Loved it! Great location on the main street, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Arriving to and from is magical on the train and Wengen is like out of a fairytale.

Alpine Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and speak good English. The breakfast is an excellent buffet, augmented by Prosecco and smoked salmon on the Sunday morning we were there. The indoor pool is 17x8 mètres and very few people used it during our stay; a great way to exercise. They block off 2 hours in the afternoon for children the other sessions are mostly adults only The hotel’s situation in the very center of Wengen is really good for going shopping. If it is hot, ask reception for a fan, and ask the room staff to leave the curtains closed when they make up the bed in the morning. Otherwise the rooms can get very hot in the afternoon sun. You also need to ask réception for the key to the old style safe box in the room, it isn’t given as a matter of course. We did not try the restaurant for an evening meal, nor the bar, because there were better choices in the local area. Overall definitely a strong recommendation and we would go back there.

When you arrive with heavy bags for your vacation, you are looking for a place closer to the train station, not on a slope, and still accessible to shopping. Alpine Wengen fulfills all those needs. And as a bonus, the minute you step out into your balcony, amazing scenery opens up right in front of you, the majestic mountains, children playing in the playground across from the hotel, cows grazing in meadows!

Great location and good for families with an indoor pool. Has a sauna and steam bath. Nice views from all rooms and a good breakfast. Very helpful staff

Had a great stay this week in Wengen. Would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms have refrigerators which they stock daily with soft drinks for free. Nice touch.

Hotel is in a great location. Customer service was excellent. Very clean. Each room seems to have a terrace (mine was overlooking the mountains).

The hotel was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and steam room. Our biggest issue was the dinner. The food was bland and not good. We had purchased half board but ended up going somewhere else for dinner on our last night because we couldn’t stomach having dinner in the hotel again. That said, the breakfast buffet was great and we did enjoy that part of the stay. Overall, we would stay here again but not eat dinner at the on site restaurant.

Everything was good just a few things: You should park your car in the train parking space in the Lauterbrunnen train station with your expenses (18 Frank per night) and also go with train to the hotel (13.6 Frank per person for two way). So there isn't any option related to these two expense from Hotel side like free parking/transportation or discount options! Second I requested SPA three time form the reception but they couldn't handle it third in the hotel advertisement they mention that there is Gym facility but there wasn't! But they gave us a room with an awesome view :)
