It was great and excellent location. Parking is on street but found very good spots both days. Rest is nice and disc is offered to guests.

Hotels.com you think this is an unstaffed accommodation from your questions - this is a full hotel with a 24 hour front desk staffed with very lovely people. The breakfast could have been a bit more varied, but the Italians don't 'do' breakfast of course.

Excelect front desk staff. They packed breakfast for us since we had to leave early to get to airport!

Location and charm of property are unmatched! The view of the bay, ease of location, and overall charm were perfect. The only reason I cannot give this place a GLOWING 5 star review is the bed... it was old, and just not super comfortable. Upgrade the mattresses and this place would be unstoppable! The staff was fabulous and we loved our balcony so much.

Just a bit run down . Very old elevator system (very dirty) key on a heavy brass weight that yoi had to carry arround.

Fantastic Hotel! I had a room with a balcony facing the sea, there is not a better way to wake up! The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant attached with fantastic food! If you are looking for a place to stay in Rapallo this is it!!!

First of all, big thanks to Irene, Emanuele and the lovely and helpful Maurilio! Thanks to you, our stay at the hotel was even better. The hotel is in the center of Rapallo, close to everything. You will find all restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. Right in front of the hotel is a pier where you can easily take a boat to Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure and spend the day there. Our room had a wonderful view of the sea, and a balcony where you could see the city. The room was big with high ceilings, bright and clean, the bed was good and the room has enough closet space and counter space. The bathroom was bright and large, clearly renovated, clean and well equipped. The only minus comes from the breakfast, which unfortunately does not meet the breakfast expectations of a 4* star hotel. The place for breakfast is a wonderful space in the downstairs restaurant with wonderful views. The staff is also considerate and helpful. But the breakfast selection is very limited. And it's a pity that every morning there was a lack of food in the selection, and there was always something left to wait for. The hotel was apparently fully booked, and in that case it should be anticipated and taken into account in the amount of breakfast. The quality of the food was good and tasty. As we had a few rainy days, we found out that there is no umbrellas in the hotel.We did not expect that at all, we assumed of course that 4* hotel has umbrellas in every room.Please fix that, grazie mille!

View on the sea, very nice personnel, close to everything in Rapallo. Good breakfast

The staff from front of house to housekeeping were friendly and professional. The room was large with a comfortable bed and excellent view. The hotel has a lovely old world charm, which includes a working art deco lift. The location is excellent, right on the waterfront and only 5mins walk from the train station in Rapallo.

Definitely not a 4 star. No refrigerator. Room was like a sauna and AC was not enough to counteract the heat in the room. On another note, view was breathtaking. However not worth the price

Nice hotel in the center of Rapallo, right on the ocean front. We had a room with ocean view. Many restaurants around the hotel. Train and bus stations are within 5 minute's walk.

I was very pleased. I have almost no complaints. The only issue was the site stated laundry service available and sadly it wasn’t.

Like the location, very good breakfast, friendly staff , clean hotel. Close to everything. The ferry is just across the street, train is just five minutes walk. Love the hotel as well as Rapallo, Easy to go everywhere.

The location is ideal, 3 min walk from the train station and the view is second to none. Restaurants and shops on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend a sea view room. The staff are fantastic, so so helpful.

Lovely “. fin de siecle” hotel right on the front. Huge rooms. Spotless. Wonderful breakfast.Fabulous staff tried so hard to help us out when Ryanair cancelled our flight at short notice. Parking problematic. Only two dedicated spaces opposite hotel. Large car park nearby but €2 an hour for every hour. Overnight parking on main promenade is free after 10pm Can’t speak too highly of the staff again. Great base for Cinque Terre visit

The hotel was in a perfect location, walking distance from lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful. And we really enjoyed staying in the town of Rapallo.

Incredible view and a great location.

Great hotel with a beautiful view and amazing location. Rapallo was such a great area to stay in. Their beaches are longer and better than I thought after viewing photos. There’s so many great restaurants nearby and the cutest wine and cheese store next to the hotel. Highly recommend for the price!

We were given a completely different room than we had booked. The room we booked looked gorgeous and then the front desk advised us that they only post “the nicest pictures and don’t show the other rooms”. Complete catfish

Five night stay Staff are helpful and kind Room was super as I had a view of the sea Breakfast was good

The air conditioning didn’t work the first night. And I told the woman in the reception that. She did sent someone to the room when I wasn’t in and he had “fixed” it. Well that night we didn’t get any sleep at all. It was so hot in the room we hade to take cold showers all of us. But the day after I mentioned it again and said that they have to fix the problem. So then they switched rooms so we got a air conditioner that worked. So before you even take you’re bags to the room, check the ac. But besides from that it was a good hotel. Not great but not bad. Good location. Close to the beach and close to the restaurants in town. Okey breakfast and friendly staff.

The staff was excellent and the breakfast was good. Only issue we had was that the Wi-Fi was very weak and would cut out every few minutes. Becoming very tough if you’re planning on using Wi-Fi to do some work. Other than that everything was good.

Lovely hotel, right in the center of activity yet quiet inside. Super friendly service and very comfortable bed! We hope to return someday!!
