People at reception were helpful. The room was ok. Bathroom shabby. Breakfast more like a hostel than a hotel.

Location was great, walk to everything, breakfast simple but sufficient, room simple and clean.

We enjoyed the central position of this Hotel. Easy and safe to walk to good restaurants, shops, etc. We like walking so we went to the beautiful San Martin Park, had a fresh juice at the "Naranja-Lima" trailer, excellent!! Carrefour Supermarket is around 6 blocks away. Breakfast: good service and plentiful. Swimming pool is not in the building so we did not try it. Room: Number 46 (or 406) was large and very comfortable with good Air Conditioner.

Hotel was in an excellent area-close to restaurants, entertainment and services. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the traffic noise was awful. I was on second floor. I don’t know if it is better higher up.

Nice clean hotel close to very good restaurants. The staff in the reception is extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay and improvised trips to different other cities got way easier with their help. Would definately stay there again if I am in Mendoza.

An old Hotel...which has and is currently being renovated...being run on a shoestring, in the meantime. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is basic. The location is excellent...right in the middle of the tourist section. A number of very good restaurants, within 100m. Bus stop out front and tram to Lopez Bodega, also within 100m.

Hotel was in a fantastic location and the breakfast was wonderful. There were issues with our booking, however, and despite many promises, they weren't solved over our four night stay. The rooms were comfortable enough, but the walls are thin and the hallways are quite noisy. The shower is also a bit unruly, meaning that the floor was soaked after any shower, which could be a bit unsafe for some. Still, for the value, you can't beat the location.

The pictures don't show the reality of the hotel. It's an old structure very run down. The air conditioning doesnt work in some rooms, and there is no personnel to fix it. The safe deposit box didn't work either. The noice from the street is loud and comes straight through the glass doors that don't close tightly. The person at reception was great and super attentive, but did not seem to be enough for the amount of traffic and requests at one time. The rooms were clean and the bedding in good condition. The hallways were dusty as if there had been some type of left over dust from remodeling.

Modern style hotel in excellent location. I was put of this hotel by the check in, we were told we might be able to check in early and came back 20 minutes before check in time, however member of staff ignored us and was less than pleasant when he did and we had to wait till just after check in time. Other members of staff were fine. Room also did not have a balcony but we did not want to complain and wait again. Breakfast fine, swimming across the road nice, room small but bright, good air conditioner and wifi. Hotel very busy maybe problems because of this.

Good for the price. Staff were very helpful. Spoke English. Reasonable breakfast included. Small room but good bed. Shower head faulty but no major issue. Very central. Great restaurants on same street and 5 min walk to main restaurant strip.

Carlos from Front Office has been exceptionally helpful. Guestroom is large and commands a good view of the street albeit noisy. Hotel seems to be recently re-done -- love the retro lifts but pity errant guests don't operate them properly. Guestroom floor was very dusty - could do with a good mop.

Then we got another room and the air conditioning unit was not working and one of the ceiling lights above the tv was continuously blinking as if the electric circuit was about to have a short circuit. The worst was that the elevator was going up but automatically it would go done to the ground floor. The elevator was set up so that it could never come up to the 4th floor or any other floor. So we had to walk down to the ground level from the 4th floor all the time. It was a very bad experience... we are never going back to the International Hotel in Mendoza

Good Hotel, Great location! But NOT the location that Trivago.nl promised me... (don't blame the hotel for that though...) Not super chique or fancy, but has everything you need at the perfect city center location. Personel is very friendly and helpfull!

Centrally located but in poor conditions, you can hear through te walls and the doors. Its old and not well maintained.

For a moderate price this is good value - rooms smaller but everything more than adequate (breakfast/ cleanliness/ and help from front desk even in English)

CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE IN THE CENTER OF TOWN, NO ENGLISH SPEAKING AND NO ENGLISH TV AND NO WIFI IN THE ROOM

The location of the hotel was in a great part of Mendoza city close to hotels and restaurants and shops. We could walk to a lot of places. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and room was spacious.

I was promised a room with balcony by hotels.com. Despite showing them the booking form clearly listing ROOM WITH BALCONY they could not provide one. The room I was allocated was poor. There was no AC control unit or towels when I arrived. The hotel clerk finally, after half an hour, came up, took the front off the unit, and got it working. Towels arrived shortly afterwards. I WAS NOT A HAPPY HOTELS.COM CUSTOMER!However the staff were very helpful apart from the above and told me where to find local restaurants and the safest bus to the Main Bus Terminal for my trip next day to Santiago. I would recommend because, looking into a couple of front facing rooms( some with balconies) during cleaning process, they seemed better appointed than my tired room at the back. Breakfast was good.

Fine. Room and breakfast seemed ok for the price. Room was heated, although there was no hot water.

Great location, very friendly staff, fantastic value. Great restaurants near by and close to all the things in the centre of town. I wish I could speak Spanish a bit better, but communication with staff was fine with the help a little help from Google translate here and there!

The service was horrible I changed rooms 3 times as each one had something wrong. First no safe then a broken AC the third had a broken safe but I was to exhausted to argue. And when I asked them about it they were unhelpful. They did not inform me about breakfast or any other amenities they just handed me a key. The room was clean but extremely outdated and the shower did not drain. There are lots of hotels in the area you should choose one of them.

Awful experience. When we got there staff would't respect our booking and was charging extra fees for breakfast and parking even though our booking included that. The room itself was dark and dirty and the air conditioning didn't work. We asked the staff multiple times if they could come take a look and they never showed up even though they said they would. Overall, really bad experience I would not recommend it at all.

The hotel is a very short walk to Plaza Independencia which is a central point for the bus tours. The room was comfortable but nothing too special. I would recommend a room closer to being above reception because my room couldn't pick up the wifi signal and everything loaded super slow until i left my room and would walk towards the reception area. Overall a pleasant stay and friendly staff.

Though this hotel was very centrally located its appearance is deceiving..... The facade and lobby have been updated... the rooms however are a different story. They appear to have changed little for many years... there is no AC in the rooms though there is in the lobby giving most people a false impression. I wouldn't have minded the lack of AC but there is much traffic and noise around the hotel. Sleeping at night with the windows open is a challenge.

I spent just two nights in Mendoza, and if I had acted earlier would have stayed at a hostel, but through Expedia chose the Internacional because it was the cheapest. Cons: I didn't really understand what the deal was with the A/C (I think they're centrally controlled), but the ceiling fan did a well job cooling. The TV made a weird noise sometimes Pros: Just a couple of blocks from the Plaza Independencia and the bustle, more pillows than I ever used, daily toiletry replacement, helpful staff, free internet, and although I didn't make use of the breakfast, the dining area was clean. Basically I just had nitpicky problems and this place is great. Some have complained about small room size, but what are you really going to do in there that you need running-around room? It's Mendoza, get outside!
