Everything was good except the remote control. It wasn’t working for us… we had to wait until the ice maker in the fridge. It took a few hours. The hospitality and the cleaning folks were amazing

The rooms are okay, kind of remodeled. but when other customers cook in thier rooms at 10pm, The smell of onion and fried food getts in the hallway and skips into your room. We had 2 night problem with odor in our room that was unbearable. We had to put towel under the door to block the food smell entering the room. Even though the manager gave us 2 night refund but still that does not resolve the quality of this hotel.

Overall, It was a good but the rooms next to the building A/C systems made it very hard to open any windows to get fresh air because of such strenuous sound

Very friendly; spacious rooms

Good experience. Room was clean and nice. We got the king suite with the kitchen. Only complaint is that the sofa was older and you just sink down in it.

The hallway carpet was very wrinkled like there had been a flood. The room was very small for a King size bed, there was no sitting area.

The worker who checked us in was being a little silly, but overall stay was really good. A friend and I went to see Ateez at the Colosseum, food in the area was good and I felt safe. Overall nice stay.

We were traveling with an autistic child who hadn’t slept the night before and the kind woman checking us in gave us a quiet corner room. Wonderful experience, will definitely be back!

They have a nice breakfast ! But if you stay longer they dont really change it . Staff very nice and helpfull.our room did have a smell of smoke when we come in . There is a train that pass behind so for those who are light sleeper like me it can be mad. Also just a suggestion for the hotel they should have better way to cover their window because the sun hora up on the side of the back of hotel so at 5:30 the room is already lightup with the sun light and in my case it was hard to sleep

Great Stay overall !

This hotel is very close to the Emeryville Amtrak station. Our train was 5 hours late arriving. Still, the check-in process was quick and easy. Breakfast the next morning was very good. One thing to be aware of is that after hours - such as when the train is late - the door closest to the station is locked. It is necessary to go around the building to the front door.

I was told this area was a nicer area adjacent to Oakland. Well, the hotel was old, carpets torn, coaches old and saggy. I would not stay here again. The free breakfast was sometimes cold, I don’t do many reviews, but this location should have had a cheaper rate. There is shopping in walking distance, but there is a lot of crime and cars being broken in to. Went to Alameda and it appears to be a nicer option.

Staff was wonderful. Carpet in hallways need to be replaced or stretched/ reinstalled. Very loose and is buckled everywhere. It's a tripping hazard that needs to be fixed. It's very conveniently located next to Amtrak if you can deal with a train HORN going sounding every few minutes. The pool was a big let down. This is a huge hotel and it has a tiny pool. Smaller than most in ground pools at residential houses. 7 people were in the pool, we did not join them because it would have been too crowded. Also the pool is just outside the hotel restaurant with lots of windows. So not much privacy at the pool. Room was spacious but it needs at least 1 comfortable chair for relaxing in the bedroom. Parking lot completely unkept full of dead plants / weeds.

Extremely noisy train right outside the window. Dirty hotel. Unhelpful staff. Overcharged for parking. Low quality breakfast. Problems from beginning til end. Avoid this place at all costs.

Breakfast room was very crowded and noisy. Food good but not peaceful to eat! Allow another 1/2 hour or more strictly enforce who can eat there!
