Staff is kind and it’s so clear to everything. It was hot weather however, and the AC didn’t work. We just opened a window and it was enough to be comfortable. Would go again for the location.

The best location short walk to all major points of interest. Staff are very happy and attentive. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Parking was very tight and difficult. Meals were soso. Dining room was very noisy.

I’ve stayed at the property many times before, but this time, whereas there has been enormous improvements with the foyer and reception area. The menu was small, hugely expensive service was slow. The bedroom was more like a hostel bedroom. It was so small that the armchair was by my bed so I couldn’t get out. I asked them to remove the armchair which was not done. There was no shampoo, it really was like being in a hostel, I would never go back

I have been to Lourdes many times. From the moment we arrived to the day we left the staff were amazing and helpful. Every inch of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The pool was great to relax in. I will be definitely book this hotel every time I go. Thank you for a wonderful 5 days.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Lourdes. The staff were extremely kind and very helpful. We had a fantastic stay and will certainly return. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were so clean. I’m particularly fussy and this hotel was perfect.

The hotel is okay. We stayed in a room right next to the river so the view was great. However the room was dated and although it was supposed to be a double room it had an extra single bed which made it crowded in the room. The parking lot is very difficult to get to and had an unsafe entrance especially for motorcycles. It has a steep ramp with sharp turns and it is painted grey. The top of the ramp gets wet making the whole situation extremely un safe. After much arguments about why I could not safely park a large motorcycle there, they did eventually offer me a spot in an outside parking lot of another hotel they had down the street.

We did not stay on this hotel , they transferred us to another hotel.

The breakfast was astoundingly good. All staff that we interacted with were very friendly, polite and super accommodating. For us it was a one night crash pad before flying out but the stay here was top notch

Air conditioning was not working in the room, when we asked the reception staff we were told that it was too cold for air conditioning and suggested we open the French door to get air into the room. The was no mention when we booked to say AC was seasonal. Jacuzzi was not working. Safe in wardrobe was not fixed to the wall, just loose on the shelf. No handle on French doors, had to put your finger in a hole to open it, it also meant the door was unlocked all the time. Not enough socket in room Breakfast was poor, scrambled eggs were made from powder eggs !!! why ?

We stayed one night in late April 2019. We were given a room on the top floor which is like an attic. The room itself is very very basic. It's definitely not look like a 4-star. But the bathroom is even worse. For the shower, it doesn't even have a shower curtain. If you take shower, you will wet the whole bathroom. So we didn't take a shower. Fortunately it was only one-night stay. At night, we realized the temperature control didn't work either. The room was very hot. It was raining hard so we couldn't keep the window open. When we were checking out, I complained to a hotel staff. She said why we didn't tell her earlier. Well, when we were checking in, we were told the hotel was fully booked. I didn't think they could move us to a better room. Also we had a very tight schedule and we didn't know the room temperature control didn't work either. Anyway, it was very very disappointed. The only thing good is the hotel's location. It's right in the center. What threw me off is how could a 4-star hotel has a such bad facility??? I think the hotel should have discounted our room rate.

For your stay in Lourdes, I think you'd struggle to find anywhere as good as Hotel La Solitude. Excellent location, great facilities and very kind and helpful staff. We stayed in a family room which was situated over two floors. The beds were comfortable and it was good to have two bathrooms. Tea and coffee making facilities were included and a fridge and safe were provided too. We enjoyed there being an indoor pool and the views from the pool patio are majestic. We stayed on a B&B basis. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu, so I'd say that there was something for everyone. What could have made our stay better? Difficult to find fault. However, the air conditioning fan in the room was somewhat rattly, which was irritating but you did get used to it (air conditioning did mean that we had a comfortable night's sleep). I must acknowledge that while we appreciated the hotel providing soya milk (two in our party have to avoid dairy), it would have been nice if a dairy-free alternative to butter was available - sorry, I'm a toast for breakfast person. Nonetheless, don't let these two minor comments put you off staying here. Based on our very recent experience, you'll have a comfortable stay.

Friendly staff, clean room & common areas, ample amenities. We used the pool and were the only ones there. The rooftop deck has beautiful views. Our room was comfortable & cleaned regularly. Having the bar/restaurant/cafe in the building was convenient. Front desk was able to call an airport shuttle for us. Location met my expectations.

This hotel was amazing. Our room had the gorgeous view of the river. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and up to date. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! I would like be to stay at this hotel again.
