Excellent location across the street from the train station. Walking distance to many restaurants. Staf was very nice and helpful. Nice breakfast.

This place is in a great location, the rooms are quiet and clean and the staff very helpful BUT I had a late arrival which I had notified and there is a complex entry system at that stage involving your mobile phone etc. Well, it did not work for me - and I could have stood outside all night if it had not been for another guest arriving who had a push button code. The system then also could not find me in the self-service check in, and I had to ring security to get to my room. At 2 in the morning - when you have to be up for work by 7 - that's not great. If it had not been for that I would have given it 5 stars BUT access is pretty crucial.

We loved the hotel and would probably stay there again i were to return to Uppsala. The best location, great breakfast, kind staff. The rooms are a bit small, but good anyway.

Have stayed several times, in a variety of rooms. They are consistently vclean and comfortable, and the hotel itself is easy to access at all times. The breakfast is very good.

Very friendly in-charge front desk. Clean. Comfortable. Weird creaky- dragging sounds on the ceiling started early in the morning. I went up at last to investigate.... Aha! It's the breakfast room. OK. I guess people are rearranging the tables and chairs.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Svava. It's the first European hotel we've ever stayed in. We missed some of the comforts of U.S. hotels, like a mini refrigerator and abundant ice, but the room and bed were so very comfortable. The bathroom was small but efficiently laid out and the shower pressure was good. We liked the fact that the windows opened for fresh air. Please note that you will have to pay for parking and that the bar is very limited. But they do have a very nice coffee machine, with many choices like café latte and other hot drinks. The front desk is only open until 10:30 pm, so keep that in mind as well. Also, no washcloths and the soaps are on the wall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with a great little mall in the same building. There's a few cafes and a full grocery store in the mall, so you can find almost anything you need. Overall, we would stay here again.

I liked its situation. Very near bus and train station and town centre. Castle, cathedral and riverside restaurants all within short walking distance.

The staff is amazing

Included (buffet style) breakfast was wonderful!. Rooms are VERY SMALL. But I understand that is the norm in Europe, so if you understand that you won't be surprised. Hotel is at the edge of the (downtown) shopping district, so everything is walkable. And the train station is across the street.

Good location near the train station and walking distance to tourist locations. We had a nice stay, the breakfast was really nice. We used the parking garage, which is under the building and very convenient. The room was a little dated and they are only servicing upon request at this time.

It was a very nice hotel and at a reasonable price. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. The interior rooms on all floors are in a courtyard arrangement and look out over a grocery store at ground level. Because of this the windows do not open. This made for a stuffiness that the air conditioner could not remove. Opening the hallway door for a short period of time helped. Fans would be a nice compliment to the rooms that don’t have windows that open.

Well placed for access to the city centre and public transport. Clean, quiet and staffed by friendly, efficient people. Good choice at the breakfast buffet, to set you up for the day.

The hotel is near the centrl station, about 2 minutes to go and near the city center too, So easy to real all. I love to stay there,everbody was friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the second floor was yummy and you can choose a lot. I definately come back again

Arriving after midnight they have a system with a safe where you pick up key. To my surprise there's ws two keys - none with my name. Checked them both and neither one was for a room like the one i ordered. As there was no one in reception I brought it up in the morning. No apologies, instead they claimed that someone arriving after me had to take a key with my name on it!!!! Like amoung to keys I wouldn't see my own name??? They didn't acknowledge their mistake, nor offered any credits or anything. Left in anger .... really bad customer service

A good place to stay with a family. We stayed in a very good family room - Two bunk beds, a large double bed, sitting area, small desk, a bath and a shower. The hotel has a good location for exploring central Uppsala - a short walk from the castle, cathedral, museums and shopping areas. It was perfect for our long weekend in Uppsal.

Good location: in the city center and next to railway station. There are number of cafeterias and dining places in the area, as well as shops. Nice and cheerful personnel. Room (single room) is a bit small, but practically furnished. Tasty and pleasant breakfast.

Really quiet rooms. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Room was clean. Perfect for a night's stay before surprising my brother on his 40th. Convinent location close to the train station.

Location was excellent, very good room size compared with size of room at same price in Stockholm.
