Room is big with high ceiling. However, there is a moldy smell. Also the spa facility are closed for maintenance during my stay -- literally no amenity and breakfast was not included.

We arrived by bus direct from Bergamo airport (3 x daily - odd times)(1hr 10 mins) and got off at the last stop in Lovere with short walk back to the hotel. Side entrance. Reception small area - very pleasant/informative staff. Room very clean and spacious with lake view. Bustling and bright little town alongside the lake. Good bus service to Bergamot itself. Breakfast reasonable. Pool and spa area controlled by appointment - very enjoyable. Lovely restaurants. Nice boat trip across the lake where a train is available to Iseo at the other end of the lake. Hotel is well placed with easy access and walking immediately along the lakefront. As it was off season - no tours available unfortunately. I think it best if you can hire a car as there would be plenty to see. Perfect stay for a few days. Lovely view across the lake on early morning. Easier accessible transport to the airport from this side of the lake. More difficult from Iseo. Taxis DO NOT operate in Iseo. I did not see any in Lovere but I do not know for sure if any exist or not. Unfortunately we did not get to see places of interest outside of the immediate area due to lack of transport, but enjoyed our stay in this lovely unspoilt lakeside town. A little bit to the left of the hotel are beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. But be careful - there is no footpath in places and you suddenly become face to face with oncoming traffic.

The hotel has a great position right at the side of the lake. It is however on quite a busy main road so there is a bit of traffic noise and it also restricts the ease of access a little.

Only one night stay, but good reception. Perfect location.

The derelict building on the other side of the road blocked 40% of our "lake view". When we asked to change rooms (we had a "superior" room on the 1st floor) we were shown room 101 which had a better view of the lake but were told that it would be very noisy from the bar next door and we were advised not to take it. But then the balcony was unusable as the traffic noise and fumes were so oppressive that we had to keep the window closed and keep off the balcony which was only 2 metres from the busy road. The food in the Pinocchio restaurant was OK though my sea bass was rather dry. The staff were running round and working hard to cope with all the customers. The AC was noisy and as a consequence couldn't be left on at night. The decoration was peeling off the wall and the hot water was tepid at best. We checked out early the following morning aborting the rest of our stay. We went down the road to the Relais I Due Roccoli at the other end of Lake Iseo which was fabulous

A very nice room with a view of the lake, however with all things considered this stay was not value for money, Especially when we were charged for the hire of the table, silverware, napkins, plates and glasses when we dined,

Lovere is a beautiful place on the side of a lake with a lot of fantastic views.

We upgraded our room from the original booked by Expedia. It was massively cheaper to upgrade at the hotel than the price quoted by Expedia! Large , very comfotable room with balcony providing incredible lake views.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful Italian mountain and lake location popular with the locals and relatively undeveloped compared to the famous bigger lakes like Como and Garda. The town of Lovere where the hotel is situated has a great outdoor pool complex by lakeside within walking distance (5 Euros/day for kids, 7 for adults) + great dining out, ice cream parlours and old town historical sites and shopping. Easy to drive to in under an hour from Milan-Bergamo airport. Good breakfast with excellent coffee made to order all included in room price. Free bike use on deposit. Free underground parking under hotel and excellent road access to local sights including amazing nearby Pyramids Di Zone valley and many other things to do and see, e.g. 30 mins drive to Sulzano then 5 min ferry to the beautiful and traffic free Isla d'Iseo mountain island. Ryanair fly to/from Bergamo from Stansted at nice pm flight times. Highly recommended.

Hotel staff welcoming. Located close to popular restaurants on trip advisor. A short walk into Lovere to catch the boat to other islands on the lake and also Monte Isola. We got engaged on the lake itself and fully recommend upgrading to a balcony view of the lake.

I was a little bit worried when I made my booking due to one or two reviews I read, but I realised I had not made a mistake the moment I walked in and received a welcoming drink at reception, while my reservation was attended too. This laid down my experience for rest of my stay. My room was modern fully functional and cleaned everyday, a bowl of fruit and complimentary drinks in the room fridge were provided. The restaurant provided a buffet breakfast selection to suit all tastes including eggs bacon and sausage enjoyed with a wonderful view of the lake. The hotel is at the edge of the town but you only have to cross a road to enjoy a lovely walk along the lakeside, past restaurants and bars and shops. I intend to visit Lovere next year and will not hesitate to rebook at the hotel were all the staff won't hesitate to go the extra mile for the clientele

Dont be fooled by the exterior of this hotel its one of the best hotels me and my family have stayed in.We booked a room with no view or balcony in the description but on arrival found we had a room with a lake view which was stuuning.We had a free bottle of plonk with compliments free wi- fi and free soft drinks from the minibar.The room was huge and spottless with toiletries topped up everyday.(take note uk hotels).The restaurant upstairs was the best in the resort for price and quality and again beautiful views of the lake.Pizza 6 to 8 euro ,wine 2-50 euro.The staff were really helpful and there was a nice bar again with decent prices and free buffet at times .There was also a happy hour between 9 and 10pm with 30% off.Free bike hire was good for riding around the resort.There is a small indoor pool which charges 10 euro pp for 2 hours but well worth it in the heat.Its a ten minute walk to the centre with a few bars and restaurants and a little further to the lido and marina.Would stay here again no problem.If your renting a car at Bergamo airport use Firefly as they have a full to full fuel policy dont get ripped off by the other firms who charge a full tank of petrol .Book this hotel in Lovere you will love it.

A pleasant Hotel on the north west shore of beautiful Lake Isola.Staff very pollite and helpful.Room comfortable.Breakfast satisfactory but could do better.Hotel appearance needs a refurbishing.Dilapedated building across the road does not help the ambience.

Our family had two rooms, 1 looking over Lake Iseo and an inside court room. The vies from our balcony of Lake Iseo were very nice but an old relic of a building obstructed some of the view in front of us. The all inclusive breakfast buffet was delicious. We all enjoyed the spa, very relaxing after a long day of driving. We ate dinner along the lake boardwalk at a pizza restaurant. Parking was on site below the hotel. Staff very friendly. On the negative side our room was so big it would have been nice if the could have more furniture ie couch, lounge chair.
