For the price and time of year, it was perfect. It is a decent hotel with decent amenities for the nightly price. There are plenty of dining options nearby. Proximity is important when you have spent all day on the beach and everything closes at 8:00. On the third floor, it was quiet. The room was clean with comfortable beds and a well-running air conditioner. One thing I would add is a full length mirror somewhere outside the bathroom. I had to prop my phone up with the self-facing camera to get ready in the morning while other members of my family were in the bathroom. It was slightly inconvenient, but not enough to keep me from booking next year.

Fine for just a place to sleep while visiting relatives for a couple nights but Im sure i was given the worst room in the place on the 1st floor next to 3 doors. 1 to the parking lot that noone ever locked,o e to the stairs and one for the maid service. They came to work at about 7 and slammed the doors about 100 times so no sleeping in. Plus outside that door next to us was the "smoke break area" so very active all night long. The floor was pretty dirty in the room. After i showered my feeg were dirty walking to my bed so i wore shoes the whole time. Beds were clean as was the bathroom but the shower head was broke and squirted out sideways and soaked the whole bathroom. I managed to screw it on betterso whoevers next in there should be better off. My bed was broken someway that you couldng make the slightest move on itvwithout it making a very loud noise. I thing the box spring was broken. The employees were very nice however so i didnt complain. There must be a way to get better rooms in there because ive seen photos of much nicer set up rooms. One weird thing was there wasnt a mirror or a lamp really in the room it reminded me of a hospital room.

The room was spacious, but needed a small table with 2 chairs or added another chair for the desk area. For the cleanliness, for the most part was cleaned except when you laid down in bed & looked up at the ceiling the lights above the bed were very dusty & need to be vacuumed. The bathroom was very clean.

I spent 4 nights and for 2 breakfasts they didn’t have any milk, juice, yoghurt and bread!! They said that they didn’t received the order!! I’ve never saw that in my life. Other tourists were very angry about that. The only breakfast avalaible was crepes in a machine and scrambled eggs and for the eggs, I had to ask the employee to fill the plate because it was empty. The only negative point in my stay is that. The rest was perfect

It's at the beach. Our room had a musty smell, kind of expected. The wifi wasn't working, but my kid asked the front desk to reset it, and that fixed the problem. Our keys didn't work when we returned to the room after dinner. My kid went down to the front desk, and they gave us new keys. The breakfast was quite adequate. We stayed one night on our way to Downeast. It's just a little bit older with fluorescent lighting, but it was really clean, which I very much appreciated. And the staff we interacted with couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful.

Got a tiny cramped room and walls were thin. Not what was advertised. When bookong, saw picture of big room. We get there and room is tiny and cramped and noisy. Dissapointed. Felt like switch and bait tactic.

Quiet and clean hotel.

Overall disappointed in quality. Breakfast was poor quality, cold sausage/eggs, ran out of plastic silverware etc. In the room, TV was much smaller than expected, hardly any outlets in the room.

Clean, professional

I grabbed this hotel to spend some time with family who were at the beach, a 5 minute ride away. I was so pleased with the room, the staff, the cleanliness and the complimentary breakfast. The price was super reasonable, (less than half of the place the rest of the family was at and way nicer) and it will be my "go to" at York, from now on.

We really enjoyed our room, very clean and comfortable. We really loved having the Chinese restaurant within the same parking lot. Amazing food and great to not have to jump back in the car to get back.

We stayed on the first floor in a two queen. The beds were comfy, but the room was very small and smelled bad, I’m thinking from the old carpet. The breakfast was pretty bad. The waffle markers were fine but sausage patties very greasy and eggs did not taste like eggs.

Solid place to stay if you're looking for a convenient place located about 15 minutes from Portsmouth. We were there for 2 nights total. Parking availability was great. The only drawbacks were the room was smaller than anticipated and the walls are very thin so you hear everything and the wifi barely worked in the hotel

Stayed with family for a short vacation. Staff was accommodating. The location is good. A bit outdated as has been mentioned but we didn’t have any issues. The cleanliness could be better. Not having a fitness or a business center definitely negatives….

We had a great 2 days stay on Monday & Tuesday night. Quick check in & out. Clean rooms. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Only inconvenience was the ice machine was in the dining area. As we were having breakfast someone was filling their cooler with ice. A bit noisy.

Wi-Fi connection with Apple products is sometime difficult. Clean overall and service was good. Will return. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful. We appreciated the cookies and the bottled water. The beds were comfortable. We found the lighting in the room and placement of outlets a little inconvenient. That could be improved. The fluorescent lights over the bed (for reading) were quite harsh.

Very good value at the location as long as you don’t mind driving to beaches….we check out various locations in Maine so the need to stay on water to pay extra $$$ is unnecessary for us. Nice staff and good continental breakfast. Again, a very good value

Great hotel for the price, first room smelled like pee but they gave us a new room right away. Asked to have sheets changed daily, sheets were not changed and they only changed one bed. Key cards worked half the time, breakfast was eh, same thing every day. Pool was nice and clean and watr was great

This hotel was VERY janky! We tried checking in early before our theatre show. Told we had to pay a $25 early check in fee! We left our vacation night away at 1030 without sleeping there for our paid night! Noise was OBSCENE!!! From rooms on both sides of us, across the hall and soundwd like a wrestling arena above us! Tried calling front desk and the room phone wasnt plugged in and appeared to be ripped out the wall. Had to hold the wire to call front desk! Noone did anything about the noise! We chose to drive 3.5 hours home at 11 pm. Complained to front desk. Was 1 young 20 something year old , who appeared way over his head. Asked to speak to management! Were told they all were home in bed!! Where we wanted to be for over $200 for the night. Glad they got to sleep! Inquired about getting a refund. Young desk clerk was going to refund us.. but because we paid through Expedia, he told us he couldnt! To contact expedia and they would refund us. I asked "Joe" the clerk to write down that he would refund us for the 3 hours we spent at this facility! Didnt use the bathrrom or bed! Highly dissatisfied!! Want my money back and our deposit back ASAP!! Highly upset that because i paid through EXPEDIA, i couldnt get an immediate refund!! Book alot of rooms in that area!! NEVER AGAIN at this facility!! To leave 1 person over night that clearly was over his head, is ridiculous!! Getting someone to the desk was difficult!

Lost power for a couple hours. No backup power. It became very hot. My father is handicap and we were on the 3rd floor and elevator didn’t work so we were stuck. Went down to front office to see when power would be back on or how we would be able to get him down and no one was around at the front desk, I believe they went home when the power went out,
