Lovely views over the Loire river and helpful staff who provided good restaurant recommendations (as the restaurant at the hotel was closed). They also catered for my wife who is gluten free which was appreciated. Breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day.

It was hot in the rooms after you were out for the day mbut you could open the windows which helped in the evenings.

Staying in a 10th-century castle was an experience to remember! We appreciated the petals laid out on our bed for our honeymoon, breakfast on the terrace, sun lounges and the tennis court. From our quiet room we could admire a panoramic view of the Loire River. We were able to charge our electric hire vehicle on site. Breakfast and dinner were amazing! The staff were welcoming and helpful.

This location was only accessible by car, so be sure to plan ahead of your stay!

Beautiful location. Lovely old chateau overlooking the Loire so fabulous views. We are in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. We’d definitely stay there again if in the area.

The room was cold but it was very late when we arrived. I was disapointed at it being rated 4 star, there was a cob web down tge side of the toilet no bath robes which i would have thought would have being a 4 star. There was a coffee machine but for some bizzare reason the kettle which was a cheaplooking white plastic was shoved in a cupboard, sorry to say but i have stayed in smaller places with more little things that are better value for money, Just glad it was an offer and not the normal price

Very nice room, confortable, big and clean. The interior was well decorated, the staff was helpful and smily. The breakfast was really good with a great range of food.

The WiFi disconnected every 4-5 hours, and we had to go back to the lobby to get it connected.

Finding a very expensive Nespresso machine in our suite with 2 cardboard cups and wooden stirers. When I asked reception for coffee cups they were provided immediately

Staff’s service (to non-French speakers), breakfast spread with local produce and ambience of the room were highlights.

stunning property worth every euro. loved the setting and the feel of it. would gladly stay again.

there is no real amenities like shops around so be prepared for that.

Told the restaurant was fully booked and no meal available when only 10 people were in for dinner...unbelievable

The entire hotel was gorgeously appointed, the triple we stayed in was also gorgeous, the bathroom was also high end. Loved that it came with a hair dryer and magnified face mirror.

It was disappointing to have the ‘triple’ end up being a cot without a real home in the room . It was not very comfortable and it stood out like a military cot in a room at royal palace. The other thing that was a little disappointing was they didn’t serve diner on Sunday eve so we missed out on the incredible ambiance of the dining room over looking the River as breakfast was held in a smaller interior room - still beautiful however.

Amazing Chateau, building and rooms outstanding. Staff were welcoming and helpful, rooms were perfect overlooking river. Free parking, great seating outside the front of the chateau, and very clean. What I was hoping for.

Room, building, location and staff amazing, only things that was an issue was Breakfast was brought out per helping, unable to get coffee, jugs always empty and limited hot water for tea (we shared 1 cup of tea) and limited juice. Only a handful of each food item, at busy time of morning unable to get most items without waiting for staff to replenish small refills. No/ limited bar staff at dinner, waited for drinks at bar, no staff about to serve, left without embarrassment after looking at prices of drinks. Luckily we took our own wine and sat outside at bar overlooking amazing view.

No swimming pool. One receptionist (young one is nice) another too strict.

Excellent price for the opportunity to stay in a chateau overlooking the river. They had a shed to lock our bikes safely overnight.

Excellent location great friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant wasn’t open at the property but we knew that however the receptionist phoned and booked us a table down the hill which was only a ten minute walk

Drink prices a bit steep as was breakfast but you are paying for location. on the flip side there are many places to eat and drink either a short walk or drive away

no airco in the room (yet), only a tower fan which is too small for the big room, staff in the restaurant was really not on par with the quality of the food.

Lovely staff and great breakfast. Sadly the restaurant for evening dinning is a little stuffy - it would have been lovely to have taken dinner on the terrace.

Dinning menu could have been more extensive - for example less foie gras and veal. Also a pool would have made this hotel a perfect venue.
