There was no security,gates d or cctv,we had our camper vans windows smashed and goods stolen at 3 am in the morning,due to the stress of this we all decided to leave the hotel in the middle of the night.when we arrived the hotel receptionist said it was a very safe area and did not need any security,.I would definitely not recommend this hotel due to no security

Everything about this hotel was good for us. Nice, quiet location; friendly, helpful staff; and the lake close by was ideal for an evening stroll. Recommended!

Great location, breakfast was good. Room was not great, bathroom door didn't close and decor wasn't good. Evening meal didn't look very appetising, walked across the road to Courpaille.

Great price. This is the ‘just right’ kind of place. The room is small, but clean and well organized. As the entrance is directly from outside, more like a motel, we were worried about the noise, as you can hear and see people passing by. But surprisingly everyone was quiet and mindful of others. The only thing hard to understand is why only two towels, one small and one a bit bigger, per room.

Stop off on journey south. Website said no food so pleasantly surprised to find restaurant open. Stayed many times because always clean dog friendly and easy walking quiet surroundings and excellent staff.

Perfect location if you are travelling with dogs as opposite a large wood and park. Can park right outside the room as well. Request ground floor rooms. Room itself is small but for the price is good. Has a kettle with tea & coffee

Stopover on way home to Blighty. Have been before. Nice quiet location with excellent dog walking nearby. Friendly staff and you don't have to go out to get a meal as the restaurant serves good wholesome evening meals and breakfasts. Room clean but the property is starting to look a bit tired. Don't let that put you off. ill continue to use this Campimile.

Spoiled only by the idiot in the next room watching tv until 2.00am!

Great hotel, staff speak multi languages, very clean friendly and convenient. Unfortunately since my first visit to this hotel years back the hotel has got quite popular and more expensive but still. Great hotel none the less, lake and forest for the dogs too

A reasonable hotel with restaurant on site. Staff provided secure hut for bikes. The room was small and was beginning to look 'tired' but overall we were happy with everything. We had the evening meal and breakfast. Both were satisfactory.

We stayed here for one night as a stopover from Toulouse. First impressions when you reach this hotel and the area are a little disappointing, with it looking very like Butlins in the 70's. Exterior paint peeling and bushes not clipped. Needs a little TLC. However receptionist was very pleasant. When getting to the room, it is more than adequate with a nice bathroom and comfy bed, coffee and TV. Restaurant food was good as was breakfast in the morning. Very much a budget hotel, but more than adequate for a one night stopover.

We particularly liked the food on offer (evening meal) made on the premises by a proper chef, the carvery was as good as any in a hotel chain and the chef was on hand to describe what he had cooked. Efficient waitress service and good atmosphere. The only downside to our stay was that there was little soundproofing so that at 6am the person upstairs woke us up by running a bath. After that most of the other customers started waking and walking about.
We would have happily paid more for a room that was quieter.

After spending an hour and half trying to find the hotel due to the wrong address on hotels .com we had to telephone hotel for directions the manager we spoke to gave us the correct address he was very helpful . On entering our room we had no pillowcases on pillows and the towels we had were only fit for cleaning rags they were very threadbare and had seen better days .

This was an overnight stop on the way back from Spain to Dieppe ferry. Very helpful staff and a nice room. Excellent bathroom & shower and comfortable beds. We felt it was good value for money.

The hotel is clean, safe, perfect for a stop off with dogs. There is a great wood 1min walk from hotel which is fantastic for morning runs before carrying on with your journey. Always a winner for me. And just 5mins from motorway yet so quiet. Perfect

Basic room with no frills; clean and quiet; good shower and bathroom facilities. Trundle bed for 3rd person made it very tight. But beds comfortable and we managed. Good Value. Would be fine for two people. Would visit again. Restaurant on site with a nice salad bar and dessert buffet. Good basic food. Nice amenity after a day of traveling. Breakfast not included.
