Liked the pools, beach etc.

Great place

Really great quality and price was fair, not extreme for what we got. Brilliant staff everywhere. Main buffet restaurant variety and quality was really high, every bar and snack booth brilliant too. Finish, cleanliness and quality of furnishings all top notch too. The restaurant reservation system is *ridiculous* and risks killing the whole experience if it’s something you care about. Water park is not really “teen level” - it’s not huge but it’s ok.

Amazing Resort and Amazing Friendly Staff

We stayed as two groups ,the hotel staff we re all very pleasant and helpful. The cocktail bar was a lovely place to chill .We tried all of the restaurants and found The Alasti fish restaurant to be the best food followed by the Pithos,the food was good in all of them .Our ions were spacious cean and well equiped.My only negative is that there are apparently 10 pools plus 5 for children,however we couldn t find one without children even the relax pool was noisy.I m quite happy with children but there was no pool to chill in .

This hotel is not new, but still good. There are a lot of rooms on the street side that are very noisy. If you get these rooms you have to be lucky to change them. I wasted half a day changing our room as we couldn't sleep. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good and the beach is nice only take care of big stones in this sea area. one negative point is that there are not enough places by the main pool and the staff collect all the guests' things if they find them on the beds early in the morning. Guests get confused and start fighting with each other because of the lack of space and can't relax. A clear rule with a visible sign at the pool will help to avoid this problem. Kids' club and restaurants had to be pre-booked through the hotel's special app and were mostly not free. The evening entertainment was not very interesting, especially for adults (personal rating only).

Beautiful location and village type setting

We searched many All Inclusive resorts across the Greek islands and so glad we settled on the Creta Maris. From reading previous reviews we thought the hotel would be nice, however it exceeded all our expectations. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The resort was amazing, spotlessly clean with beautiful grounds. There was an excellent choice of restaurants offering a fine dining experience with great value for money! We will absolutely be returning, thank you Creta Maris!

One word Amazing. From welcome to departure staff was eager to do any thing for us. From room to food it was awsome. We will plan to visi Creta Maris next year.

Excellent property, clean, A LOT of food options, drinks, etc. Big, comfortable suites. There are a lot fo activities on site so you never have to leave, but if you do want to explore, Hersonissos port and town are within a short waling distance. The only negatives are that the dining staff sometimes was not very nice and we felt like we inconvenienced them if we came in towards the end of the meal times. Service was slow at times, which is understandable given the huge number of people that were being served at one time. Cleaning staff was top notch, and there were many small touches that added up to a great experience - a letter from the manager upon arrival, wine, fruit and snacks in the room, handwritten notes from evening cleaning staff. All in all, a very nice resort with lots to offer.

Staff is above average, property is amazing, rooms need to be upgraded. Property is in an excellent location with great views and access to the private beach. Dining options are good, I would have said excellent but for the fact that I was booked for my first meal at a very mediocre restaurant ( which put me off ) However for the rest of my stay the restaurants there are very upscale and offer good quality food. With an all inclusive resort some of it’s policies are weird, like going out of the way to get cocktails, closing the facilities like the gym and other activities on Sunday, paying for specific drinks etc. The resort has easy access to many outdoor activities like bball, tennis, soccer, bouche ball and other games.

Lovely hotel, very well maintained, great amenities, wonderful service. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is HUGE - we walked so much from place to place that we need a couple days’ rest to recover from all the walking.

Everything is great. The SPA service also was great. If you are looking cheaper one. There is a nice SPA place just a couple of minutes walk distance!

It must’ve been the first day that the resort was open because it was really quiet, not a lot of people and a lot of open space. Resort is gorgeous, and I was traveling alone! The food at the resort was spectacular.

We went for 5 nights and had an amazing time. Great variety for food/drinks. All inclusive package was definitely worth it.

We had a lovely 10 days there, but I will say the soft drinks in the buffet didn’t taste very good, the food was great with lots of choice. Otherwise the hotel was great. They also let us keep both our rooms late on our last day free of charge.

I recently stayed in the suite, and I would like to provide some feedback on my experience. While the room had some positive aspects, there were a couple of notable issues that left me feeling less than satisfied. Firstly, the cleanliness of the room was not up to the standard I expected. There were areas that were not adequately cleaned, which was disappointing. This aspect of my stay could have been significantly improved. Additionally, the master bed was not very comfortable for sleeping. A good night's sleep is crucial when staying in a hotel, and unfortunately, the bed did not provide the comfort I had hoped for. This made my stay less enjoyable overall. In sum, my experience in the suite was not as satisfactory as I had anticipated. Addressing the cleanliness issues and improving the quality of the bedding would go a long way in enhancing the overall guest experience.

Beautiful, very clean kept resort. Great beach and 7 fantastic pools. We didn't travel with kids but seems to be very family friendly and entertainment for kids are plenty. Friendly pleasant staff. Originally we were offer room at the more busy area with water park and kids entertainment place. After few questions to our greeting person Alexandros, he change our room to more quite area with beautiful sea view (many thanks) Decent food choices in every restaurant, and whichever choice we made for buffet or a'lacarte restaurant food was in excellent quality. Unfortunately slightly disappointing were bars. Very narrow cocktails choices and most of the brand spirits are for extra fees or completely unavailable(unheard-of in 5 star very expensive all inclusive resorts at the Caribbean or Asia) bartenders operating at the slow speed. Most of the times need to wait 15 or more minutes to get some drink at the pool areas (with one exception at the Steki bar, which has great service) . Now said that, overall it was very nice vacation time for us and we would definitely consider Creta Maris for next time we'll visit Crete.

We’ve stayed at this resort 2 years in a row. Each time was sublime. The staff are all so professional and friendly. The food was delicious and the service is amazing. The pools are outstanding and private beach is super clean! The detail that goes into running the resort is top notch. Reception staff are so helpful and housekeeps ensured the rooms were spotless and even managed to bring character and connection without being customer facing. We got engaged this year at the resort and we will re-visit again and again. The entertainment is 10/10 for adults and kids and the outdoor cinema was such a nice touch. The food courts and snacks bars were also amazing.We recommend Geri for employee of the month for excellent service over the course of our 10 day stay.He did such a good job and making us feel welcome and known.More staff who stood out during our stay were Zambia in the buffet restaurant, she was so caring and friendly and always so happy to be of service. Harris at the adult bar was also super friendly and delivered great service every time. Manos who was based at the gyros bar during our stay was so welcome and accommodating. And George who was a waiter at multiple restaurants had a really good engagement with all the customers and was really approachable. The views across the resort are jaw dropping every time and we recommend this resort as an absolute must visit. Not too far from the airport either. And the decor was beautiful throughout! We will be back! :)

Fantastic service, fantastic food (and so much of it!). My first all inclusive experience and it was extremely positive.

Fantastic hotel with great facilities. Only thing to improve, which was minor, was cleaning forgot to give new toiletpaper. Stay was very pleasant and the food was fantastic.

I liked that it had alot of dining options, alot of activities and entertainment, a waterpark for kids and that it was newky renovated. I didn't like the beach much, very rocky on one side but sandy on the left side.

Beautiful resort only 30 min from airport. Great beach and pool areas. Food was really well prepared, and much variety. Staff was lovely, and always helpful. Loved it being all inclusive, well worth the price!
