We had just left on Sept.11. We loved it so much we drove back on the 15th for jus one night

The staff was great! The rooms could use a little tlc but they were clean! We had a suite by the pool with 2 king sized beds and a kitchenette. We loved our time in OC MD!

We stayed in the king suite.. it was very nice.. it was large and pretty clean.. the location was very convenient We did have a hard time getting towels, garbage, bags and other requests.. the WiFi didn’t work they said they would move us but we didn’t want to pack and unpack again.. the gym equipment was broke and pieces were missing . The staff could definitely be kinder!

Walking distance to inlet was not bad, also close to pickles pub.

Close by the beach and boardwalk.Room was clean but smell of mold terrible. We stayed five days in hotel and all the time our door to the balcony was open because of smell .

The Tidelands was fantastic. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The beds were very, very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. The room was very quiet and we had no issues. The desk people were super nice and friendly. We are planning to go back again to Ocean City and will definitely stay at the Tidelands. The room was absolutely amazing and the price was fantastic compared to other hotels on the boardwalk. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Ocean City.

Location is good

The location of the hotel was wonderful! The property and rooms were very dirty. Our room was so dirty and unsanitary that we went to the front desk and requested a new room, the manager the front desk was wonderful, she upgraded us to another room, which was much better, but still not as clean as we would of liked. My husband and I left a day early because of the rooms.

Contrary to the other reviews i actually enjoyed this hotel and it was not as the other reviews made it seem. I had nice ocean view room, the room was spacious clean and just as described in the expedia website. I will be returning in the future.

The front desk staff was really nice and friendly. The room is awful! There hole all over the room. Very old and the ceiling has a big stain with paint peeling off and falling. There weird black stain all over the room.

Where do I begin. Room was DIRTY, there was bubblegum stuck to the wall by the bed, mold in the bathroom. When we opened the pullout couch to use as a bed. It was folded up with food from the previous guest still in it. Blood Stain on the comforter. The pool doesn't look like its even been treated. Thin walls, you can hear the neighboring rooms conversations. Very limited parking. There is overflow parking 4 plus blocks away, but not very convenient for ADA parking. On the plus Size, the mattresses were comfortable and the suites have a nice amount of space in them.

It was a nice place but very rusty the elevator took forever because it wasn't working to good!

Comfortable bed, hot water, decent amount of space in the suite. Basic amenities, 2 mini-fridges, one of which died, but they were quick to replace. Wifi was pretty much non existent/unusable.

Nice place, good location. Two pools. Stayed in it for the second time. Will return.

Location, location, location! Great location! A bit dirtier for the price we paid. Confusing with 2 entrances. Parking is tight, and tricky to manipulate. Sidewalks don't connect properly, so we were constantly stepping over curbs into stones to get back on the sidewalk. All that being said; in a pinch, we would stay there again.

I recently stayed here with my mom and overall it’s a good hotel. I’ll start with the positives. It’s right on the boardwalk which is great. I stayed in the suites building. I like having the two separate bed areas. There is also a pool with a restaurant/bar attached. Loved that. Staff was super nice. Now for the cons. The suites have a kitchenette that comes with your basic plates, utensils etc. The plates had stains on them and the inside of them microwave was dirty. There were some mold spots on the vents and ceiling in the bathroom. The balcony door was so hard to shut I thought i would have to leave it open. The parking is also an issue. The lot at the hotel fills up quick so you’re left to go a lot that is not on the property. Also, you can definitely hear the trash trucks picking up trash every morning between 5-530. There were also some stains on my bed sheets. I’m not a picky person so I could tolerate these things. With this aside i would say it’s a good value for a beachfront hotel. I would most likely stay again

Great location. In need of some Renovation and updates. Good for a long weekend as a couple.

The room was in disrepair. It was clean but the ceiling had several leaks that were not repaired properly. The tiles in the floor were loose. The jacuzzi tube was not cleaned properly and had mold. The ice machine in the hall made so much noise my son left and went to a different hotel. There were cobwebs in the lobby lighting fixture and the elevators made a loud buzzing noises when you rode up to the floors.

The property was very clean and presentable. The staff were all polite and attentive. I would definitely go there again

The room we were given was not what was requested. Patio door did not lock, outlet in bathroom didn’t work properly and you had to jiggle the plugs to get them to work. The tub sank down in the middle. As soon as you got off the elevator the hallway always smelled like a moldy musty rotten smell. The hand rails going down the outside stairs were completely broken and when my mom grabbed onto it she almost fell until I caught her because they were not attached going down flight 2 and 1. Talked to the front desk manager about everything and she blew us off and did nothing. Could not enjoy sitting on the balcony because people beside us were smoking pot. Of course this is a non smoking facility.

The noise in the hallway on the first night was horrible! We were up all night! We were not able to get into our room on the 2nd night due to a gas leak. Once in the room, the noise in the hallways all night kept us up. The 3rd night there was no hot water and very noisy in the hallway until about 3am. The 4th night people were in the hallways knocking on doors and being very loud until 2am. We tried to call the front desk but they didn't answer in any of the occasions. By the 5th night instead of staying, we just left at 9pm and drive 5 hours home! We figured we'd be up with all the noise anyway so might as well go home to our own bed! It was the best night sleep we had in 5 nights! I called early the next morning to let them know we left and the reasons and was told the manager would look at the cameras and call me back! I still haven't heard anything! This was the worst hotel in the 28 years we've stayed in OC. At least they could of refunded my money or tried to make it right, but they just ignore it! Save yourself a headache and don't stay here!

I’ve been staying here for 5 years now and it’s always nice. Convenient, right on the boardwalk. Great balcony.
