Please get double beds. Also sound proofing would be better as we could hear people turning their lights on. We love the hotel and staff but those improvements would make us come back for a 4th time.

Had a sea view balcony room but was a little small so upgraded to a beautiful suite. Staff excellent and location fantastic

Beautiful location and lovely place to stay. Just two minor gripes - 1. only option to eat after 1830 is in the fine dining restaurant, which isn’t really suitable for families 2. Sofa bed in the apartments could do with upgrading (my back’s not in a good way). Wouldn’t stop us going back though as the hotel is a lovely relaxing place to spend your time and well positioned for a short walk to the restaurants at the port, whilst being far enough away to be isolated from the hustle, bustle and noise.

Brilliant stay. Ordered cycles from company recommended by the hotel . Staff excellent couldn’t do enough for you. Will be staying again.

Very enjoyable 4 days. The warm and sunny weather meant that we could enjoy our sea view terrace to the full. As ever the service was excellent and the breakfast is copious and delicious.

Eduardo was efficient and very welcoming at check-in. Breakfast service (tea/coffee) was very slow but the offering and selection was excellent!

Great hotel, have stayed several times, but never get the Expedia Gold Membership VIP offers as stated at the time of booking.

Stayed in apartments, couldn't fault it, staff fantastic, BA cancelled flight home staff sorted extra night and courtesy room for later showers etc no issues. Breakfast absolutely superb, omelette lady is a wizard with the eggs. Back soon as we can.

Check in - the receptionist was disinterested, told us the bare minimum, no upgrade or vip options offered (even though these were advertised on Expedia). No refreshments offered. No help with luggage. No offer to store our golf clubs in the storage room downstairs (until the 2nd or 3rd day when we were coming back from a golf trip). Room - Room on 3rd floor, at the back of the hotel very small - it was the one we’d booked, but having stayed at other luxury accommodation we were still slightly surprised at quite how small it was. No full length hanging space in the wardrobe, no space to store our empty luggage and the bathroom was basically a small shower room. The room was boiling hot when we entered as the air conditioning hadn’t been switched on ready for us. Swimming pools - pool area was clean and tidy and pool was clean and a good temperature, but not enough sun beds for all guests. The sun beds in front of the hotel overlooking the bay are all ‘reserved’ with towels by 8am and the small pool at the side of the hotel doesn’t get any sun until after noon (in September) and gets no air/breeze so is terribly hot. Overall feeling about the hotel is that on the surface it looks beautiful but sadly we were somewhat underwhelmed by it. We have stayed at a number of luxury/boutique hotels and this just missed the mark, which is a shame as I expect that for their ‘regular’ customers they go the extra mile.

Location perfect. Quiet lovely views and pine walks. Hotel clean and safe. Room allocated tiny twin, which should have been a double, at back of hotel with view of huge extractor and noisy air con unit. Outside door cleaning cupboard door always open. Didn’t ask to move as only stayed one night. Reception rude and unhelpful on arrival. Eve food on restaurant terrace and breakfast was excellent. Service very good. But bar food and drinks were dreadful. Salads very dry and club sandwich soggy. Cocktail worst I’ve ever had. However the location and view was gorgeous. Hotel ok for a short break but wouldn’t personally stay for longer as the offering is inconsistent. Unfortunately it put me off using the spa.

Located in a quiet area of Pollença, this hotel is highly recommended. Great breakfast and hotel facilities - we can’t wait to return.

Rooms were outstanding- modern, stylish and very well equipped. Food excellent in main breakfast restaurant and La Terrassa. Lovely position at end of bay- quiet but accessible to main resort.

Our stay at Hotel Illa d’Or was great. Our view from balcony, morning breakfasts were all divine. We had issues with our AC unit not cooling the room down, they brought a tech immediately who explained that due to the high heat and surge on electricity it may take some time. The hotel is located along the pine walk which is a boardwalk along the sea which has numerous restaurants and shops. Our only qualm was with the jaccuzzi, sauna and steak room. Jaccuzzi was actually cold, and per their policy sauna and steam room need to be activated on request- which we did on 3 single events and did not occur. These were minor hiccups as the rest of our stay was enjoyable.

Fabulous location that allows you to move between the sea and the pool as you please. Excellent proactive service from all staff throughout our stay. Quality and cleanliness of rooms and facilities. Extensive breakfast buffet and excellent dining and drinking options throughout the day.

The problem with this property was the lack of value for money. The room size is disappointing for 600 euros per night. There was no complimentary water in the room, bathroom accessories and towels poor quality. The restaurant was fully booked for 4 nights after we requested a table yet the need to book was not advised at check in. The TV room had a persistent bad smell ( very similar to urine) - the staff were made aware and seemed to be trying to find out what was causing it. Given the room was required to watch Wimbledon it was most unpleasant. Many guests were complaining about poor service, there were simply not enough of them at busy times. On the positive side: the staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfast food and range was excellent and the location of the hotel is very good. Sadly the overall experience was not worth the cost.
