The place was beautiful and comfortable. We were greeted warmly by the front desk when checking in, their breakfast has many choices from fresh fruits to ham and cheese, they even has overnight oats and local made yogurt! The location of the hotel is also not far from the skiing location. We can even see a peek of Matterhorn from our room balcony.

The Hotel Daniela was a superb experience in Zermatt. The front desk staff and dining area staff were attentive and most welcoming. The room had a great comfortable bed and the bathroom and closet area and all other areas were perfect. I will most definitely recommend this property to my traveling friends.

The warmest welcome, the most beautiful balcony view, and helpful staff. After arriving on a whim and with no plans, we ended up taking the perfect advice from Julika. Train to Gronergrat, hiking, dinner at the Julen ( the best arugula soup!), finding the herd of sheep, and exploring town. Easily located, abundant breakfast options, cozy lobby, smart business branding, comfortable rooms, and a family story of grit and excellence. A stay to be remembered! Thank you!

This hotel is by far our favorite, the hotel clerk was amazing too talk to and gave us a bunch of information to go into zermatt and have fun! The spa and steam room and sauna are the best I have ever seen anywhere in the world. What a hidden and golden place this is. Breakfast is home style where you can tell they make it all from scratch and it’s like your momma made it at home, if she was really good at cooking anyway. 10/10 recommend to anyone traveling here to book this hotel.

Great cozy hotel. Awesome staff, wonderful breakfast and a relaxing spa. The details like the welcome board/map, flowers and a chocolate in the room were a nice touch. The free sweets and mini bar, also a nice touch. Great location and our room had view of the Matterhorn. Highly recommend this hotel.

This property is in a very convenient location with the Matterhorn Express, many restaurants and shops within walking distance. It’s about 10min walk from the Zermatt train station. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back for our next trip.

Great place for a quick stay to see Zermattt. Hotel us in excellent condition and well maintained property. Check in could have been better. If you don’t fill in the email behore then you have to do it online on a screen when you arrive. Someone ahead of us had not filled it ou, and neither did we do waiting for the guest ahead then for us to fill it out was a delay. Having a few screens available for use would speed this up. The nice lady at breakfast is wonderful and cheery. Breakfast is very good. Homey experience. The walk to the train station is about 10-15 min. In an area away from most businesses, close enough to walk to. The Mountain View is great of the Matterhorn.

This is a wonderful hotel: great breakfast and a five course exquisite dinner with menu changing daily. Very attentive and helpful staff! Amenities are renovated, with the wellness center being brand new and quite unique. Located in the center of Zermatt. We will definitely be back!

Nice property, incredibly nice staff! Our room was horribly small with no A/C. I know we were in the mountains, but it was warm and very uncomfortable without air circulation...but they did have a GREAT ice machine!!

Holy Cow!!! What a find! Really, I can't say enough good things about the hotel, the staff, and our stay. The room was excellent, beautifully equipped, and every want taken care of. Our mini fridge was stocked daily with soft drinks, water, and a couple of beers. Coffee in the room was excellent. The decor was contemporary mountain and beautiful. Helpfulness of the staff was unbelievable! I would have lost patience with me- but they were kind and knowledgeable. Breakfast was crazy!! Yummmmmm Yummmmmm Yummmm. Never have I ever had so much goodness at a hotel. The spa was like something out of a movie. We even rested in a hay bed. Sounds weird but I loved it. Cannot say enough good things about our stay. We will be talking about this for the rest of our lives. Really- that good!

Tremendous stay in Zermatt. Hotel Daniela exceeded our tough expectations. The hotel staff were amazing and the accommodations were excellent. The room was spacious, super clean, and our view was awesome. The entire staff was friendly and always helpful. We would recommend Hotel Daniela to all and will be back.

We had a fantastic three nights at the Hotel Daniela. The front staff were particularly wonderful and helpful with local tips on skiing, dinner reservations, and whatever else we needed. The hotel room is very comfortable with just the right amount of special touches, and the breakfast setup was ideal. We can't wait to come back next year!

Staff is super helpful and friendly. Free shuttle from train station, do not need to worry about many luggages. Complimentary drinks in fridge (many bottles). Laundry 9kg CHF 30 (clean and dry). Price reasonable as i dont need to go for self service at CHF 14 (clean 8, dry 6), save the hassle of travel with big packages

I cannot explain how incredible the staff at the Daniela are. Not only do they run a stunningly beautiful hotel, they themselves are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Thanks to their advice, my family and I changed our plans in Zermatt slightly and we were able to enjoy experiences that we would have missed otherwise. The rooms, cleanliness, location, etc are more than enough for this hotel to constantly get a 4+* rating, but the staff still go ahead and make it special. Finally, the custom scent throughout the hotel and it's toiletries is so good we ended up buying their fragrance for home! Already planning a trip back in winter. Thank you everyone at the Daniela!

The staff is very friendly and helpful They have a very nice breakfast bar. There are free drinks and chocolates in your room. I rented my electric mtn bike right at the hotel. The swimming pool, spa, and gym is down the block at their sister hotel. A group of Alpine horn players were playing out my window one night which made it a special memory.

Beautiful facilities, an terrific location/veiw of the Matterhorn. The on-site spa was a wonderful way to relax after exploring town and going up to Gornergrat. Staff were so very helpful, and breakfast was tasty and healthy! We loved our stay!!

Hotel staff are very friendly, they even proactively show you where to visit in Zermatt. With correct room, you see Matterhorn right from your room.

Gorgeous hotel in the picture perfect setting of snowy Zermatt. Boutique style so feels unique and luxury - standard of everything is excellent. Downstairs area is very welcoming and has a fireplace and lots of seating to relax in. Very close to everything when you want to go outside and explore. Loved it!

This is exactly the standard that other accommodations should look to in achieving a welcoming, cozy, clean, modern, luxurious- yet affordable- hotel. We were not ready to leave. The breakfast offering was beyond generous... With cereal, fresh fruits, yogurt, meats, cheese, pastries, jams, juice, coffee, and more.the room was spacious, had a beautiful balcony, was pristine condition. We felt like royalty and didn't want to leave!
