This is a great hotel close to the airport with an airport shuttle starting at 5 AM. The staff is always friendly and kind. You will want to eat dinner somewhere else as there are no walkable restaurants but the metro is very close and walkable

We selected the hotel since it was one stop away from Dulles and only two blocks from the Metro station. The hotel is newer, generally clean, with a small pool, gym, and breakfast is included.
Before booking, we inquired if there were vegan products and true to their word, we found oatmeal, granola, bagels and bread, peanut butter and jams, coffee and oat milk and juices, and apples and bananas. The only criticism I had with our three night stay was that the staff in the kitchen were snippy two of the days when asking them to replenish the supplies. We headed into the tourist areas of DC everyday and while the Metro was close, it takes 50 minutes to reach center city which might be a deal breaker for future trips. However, as a gay vegan couple, the hotel offers a great deal with very professional staff, clean, reasonably priced for a great value, and LGBTQ friendly-just avoid the snippy kitchen staff.

Started from the check in,I had to wait about half hour to check in after driving 10 hours from canafa,and I was so tired, no hand soad in the room,I went down to get some,because whenbyou call front desk,yhe answer will be we don't have staff.
The breakfast so cheach,not too much varieties. We asked to clean up our room but they didn't.

A lovely convenient hotel to stay at before having to fly back home. The staff were lovely and the food is good and having the ability to leave luggage behind for a last bit of exploring was super helpful.

I have been to the Hyatt so many times and in so many countries. It is one of my favorite hotel chains because it’s clean, great service, and always great locations and that’s why I booked a room for my mom there. However, her experience was as far from what I experienced in the past with the staff. The receptionist made sure to welcome and give all information needed to the person ahead of her but when it was her turn she says the receptionist picked up the phone and started talking on the phone and instead of appropriately asking her to wait for him he started directing her with his hands. He also never gave her any information about breakfast or airport shuttle and just handed her the keys with no directions or information. I was surprised to know that someone that works at the Hyatt was so unprofessional.

Traveling alone, a restaurant/bar in house is important. You advertise one yet every time I tried to use it, it was closed.
The breakfast you advertise is embarrassing. Day old turkey sausage patties, a pot of diced cooked potatoes and sorry eggs is the hot breakfast. No half and half or cream for coffee. I prefer the Hyatt Place hotels where ever I travel. Nice new contemporary rooms. Clean and well maintained. Very convenient to Dulles airport. They have a free airport shuttle.

There was no bar soap at our sink and hotel said they ran out but manager had gone to another property to get some and they would bring it to us. But they never did. The next morning, they still didn’t have any bar soap.

The shuttle service was a mess. I waited more than 35 min, and when the driver arrive to pick me up he was upset and had a very bad attitude. Very disappointing after all the wait.

Standard double was a good-sized clean room with a comfortable sitting area.
According to our body clocks it was 4am so we turned off the extremely noisy air-con rather than ask for a room change but it was so bad we’d have complained if we’d had the energy.
Sound insulation seemed good - there was no noise from outside or other rooms.
One of the attractions for us was the free airport shuttle. The hotels instructions told us to phone on arrival which proved a nightmare with a UK phone. We finally just made our way to the meeting point to discover the van turns up around 20 mins past every hour (except midnight to 5am).
Breakfast was a disappointment - a couple of uninspiring cereals or rock solid porridge or soggy scrambled egg and dry burger. I know it’s complimentary but we’ve had much better at a similar price point.

Shuttle driver was helpful. He left at 11am and front office staff said I had to wait until 12 for the next shuttle, but he came back and took us about 11:30am which helped us make our flight less stressful.

Good hotel for airport. Shuttle upon request when you land, so make sure to call. On the hour shuttles back to the airport. Close to a metro station, 45 mins into downtown Washington and all the sights. Very large room, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Breakfast looked ok although we left too early to eat any.

The hotel is great and very convenient for the airport. My only recommendation is for a direct phone line when you're calling to arrange pick up from the airport as the current phone system makes this more difficult than necessary.

This hyatt is my go-to whenever I am in DC. The hotel is clean, safe and has kind staff at the front desk. No issues in checking in. However this time I was a little disappointed since my room's lock was not working from the inside, I did not change rooms since I was very tired and also knew no one can get in from outside. Secondly, I always enjoyed their complimentary breakfast more as compared to other hotels which is why it was always my preferred choice, however this time they lacked variety and my morning was ruined since I was looking forward to having the breakfast.

I was disappointed that reception did not answer my phone call (I tried 5 times) and could not get a shuttle from the airport and ended up paying 20$ for a taxi and had a very rude taxi driver. Breakfast was very limited with no gluten-free bread options and the breakfast area was a bit dirty. Other than that, I had a very spacious room and a comfortable bed.

We were diverted due to weather and quickly booked this hotel. It was a great price and offered breakfast. It was the right choice. We were greeted by Sam the super efficient and kindest Front desk attendant. He made us feel so welcome even though we had the longest and extremely difficult day. He made my daughter laugh and got us into a fantastic room along with Toothbrushes. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this hotel. Great breakfast too!

We stayed here one night after flight disruptions forced us to find a room. This Hyatt Place was a great price and included an airport shuttle with a friendly driver both ways.
Our only complaint with the room was that the furnishings are showing their age a bit - nothing unexpected for a high traffic airport hotel.
We also used the guest laundry to get ahead of the work once back home. The equipment was wonderful, but only one set of the two was functioning during our stay.

A very average place. We were there 3 nights. No housekeeping service unless you asked for it. We specifically booked a room with a sofa bed as there were 3 in our party. When we opened the sofa, it had not been mde up. No housrkeeping at 8 pm. Had to get sheets etc from front desk and do it ourselves.
