It was great except bed could be more comfortable. Also we could hear water through the walls quite loudly from the upstairs rooms.

Hotel staff contact was minimal but enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent! The breakfast meal attendant was also very helpful and outstanding. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The one and only frustration was the COLD pool and COLD inoperable hot tub. After a long day of travel we looked forward to the tub and pool. We checked in and front desk explained the location for breakfast and pool/hot tub location. Nothing was said that they were not working. We jumped in our suits and went to the pool and tub. EXTREMELY frustrated that they where both ice cold and hot tub inoperative.

Generally we got what we expected. It included breakfast and a pool which our kids loved. We had one problem, when the A/C would cycle off, there would be a loud dripping/thumping sound, much too loud to be just a drip. We could not sleep with this going on. It was room 214.

We had a wonderful time and loved the comfort. The bed was definitely better than the hotel we stayed in California, this one was not the same company. Loved this hotel and will definitely use this franchise again. Thank you for your service!! Excellent!!!

I have only one complaint and that is that the furniture in the room seemed old and worn. Otherwise, it met all my expectations and then some. They have the largest breakfast selection Ive ever seen, rooms come with mini fridge and microwave (another rarity), the pool was open 24 hours for adults, staff were incredibly friendly, and they were the only hotel in newport to offer a room that had the bed in a seperate bedroom with a closable door (helpful when you have someone who snores loudly). Oh and also being 3 minutes from the Aquarium was awesome. Would absolutely stay here again!

The room was "well used "and could use a good cleaning and some paint. In general not at all as nice as other LaQuintas we have stayed at.

Our room was beautiful and clean. Had all the amenities plus a juccuzi tub in our room. It was exactly what we wanted and we will definitely be doing it again. Breakfast was great as well

The hot tub which I was hoping to use because of my physical ailments (one of the 3 keys in selecting a hotel) was not working. Also, our room's TVs are old and the TV channel guide did not match what was on the channels so it was very frustrating as I was trying to rest in my bed because of my pains....and of course no hot tub treatment was available

Very accommodating check in, host was pleasant and cheerful. Our room was clean, my only complaint was kids running up and down the hall and people standing in the hall about 11:00 pm talking. The breakfast was awesome, and all the people working at the place was friendly and talked to us. Thank you!

Hotel is OK. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet at night. La Quinta has a new junk fee that you should know about— if you arrive early and your room is ready, they will charge you $40 to enter your room before their check-in time. La Quinta has set their check-in time as 4:00 pm, later than the common 3:00 pm, perhaps to push clients into paying their fee. Every other hotel I’ve ever stayed in was happy to check us in if the room was ready. So we sat, waiting, knowing that our room was ready but unwilling to be nickel-and-dimed (if you think of $40 as “nickel-and-dimed.”). The desk employee tried various ways to get the La Quinta computers to accept us, he is a nice guy, but corporate greed mainly won out. Probably won’t stay here again.

I am a grandmother traveling alone with an autistic child. The desk staff immediately saw this and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we need. He was so kind and caring!

We booked this stay for the hot tub. I have a medical condition that the hot tub helps with. I called and was told hot tub works, so paid a extra 120.00 dollars only to be told hot tubs not working, it is a amenity you dont pay for amenities. I beg your pardon you most certainly do pay extra for amenities. Also children running and laughing in the hallways notified front desk. Nothing done about it. Screaming kids in pool in hallways and at breakfast. The girl working the breakfast did a good job restocking and cleaning so we did tip her. Will not be back if thats how you treat customers. Front desk offered to ca cel our reservation on a prepaid non refundable room, on a holiday weekend, but we had to decline since all the hotels around where no vacancy.

Great location and staff. Just jump on the bridge and you have access to everything in Newport. It is one of those places where they constantly put stuff out in the lobby for visitors and they really do a good job with breakfast. Clean, quiet rooms with good AC and blackout blinds. It’s a win.

My fiancé and I loved our stay here! We booked a room with a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace and it was wonderful! Our room was nice and clean. The pool was a lot of fun! The hotel was also within walking distance of multiple restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again!
