It is a really nice hotel, very modern with friendly staff. However the swimming pool is freezing and the hot tub was not on the whole time. The food was either really good or very bad however you do get a free trip to the spa that is definitely worth it

All-inclusive package was great. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming, courteous and very helpful. Food was served in buffet style - wide variety to suit every taste - particularly liked homemade soups, and carvery style roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, baked ham, pork belly and rib of beef (served on different days). Cabaret varied each evening on the terrace and was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hôtel, fantastic staff, good food

Stayed here a few years ago and it was great, not so good this time, they have now decided to create queues! For example: to get food from the pool area you need to queue at the drinks bar, obtain a piece of paper (not eco friendly) and go back to queue to get a burger …even though you have an all inclusive band. Complained to reception about this and they just stared at me! If you love unnecessary queues then this is the hotel for you, nowhere near as efficient as before

Nice hotel in a great location for both the old and new town. Only issues we had were the pool being beyond freezing! And the food wasn't great. Everything else wed couldn't fault, highly recommend the cocktails and kebabs at lunch

Love the place

You can’t fault this hotel. Centrally located, 2 minutes walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to Old Town. Excellent food, however I have had better paella. Friendly and hard working staff . Twin room was with 2 double beds. Not sure why people go for the select option. We will definitely return to this hotel

Great stay at Sandos Monaco. Food was good with good choice and variety, rooms clean and comfortable. Entertainment was good. All round good stay

Just back from a lovely 5 night stay. Hotel is central to old town new town and a few minutes walk to beach. Very clean and comfortable had room on 12th floor with amazing views. The staff were fabulous they could not do enough for you very professional and helpful. Food typical all inclusive good variety. Some days very good other days just alright. Tended to have lunch from snack bar at pool which was cooked as you order the usual burgers hotdogs pizza kebab and fries on offer with fresh salads. Tried out the spa which was amazing. The select package is good value for money if you like branded drinks and you get 2 free entries to the spa but weigh up the options before you buy. The sun goes down at one side of the pool late afternoon but if you lounge at bar area you get the sun all day long. Overall I had a fabulous stay would definitely recommend this hotel and I hopefully will be back soon.

It was an ok hotel to stay for a weekend. The breakfast wasn't good at all. They had plenty to choose from, but it wasn't well done. The cocktails where the worst ever. 2 stars for the drinks/food and 3-4 stars for the hotel. The elevators didn't work all the time either. Sometimes after been waiting for more than 15 minutes I took the stairs down, from the 14 floor!

Room small - especially shower room. No butteries in tv remote. No tea or coffee in room. Towels in room like sand paper. Definitely not 4 star accommodation. On site parking was not made available. Been to many better hotels that were 3 star so no idea why this is 4 star.

Reception Staff Member the most senior one was snappy band unhelpful.

The hotel itself was very good, in our opinion what let it down was the quality of the food, after 1 day of all inclusive, we decided to eat our for our main meal. The presentation of food and the variety were excellent, but on the most part the quality was very poor.

From the moment you enter the hotel you’ll feel welcome from reception to bar and restaurant staff ,all very helpful. The rooms are a great size and well equipped even a kettle. Only one comment is it would be good to have a covered pool for the winter months.

The stay at sandos Monaco was fantastic, really good value, great food and great service. The rooms were great too. We'll definitely return.

Lovely hotel overall. Hugely disappointed that aircon wasnt available until our last night. Swimming pool no good for sunbathing as it rarely gets the sun. However, the hotel is comfortable, clean and well maintained. It is in a great location and all the staff that we encountered were first class at their jobs

Attended with a group for 50th celebration. Good location. A few blocks back from seafront and bars. 15 min walk to old town. Hotel was ideal for our needs. On the downside buffet for every meal wasn't great, food was often very beige. Outside bar area had grill and other facilities but not used. Despite complaints from many guests , not only in our group, hotel continued to serve drinks to obnoxious young male guest who annoyed and upset many guests.

Stayed in two rooms on 6th floor. Bedrooms a little shabby but had generally good facilities. Large bathroom but shower is in bath with very low water pressure. Some toiletries but no shower cap. Buffet restaurant was fine with usual selection of foods - chefs very grumpy so no real 'cooked to order' option! Complex very clean and adults only. Excellent Spa, Wellness packages available.

If you want Spanish culture this is not the place to be. It's Brits abroad here and lots of beer. We wanted a bit of sun with not too far to travel. It was a short break that I booked to get my 75 year old mum away for a bit of sunshine. We achieved that in the sense that we got some late September warmth and sunshine and the hotel was lovely but she felt very intimidated by the lager louts that were everywhere.

Only complaints pool to cold nones one swam a few would go in but got straight out. A hotel that size could afford some solar panels!!! The seven days I was there my sheets were not changed when I told the reception they said I should of asked. I don't think I should have had to ask they should have changed it a minimum of twice.
