Amazing place to stay overlooking the hanging houses. The restaurant staff were very slow to acknowledge us. It took some time to be served with a drink and when we did get some food the next course came before we were ready. In contrast the breakfast staff were lovely

This is an amazing hotel, there is no other way to put it. The easiest check in I've ever had at a hotel too. They took a photocopy of my passport and handed me the key. Simple. The bar has a great menu and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend if you are visiting Cuenca.

It’s an old building, beautifully preserved, with excellent service, great food (enough for 2 vegetarians to survive), a wonderful breakfast, amazing views (though we did not have one from our lovely room) and a bridge to the old town. Cuenca is stunning. We truly enjoyed our stay. We spent 3 days, but could have stayed longer.

Great place. History, views, good restaurant.
Don’t be fooled by the pony-tailed guy operating outside the hotel trying to get you to park on the street: he’s not an employee and expects you to give him money. You can park in front of the hotel or drop your bags and get directions to use the hotel garage from the nice people in reception.

Excellent hotel very impressive. We booked this hotel as part of a overnight stay on a long trip. We wish that we had allowed for a longer stay. The views are amazing and the historical town is beautiful.
We are already planning to return to Spain next year and we will be included a long stay at the hotel so we can explore the area more.

Nice historic property with many changes of use over time: a convent and now a hotel !

The rooms in the convent were a little austere for my taste, but the property was beautiful with a fountain in the courtyard. The view of Cuenca was stunning and the bridge to the town was a very close. The restaurant was good and the common areas very pleasant.

Great property with old world characteristics. In the heart of the historic city. Food is excellent in both the bar and restaurant on the property. Getting around the historic city is just a short walk away. Requires crossing a bridge across the gorge to get to the remainder of the historic city, not for those who are afraid of heights.

This hotel is so nice and majestic. The personnel are very accommodating and the Waite staff are wonderful. Cons…1 waitress showed signs of a severe cold but was still serving and waiting on customers…definitely a turn off. Room was very comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Access to town was just a short walk over a very high narrow bridge so if you have a fear of heights just drive your car or take a taxi into old town. Beautiful city and relaxing people. Via España!!!

This is a beautiful parador. The surrounding area is very peaceful and calm. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast was excellent with many homemade options.

Very confusing for Parking & employees didn’t know how to explain correctly. Parked mistakenly miles away due to employee error..not fun

It is a beautiful place. The staff is excellent. I had my backpack stolen from our rental car prior to our stay and the staff was so kind and compassionate. Would recommend this wonderful place to everyone.

The property was gorgeous and very convenient to Cuenca. The only problem was parking! Be aware there is a garage as soon as you begin the uphill drive on your left. There is no way to turn around a large car

This is a fantastic building in a wonderful location. Good staff, attentive and cheerful.The only negative was noise - people talking below in the middle of the night and a bus parked outside our window with Japanese tourists. The bus started up soon after 8am and remained stationary for at least 20 minutes while 50-odd Japanese trundled their flight cases to the bus. Lesson: Don't take a room at the front of the building, particularly above parking for buses.

The property is beautiful and the location in great. But this hotel is way overpriced unless you get the view of the city. I did not and therefor I was very unhappy with how much I paid to stay there.

REAL NICE PLACE TO STAY AND SPEND A COUPLE OF DAY. VERY GOOD LOCATION, IN RELATION TO THE OLD CITY, WITH WALKING DISTANCE TO RESTAURANTS, MUSEUM AND OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST.

Perfect location to visit Cuenca and gorgeous and historic hotel. We loved the food served at the bar and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Fruit was fresh and pastries fresh and delicious. Staff was incredibly gracious and friendly. Five Stars!
