This a very nice hotel located off a very small and busy street in a great location. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. The rooms are small, but clean and quite sufficient. The daily breakfasts were substantial and quite delicious with a full coffee bar. The rooftop bar and the street are quite busy and loud until late at night. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel, but do yourself a favor and pack ear plugs.

King bed was comfortable but room was too small, as was the bathroom.

The property is located in the heart of Rome near amazing restaurants and several shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was small but it had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend Hotel Smeraldo!

Staff and location was great, wonderful bakery across the street. My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy outside.

Great location near Campo di Fiori and walkable to most of the sights. Breakfast service was wonderful. Rooms and lobby were small - but all we needed for our base in Rome.

Everything was perfect. Large room to fit three of us nicely, super helpful and friendly staff person who even escorted us to a wonderful restaurant we the best calamari and fish.

We stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and it has greatly improved. The dining area is no longer downstairs but on the ground floor and is nice and modern. A great variety of food to choose from for breakfast. The room has also been refurbished and was comfortable. Staff are very nice.

The location is great. Very clean room. Mostly friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Our only issue was the room temperature that never went below 77 degrees. When I asked about it at the front desk, the young man basically scolded me for touching the thermostat (something that I’ve done at every hotel I’ve ever stayed in). Since the room was damp and humid, all of our clothes were damp. I slept on top of the bedspread. We would not stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Property was well located in an area for us to easily walk to the sites we wanted to visit. Suite location and balcony was very nice but room was small with very little room for our luggage. my wife and I had to take turns moving around the room to stay out of each others way. Rooftop deck service lacked any kind of urgency. I would still stay here again.

Our stay at hotel smeraldo was awesome! The breakfast was amazing especially including pastries from the famous bakery across the alley. The rooftop bar is also a nice touch! Great stay in a great location!

We flew from Canada to Rome prior to our cruise. The hotel is so quaint but so elegant at the same time. Staff greeted us when we arrived and were extremely friendly. The rooftop terrace was lovely we went up that night and had some bruschetta and drinks. There was live music that evening which was nice. The pizza place across the street was so delicious and busy all the time so if you wa ted some pizza or baked goods it was perfect. lime scooters parked around so we scootered to Colosseum and Trevi fountain. We walked to Vatican and it took 25-30 min. So many restaurants around with patios to sit and enjoy. When we checked out they let us sit in The Air conditioning and charge up our phones in a quiet area near the lobby and the

From the moment we arrived and asked for an early check-in after a long flight the from seat was so accommodating. From getting us taxis to filling my my water bottle To opening a bottle of wine…they were exceptional. Comfy bed, great rooftop bar, small room but well appointed.
