit fickle but other than that really excellent.

The hotel is everything we were told that it would be. Recommended by a friend, we stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The Michelin star restaurant was amazing.Room rate included breakfast, which was the best we had during our nearly 5 weeks in Italy.
