Our room was nice overlooking the beach. The complex was under construction/renovation at the time of our stay. Pool and spa area was not usable due to this. Will be amazing when renovations are completed. Highly recommend staying here

The property was under renovations so pool off limits and access restricted. Room was clean well appointed and spacious. Service was good, people skills could use a polish.

Will stay again.

The view from the room was amazing. The rating for the property condition was because of the work currently happening, but not a reflection of my overall view of the property. Definitely plan on returning.

Really liked the spa and pool, especially the fact that it was salt water. Location was great, being able to walk down the stairs to the beach. They offered free bike hire and free paddle board hire. A few negatives were when we arrived we discovered that the resort was under construction which was not mentioned when booking. We then had to navigate our way around scaffolding in a small parking lot. There was a hole in the cememt which the scaffoling was not containing properly and the front wheel of my tire went over the edge as i was trying to reverse park into a very small space. Then when i finally did park, the car next to me could not open their door. When we could not figure out where to park because it was not clearly signed we went back to ask the recrptionists who acted as if we were dumb and unimportant she did not offer any help and was abrupt. When i put a complaint in about her, the next day when we went to reception to ask to hire some equiptment she confronted us and asked why we said she was rude , then complianed to us that she had gotten in trouble with her boss due to our complaint. This made us very uncomfortable and not want to come back to this place ever again. The rooms were also very small and not what was pictured online when booking also very outdated. There was no lift which made it hard to carry luggage upstairs. One positive was that from thursday onwards there was two lovely receptionists at the desk who made up for the rude one.

Beautiful location, clean room, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We used many of their recommendations and had a fantastic time in Bargara and Bundaberg!

Half the property was under construction so our views were scaffolding. Room had a dead cockroach when we walked in and lots of dust.

The staff were Very friendly and accommodating unfortunately there was a bit of construction happening during our visit but other then that we will be definitely be going back for another a visit.

This prooerty is in an excellent location, right on the waterfront which we loved. Unfortunately there was some works going on in an adjacent building on the property which made the parking very tight but it was manageable

Friendly helpful staff at reception great. No breakfast/ dinner resturant not great.

Great find at last minute due to disruption in our original plans. Awesome room steps from the sand! Bargara is such a nice, small, clean, friendly town. We feel like we lucked out with this place.

Lovely, characterful old motel. Currently undergoing a bit of renovation work, but nothing that spoiled our stay. The staff are absolutely amazing - they really cared about making sure you enjoyed your stay. The 2 bed apartments were really well equipped with very comfy beds - we immediately felt very at home and were genuinely sad to leave. Would love to return to this beautiful little seaside gem one day.

No designated smoking areas and lots of stairs to climb. other than that we had a great 3 day stay

Absolutely wonderful location right on the beach. Staff very friendly when you needed them, and gave us plenty of privacy.

Although staff was lovely and very helpful. I found the building it self very dated and old with rusting air conditioners , rust at the bottom of most struts holding the post along the breeze way.

OLder building but great location. Plenty of amenities included.....hot tub, pool, half .c. Tennis, bikes. Stairs to the unit, but necessary. Night shower the water not hot.

Old and very small rooms. There is a reno program but not in the unit we were in. Easy access to the beach past the Reno’s. Long walk to the village.

Property is under renovation and wasn’t told that until I had booked the stay. I couldn’t cancel the booking and get a refund. Place wasn’t as described on wotif. It is under construction from 8am to 5pm so couldn’t go back to the unit unless we wanted to listen to construction work. The stay was ok but very disappointed there is nothing in Wotif to say the accomodation is under construction.

Although right in the beach with access, property has aged.

Great views and convenient location. Rooms are a bit dated but the property is undergoing a renovation.

No dining table, and only one chair at a bench. Constant noise and couldn't walk to beach from unit. Car parks very small and difficult to get in. Spa very slippery.

This motel is very old. There are renovations currently underway is one section. The room was very clean but too small and basic. The hosts were very nice.

Great place. The property just needs some maintenance.

Sorry to many steps

The location of the property was fantastic and right on the beach! We stayed in a studio room complete with kitchenette. Couldn't fault the room or the service, the only negative to our trip was the beds and pillows. The bed was extremely hard and quite uncomfortable to sleep in. Other than the bed, couldn't fault the resort and its facilities.

Great location however very tired and in need of an update to the rooms and facilities.

There was no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes up also there was no toilets in the barbecue area or in the pool area you had to go back to your room
