Lovely hotel in a lovely neighborhood of a lovely town!

Solid, clean, inexpensive, great location! If you are looking for an all around great spot to stay in Lucerne choose this hotel. It isn't super fancy or anything but it was a pleasure to stay there for 2 nights, especially considering the price compared to places one block closer to city center.

Very good location, room was pretty small for 2 people.

Location was within walking distance to the main bridge but was on a quite and lonely street with not much food options.

Nice hotel. Small room with an okay breakfast. Didn’t really eat much. It just didn’t taste good.

This is an old hotel that aspires to be vintage and classical, but in reality comes off as old and and updated. Pillows were terrible and bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was bad; cold food and limited options with bees sitting in all the jam. Would not stay here again.

This hotel falls well below expectations. It’s more of a motel than a hotel, and the experience was disappointing. The staff were extremely rude. The air conditioning unit is oddly placed at the entrance of the room, failing to cool the sleeping area near the bed, making it difficult to sleep during my two-night stay. The bathroom lights turn off automatically every two minutes, forcing you to stand up to reactivate them—even while using the toilet. The shower is poorly designed, with only a half glass partition, causing water to spill all over the bathroom unless you constantly adjust the faucet. I strongly advise against eating the breakfast. Bees were all over the food, and after eating, we suffered from food poisoning. If I could, I would share the photos I took to show the issues. I have pictures of bees sitting on the food. I can submit it if there is option

There was street and road construction so it was difficult to access. It was an older hotel that was clean and had a good breakfast and nice staff. Close to the old town. Offered parking for a charge.

Good location for a visit in 'die altstadt', near / walking distance, easy to find, has a compensation and good breakfast. Perfect for a one-day or longer stay.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area of Lucerne. The train station and buses are a short distance walk. There are many restaurants in the area. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable bedding.

The bed was great. Deep tub and good water pressure for the shower. The breakfast was great every morning. So easy to get to all the sights from this hotel. Would stay again.

Good location, close to the attractions.

On the positive, the hotel is very conveniently located. Walkable to many places and bus stop is right around the corner. Breakfast was really good and worth it. On the negative, the room felt very small for 3 people and AC ventilation isn't sufficient for the room. Use the fan in the room as supplement. Would probably still stay here if we are back in Luzern.

A 3* hotel, perhaps a little dated but (for Switzerland) reasonably priced with a good breakfast. Staff friendly and very attentive, particularly the younger guy who worked in the evenings who was very helpful.

Hotel was in a great location. Room lacked natural light. Lots of construction going on until 1 AM.

We enjoyed our stay. So happy to have a/c. Was within walking distance to the main part of town. Breakfast was good. Lots options. Good coffee station.

It was a great and effective solution for me and my family for our Easter break in Lucerne

It is a very confortable hotel

Very handy for walking through Lucerne, and good selection for breakfast in the morning. Room was pretty spacious although on the dark side with small windows and the decor slightly outdated (but clean so no issues there, just an observation). There were signs noting upgrades were being made but we didn’t notice any disturbance/ noise. Only downside for us Silas the shower had a tendency to switch randomly from hot to cold which wasn’t great.

Great location, easy walk from the railway station and close to everything. In a residential area, quiet location. Great room on the top floor with a view over the neighbouring houses. Good breakfast included with ok selection. Would stay again

The staff was exceedingly excellent! We arrived very early in from Chicago, exhausted… our rooms weren’t ready but housekeeping and the front desk were so accommodating. We wish were were staying more than one night, we were so comfortable and loved the location. So nice to be close walking distance to many sights.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon. Overall our stay was nice, but the hotel could definitely use some cosmetic updates. The bed was the only thing that was up to date. Everything else was like it was out of an 80s sitcom. And for two adults and two pieces of luggage, it was very cramped. We had to take turns opening our luggage to get things from it. Plus, the location was far removed from other attractions that we had hoped to be near in Lucerne. While this allowed for some peace and quiet at night, it made it difficult in terms of getting luggage to and from the train station or bus stops. Additionally, food options were limited in this area past 8:30 at night. So we had to walk 15 minutes each way to get to the main station area and get food. Overall, we would have opted to stay elsewhere in the city to be closer to attractions, transportation, shops, & restaurants. But it was a clean room and comfy bed for the night.

This hotel is only a short walk from the train station. Room was very large, clean, and had a good bed. The area was very quiet at night. Staff was very helpful.
