Comfortable stay in a beautiful location with spectacular views.Handy bike and car rental also available at the hotel which made travelling around the island easy.

No cancellation allowence very poor customer relationships And will never book this hotel again.

This hotel was a happy discovery. Knowing Formentera a little, I knew roughly where we wanted to be based and Club Sunway Punta Prima was great in that respect. Within walking distance of Pujols beach, it is set in a stunning cliff-top location. Our room was cosy but well equipped, the hotel had everything needed from a beach resort. The hotel was a real bargain with half-board being standard and a picnic lunch on offer! Food was plentiful and very good. Staff were very friendly with nice touches, such as remembering which gin we preferred. Everywhere was scrupulously clean - no mean feat when it is as windy as when we stayed! Checkng in and out was very smooth. Difficult to fault.

Overall very good. Nice location and great view. Breakfast is solid. Big room with a lot of storage and hangers. Reception service outstanding.

We had a Superb stay at Hotel Club Sunway. Was a very friendly welcome at check in, the room was very clean & comfortable, The pool area was just stunning with incredible views of the Mediterranean & across to Ibiza, and the food was very good quality. Overall a highly recommended place to stay on the beautiful Island of Formentera

Overall great experience, 65€ half board is a fair price. We will come back again.

Hotel club subway punta prima was a fantastic choice to stay in Formentera. The hotel is a 20 minute scenic walk from Es Pujols, where there are endless quaint seaside restaurants, a permanent crafts fair, and nightlife. Along this walk is also the popular Chezz Gerdi, which itself is a hot destination on the island. Most importantly the hotel offers bicycle and moped rentals on site making traveling around the island all the more easy. The sunset from the hotel is exquisite since the hotel is on a cliff, and this for those with a more adventurous heart allows for some cliff jumping opportunities into the crystal clear sea below. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Nice Hotel, very clean and quiet. It offers a great view. Food is good and in large quantity. Very close to Es Pujols and in a good position to get every beach. Staff is pleasant and very kind. Nice pool and confortable rooms. In order to visit the island you need to rent a car or a motorbike but the beach of Es pujols can be reached in 20 minutes walking. We had a very nice stay there and we would like to suggest this hotel to everyone.

The lady at the front desk was extremely nice upon our arrival. The card reader did not work and we were close to missing dinner because we had no choice but to go and withdraw cash from the nearest town to sort out the payment. The receptionist suggested we would go and eat first and only then make the drive to the ATM. She was nice and very apologetic about the hassle even though it was not her fault. Both the breakfast and dinner buffet were good, although I was left missing fresh vegetables and sliced fruits from breakfast. The resort itself was well maintained and beautiful. The only thing that would need be improved was the lighting on the way to the bungalows and at the parking area. We were practically walking in the dark when leaving the main building at nights. Our bungalow was tidy and cozy, and the pillows and blankets were really comfortable. All in all, I was very happy withd our stay!

Shocked by these reviews - 2 stars at best We were excited to stay here, based on reviews on TripAdvisor and Expedia, but ended up being extraordinarily disappointed. We found pictures and reviews misleading. One expects to pay a premium for a hotel on an island like Formentera but at this rate night (which Expedia claims was a $70/night savings), we found it to be a poor value. After touring the island, we really wish we’d opted for one of the hotels closer to the Es Pujols main area and restaurants. They were much more convenient and nicer. We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2016. The room was tiny, hot and dark and didn’t feel safe. The closed shutters on the door and single window leads one to worry about security. The hotel property is large but for some reason they decided to build tiny little bungalows that are spread out from each other and each bungalow has tiny rooms. Our bungalow was a 0.3 km walk from the reception desk and parking, along a dusty dirt road. There were other rooms even further away. That can make for a nice romantic walk at night after dinner but is no fun at all when you’re carrying 2 weeks of luggage to check out. Our bed sheets had a big stain in the middle. The room amenities were poor and cheap quality.

The food is incredible, the rooms are very clean and larger than I expected. Hotel staff were so helpful even with the language barrier, although many of them spoke some English very well. The views can not be beaten. The atmosphere was Great as well. Zero complaints from us!

All was good at this hotel. The location is beautiful, it is an easy walk along the coast line to the town of El Pujols. The hotel location is superb, good for rest, swimming and peacefulness. Only a little dark at night if you have to walk. For guest security they might provide some lighting on the walkways. The food is pretty good and comes with the hotel. All in all I would recommend.

Me and my wife stayed here for short 4 day break a few days ago 8/5/14 till 11/5/14. A fantastic island we fell in love it with it straight away, the hotel was very clean a tidy . As it was early in the year it was very quiet but that suited us . The rooms were very good although pushing two single beds together not always the best . The food was of good quality and there was plenty to eat with lots of choice. The grounds are very well maintained . The only draw back is the walk across the rocks to the nearest beach is about 15 mins but well worth it. The staff are very helpful and only speak limited English but then again it helps you learn a little Spanish. We would recommend this hotel to you and we will definitely be returning soon

We stayed during mid-October so the hotel was relatively quiet, which was nice. It was never a problem securing a good spot in the covered outdoor restaurant and only ever 4 or 5 people around the pool at any one time. Pool has been refurbished and has new smarter chairs and loungers (rattan, as supposed to the white plastic ones in the photos), so that was a pleasant surprise. Wireless in rooms was on and off, but was not really a big issue for us. It worked in the restaurant and around the pool fine. Great views of sea, 15-20 minute walk into Pujols over the clifftop, food was really nice and they also do packed lunches for free (basic chorizo sandwich, fruit, biscuits and bottle of water). We walked to Migjorn and back one day (around 7 miles in total, took about 1.5 hours each way) and also hired bikes to cycle all the way to the end of the island and back. 3 days and nights was about the right amount of time for Formentera.

wish we has spent longer in this hotel. Only spent one night, but the experience was great . Loved the breakfast and the little packed lunch we were sent off with. Would recommend this hotel.

I am an English man who has just spent 5 nights in the HCSPP. Firstly the hotel is set in a corner of the island fairly high up which provided some great views from the pool or man-made beach. It has small villas as rooms which are surrounded by well-maintained tropical gardens and provide a real holiday feel to the place. The location is a little isolated which is not a problem if you are able to hire a moped or a car but a casual walk in the evening into some of the bars and restaurants is not possible. However, during the day it is possible to hop over a wall near the reception where a gravel path leads you down to the beaches, pubs and restaurants and more importantly the local supermarket. The big plus for me was the evening meals which I thoroughly enjoyed probably because the hotel is completely catered for Italians, but I enjoyed this as I tried something different to English food although this might not be to everyone's liking? The only improvement I would make is to have the evening meals a little earlier. The next positive thing for me was the hotel staff and that included everyone from the cleaners, gardeners, to the receptionists. They were always very helpful and pleasant which is not always the way in other hotels I have visited throughout the world. I would highly recommend this hotel if you have a family and are not too fussed about there not being many English around? Maybe you are like me and wanted a short break at a truly stunning location?

This hotel had magnificent views as it is above the cliffs of Pujols, but that makes it a bit difficult to find, especially at night on bicycles. But the service is amazing and the guy even walked to our room to try to figure out our TV glitch. Everyone there was Italian, so they are catered to more than English speakers, but that of course is interesting to us. The sheets were old and had been on the bed for a while, but were quickly replaced when we mentioned it. The bartender let me take my sangria caraffe to the room, and the rocky walk to the beach, while intense, is really fun.
