Elizabeth at the front desk was absolutely amazing! She was helpful with everything I needed. We were there for my Sons graduation from Parris Island for the Marines! She was wonderful!!

We booked the room for two nights. The room was not cleaned at all. The floor wasn't vacuumed, the bathroom was disgusting and found roaches. We arrived late so had no choice but to stay the night. The next day we talked to the person behind the desk and told them. They seemed like it wasn't a surprise. I said that I wanted to cancel the next night and explained why and she said she couldn't do anything about it, then I asked to speak or the phone number of the manager and she would not. I am still trying to get a refund for the one night. I would NOT stay there!

The hotel was very dirty. A cockroach came out of the tissue box. I didn't know I booked a smoking room and it pure stunk like cigarette smoke. The hotel gave us some spray to use, again gross! My family left the next day and stayed some where else.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I can’t rate the staff’s friendliness as we had to check in through a tiny window and then never saw anyone again. The “breakfast” is pathetic; cold cereal, about 4 (total) mini muffins and a few apples. That was it.

Hotel was dirty stains all on the sheets and roach in room as well as in bed. Lady at desk was rude asked for more towels and wash clothes got towels and was told she wasn’t walking to laundry room to get more wash clothes right now. Breakfast was donut and muffin from Walmart. Horrible family’s coming to see kids graduation from boot camp would have to stay in such filthy place.

Room was dirty and fou d 2 roach. They dont clean behind any of the furniture. Eds were uncomfortable.

Compare to my home it is NOT a place to take my child not for me to stay

Front desk woman was not polite. No breakfast was provided aside from bagged donuts one thing of coffee and they stated by their standards that’s all they need to provide

The beds and pillows were very nice. Slept very well.

Bed and pillow were incredibly comfortable. Quiet. After a very long drive to attend graduation of our marine, we got a very good night's sleep.

The property was dirty. The restroom is stinky, and there was a lot of cockroach on the bed It smell awful. They didn’t give you enough toilet paper the facility that was not good. If you have another hotels another options take it

Horrible staff!! Made me give a $100 cash deposit after paying for the room, when I tried to check out I was told that my deposit disappeared! I had to call the police to get my deposit back before I can leave!

Clean room the beds where comfortable

The Hotel is located about14 miles from MCRD Paris Island. This is the ONLY good thing about this hotel. If you have any choice at all, go somewhere else. The property is old and in need of updating and cleaning. The electrical outlets where worn out and would not hold anything that was plugged in to them. The mattress were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom had built up dirt and staining in the corners and along the walls. The shower chair was missing in the ADA complaint room. The breakfast consisted of a communal box of cereal and a shared gallon of milk. Just spend the extra couple of bucks and keep your wife happy, thank me later.

Nice clean rooms and great price!

Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. The pool was also enjoyable and clean.. The location is perfect because it is close to lot of stores and restaurants. Only complaint I have is about the coffee for breakfast is lukewarm and not hot But they do have a microwave to make it hotter. I did enjoy my stay and the staff was very nice

My experience was what was expected from a motel. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The pool was open and clean surrounding area. I was only there for one night for my son military graduation. It served it's purpose.

There was roaches in the room and the smell was horrible

this is a motel, so if you're looking for anything special you won't find it here. the staff is abrasive and condescending, when trying to ascertain why a manager came to my room i was given all types of false reasons and was charged for smoking in the room and i do not smoke. i asked them to check security footage so they could see my brother inlaw smoking outside on the walkway, but they still charged me.

The stay was overall gŕeat. Honestly felt sketchy checking in. Anybody who travels sjould know motel 8 type stays. Staff were informative and insightful giving local info. My daughter is now a marine so I was there for HER PARRIS ISLAND GRADUATION. The proximity and location were awesome for my trip even to downtown beaufort sc which was nice and friendly by my experience, as they started their 10 day water festival.

Traveled with my 2 boys and loved the option for 3 beds in 1 room.

Staff was rude and were not attentive at check in room was disgusting. Dirty towels left in bathroom . Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

I definitely would not recommend staying here. I made reservations for a room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived we were given a room with 2 full size beds. Breakfast options were very limited it was cereal or little miniature muffins. Also, we were told the pool was open upon making reservations. When I asked about it due to the sign saying it was closed I was given the run around and could not let my kids swim because they said it was supposed to rain then I was told it was because they had just put chemicals in it. I would highly recommend getting a different staff at this hotel because they were rude and will not tell you the truth.

Property was ok but i got there and was trash in my room and bathroom was dirty,

The first thing I saw when I walked into the room was a dirty rag and a Windex bottle left on the table. Apparently the cleaning service must have forgotten they're cleaning supplies in the room. Next was cigarette holes in the duvet and the blanket. The walls looked dirty and dusty. The bed frames were metal and made clunking noises when you moved and the refrigerator had a rusty drep pan underneath it, that was gross. And the last thing that really made me absolutely disgusted was a roach crawling around the table when we had our food on the table. I stayed there with my boyfriend for 4 days, while I was attending a work seminar he was not able to go to the pool because the pool was closed the entire time. When I asked them about the pool, they said it was due to rain. It only rain the first day, the rest of the time it was sunny and hot. If it wasn't for me having to be there for my seminar, I would have checked out the same day. The breakfast bar was a shame. There was coffee, mini muffins and milk for cereal. Not even hot water for tea drinkers.

I was expecting a basic, no-frills hotel room. That is what I got, for the most part. The room was clean for the most part but seemed old and shabby and it didn't have a coffee maker. The part I really didn't expect was how noise travels from one room to the next. One night I heard my neighbor's TV. Another night...at 3AM I was woken by a very spirited conversation between 5 or 6 people next door. Despite how convenient it is to Parris Island and Beaufort I would not stay again.

We were 12 hrs away from home at the Marine graduation in a totally new place to us, the staff was amazing and so very accommodating. Would definitely recommend them.

The room was not clean enough, no maid service. The "Superstar" breakfast was pitiful. Cereal, tiny muffins only but thankfully apples. The room smelled like old smoking stink. Bathroom fan either didn't work or was non-existent.

Towels were small. staff came into our room, picked up dirty towels but never made the bed or cleaned up. The other room we had they did clean up. Set food on a plate went to restroom and when i got back my food was covered in ants....My dinner was lost. Had a sign at counter that said if you are smoking weed or cooking meth you will lose your deposit. That was a little scary.

Convenient location

Last week my wife and I took a mini vacation in beautiful Beaufort, SC. We booked our stay at the Super 8 hotel located in Port Royal, SC. We were in and out quite a bit during that time. On Saturday 6/8/24 we returned to the room to find that my wife's cosmetic bag was missing. We immediately contacted staff, and management. They claim that only one person had entered the room during our absent (cleaning staff). They determined this by the outside camera system that they told us they had installed. It was around $300 worth of items in the bag. The bottom line is, that no one on their staff had an explanation of how the bag disappeared. We are not implying that the bag was taken on purpose. We are merely stating a fact. That the bag was there on the counter in the bathroom when we left that morning. And had disappeared when we returned to the room that evening. Our personal opinion is that we will never stay at that location of the Super 8 hotel again.
