Very poor build No sound proofing from neighbouring rooms

Nice hotel with a restaurant. Room was nice however the shower constantly leaked and kept switching between really hot and really cold.

Good location for airport access. The only issue is the room didn’t have a telephone to contact Front Desk or other uses. Two beds and TV location was odd… could only view from one bed. However, staff were fantastic. Pub on location was good with very nice menu options. Good stay👍

Third visit to the Bridge House. Always clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Excellent location for friends nearby.

Very helpful staff, polite, engaging and friendly

We have stayed at The Bridge House several times and have always found it to be to our liking, the only comment I would make is that the duvets on our beds needed to be changed to summer weight not winter other than that no complaints whatever.

Fab stay, excellent staff and a wonderfully clean, spacious and comfortable room!

We found the staff were very friendly and helpful; our rooms were at the back of the property and so we had views of the river which was lovely especially early in the morning. There were a lot of car parking spaces and disability car parking spaces at the front of the property. The food was nice and tasty and fresh. All in all a very nice stay and I would go back to stay when in the area again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The lady who checked us in was delightful.

The staff were very attentive and polite. We were at the front of the hotel and as there wasn’t aircon in the room we had our window open. Very loud traffic noice throughout the night. The tv didn’t work but as we arrived late, that wasn’t a problem.

Staff very friendly and obliging. Accommodation very good, we had the opportunity to upgrade, which we did, very comfortable.

We were thrilled with the view to the rear & the weather was kind to us . As a child I swam in the river just by the bridge . The room was not special & lacked a non slip mat for the Bath. Please may I have a receipt. !

Very busy road. Heard traffic all night. Room was not cleaned thoroughly. On reception, staff were not friendly, quite curt and abrupt. Limited breakfast options.

Easy check in. Large room, sadly noisy as over the cellar. Coolers going on and off all night, then at 7am the dray men arrived and were rolling the barrels into the cellar, hence an awful nights sleep. Breakfast so so. Most staff pleasant.

Very enjoyable stay. Too hot overnight. Understand Air Conditioning was unavailable, will be better next time. Would have preferred bathroom door to open alternative way. Light very bright when opening door overnight. Or second switch inside bathroom. Bottle of water waiting in room very good idea. Staff professional and pleasant. Good quality breakfast. We will be staying there again.

Nice hotel outside Wimbourne. Very helpful staff, very comfortable beds. Lovely riverside terrace for drinks and breakfast. We had a room at the front and a bit noisy from the road.

Very comfortable and excellent value. All the staff were very friendly.

I have stayed here several times before and have always been very pleased. This time I booked the cozy double. There is very little space between the end of the bed and the wall but other than that there is plenty of room to get dressed etc. it is very clean. The other times I have stayed in different rooms which were much bigger.

Great hotel , fantastic staff on reception and dining room . Food was very good too . Stayed for three nights . One slight moan was the noise from the main road , could do with better soundproofing in road facing rooms . Fortunately I packed earplugs .

I can normally find something negative to say about a hotel but not this one. From the moment we checked in everything was great. Great location, friendly staff, room cozy and comfortable, nice size rooms. The food was excellent. We didn't book a river view room and wish we had but that was our fault. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

I love bridge House Hotel it is a home from home

The hotel is comfortable enough to stay a few nights in. However, the food is very overpriced and to be honest not that nice. We had a party of 8 people, a burger was £16 and it contained a piece of chicken and a bit of tomato, lettuce and cheese. Burgerking would have sold it for around £5. I had Lasagna, which was good on top as it was covered in melted cheese, but the mince underneath was a bit dry. I unfortunately chose to have a carvery the next day as we were going to a function and needed lunch before we went. The beef was dry and quite tough, the french beans were hard, the yorkshire puddings I believe were Aunt Bessies as they were like cardboard. Very disappointed. Will stay at the hotel again for a night, but will not have the very overpriced food.

Everything was absolutely fine nice and clean, only problem was the heating wasn’t working so it was a little chilly but I do like a hot room. So maybe fine for everyone else.

Very comfortable bed and room. Staff very nice. Forgot to ask for more tea bags and milk. Could have done done with a little extra to allow up to 3 drinks each.

Clean and professionally run hotel with well equipped room and easy parking. Didn’t have breakfast as it was just a convenient overnight stay before an early morning flight. Will definitely use again.

My Wife and I have had a short break away and were greeted by helpful polite staff. We had carvery that evening and it was excellent. Our room was very spacious and very well appointed. We chose to have the buffet breakfast (extra) and it too was fantastic

Don’t be fooled by the look from the outside. The Food Staff and Rooms are excellent.
