This hotel offered a great price. It was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and included hot foods such as omlettes, eggs, turkey & pork sausage, as well as cereals, pastries, yogurt and there was always enough. The hotel is only about 20 min from the coolest place ever to hike and enjoy the outdoors - Hocking Hills State Park. There are several great restaurants and coffee shops near by. I definitely will stay there again!

Hotel was clean for the most part. The floor under beds wasn't. I dropped something small and had to get down with a flashlight to find it. What I also found was a lot of dirt and crumbs that a vacuum should have picked. Didn't look like one was used. The rest of the room was fine and the bed was comfortable. I only stayed one night.

Convenient location for visiting Hocking Hills. Excellent barbecue restaurant next-door complete with patio dining for your canine friend. Breakfast was very good especially enjoyed the cheese omelettes. Our only negative surprise was a $50 deposit for our dog that we were not aware of.

This is a clean property with nice rooms. My issue is that I paid over $1600 for two rooms, for two nights, because of a visit to OU for family weekend. I understand that all the local hotels jack up their prices in order to gouge travelers. What I don’t understand is why I received a notice saying there would be no housekeeping because they are understaffed. Paying $400/night per room should include housekeeping. Also, my room shower was not working and my room had to be changed as I was told they also do not have maintenance staff working on weekends. If you want to charge three time your normal amount for a stay, at least match that with the staff to properly accommodate your guests.

The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was great every morning. The rooms were nice and clean. The only complaint I have is the floor squeaking above us as we were on the first floor.

Great Hotel, friendly and professional staff. The beds are on the soft side, but comfortable. The Gentleman tending the breakfast bar is wonderful and extremely service oriented. However, sometimes the room seems a little crowded at the peak of the morning.

The hotel has been completely remodeled since we were there a few years ago. It was nice then but is very nice now. Staff was very friendly. Close to all the parks and good restaurants.

Too expensive for room. We decided to walk down street for dinner since traffic was terrible. No sidewalks although I saw many people walking. I am a senior citizen and have problems with my feet. Plantar fascia. The walk on the uneven grass damaged my feet for the next day so we had to go home the next morning. Won't stay again.

Room and bathroom was not up to clean standard (although the bed appeared to be changed and fresh) - the bedroom mirror was dirty, as was the chair, and a\c vents, and windows. Behind the bathroom faucet was dirty. Who wants to brush their teeth in a dirty sink?

This was such a great place to stay. It was clean. It seemed to be a newer hotel. The entire staff was super helpful & friendly. The breakfast was good. The price was reasonable. We will definitely stay here again.

Excercise room in disrepair. Rooms clean enough but rest of facilities needed tended, same litter on floor in lobby and stairs for 3 days we stayed. Staff friendly and helpful.

my hotel experience was absolutely horrible. The hotel ran out of keys and I had to be escorted to my room for staff to open the door each time I wanted to go inside or I was told to leave my door open if I wanted to get back inside my room. Very insecure anyone able to give a room get in! Also they left eaten food inside the mini fridge.

Everything was 5 stars except you had to ring a bell to get front desk service, we were in and out many times throughout the day and night during our 3 night stay and without exception no one was at the front desk . I will say in their defense the front lobby was very hot and uncomfortable every day.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. The stairs were in bad shape, unfinished trim on the walls and the carpet was old, dirty and paint stained. Breakfast was ok, decent choice for a small hotel. Room rates should be cheaper, we only paid a bit more per night for our beautiful hotel in Rome.

We arrived to find pool out of service and NO ICE anywhere? Sign on elevator go to third floor for ice for everyone in hotel ! It was packed and guess where our room was 332 so we got to experience everyone coming in from hiking and being out all day to no pool no ice and by the time they went to 3floor for ice it didn’t work either!!! The girl at desk said she didn’t know how to get it working?

This property charged $152 on Sunday and$314.00 for Saturday. Very dirty, all ice machines broken, next to a dilapidated trailer park. Very overpriced. Holiday Inn Express is not what it once was

It was clean and the workers were very polite, however we had a difficult time getting clean towels, etc. Also a few times there were no towels at the pool.
