Clean hotel in a good location near the Main Street in Bayeux. No elevator if on higher floors.

No wifi or any internet in the hotel - which in this day and age is sort of a deal breaker

The hotel was excellent; the restaurant was mediocre at best.

Excellent host and staff very accommodating. Great location to old Bayeux. Darn mosquito got into room but obviously not hotel fault otherwise lovely hotel and stay.

The hotel is gorgeous, with lots of history However, it wasn't made clear at booking that parking had to be reserved We were told that check-in was 2pm, but were unable to check-in until 3pm There were insufficient supplies in the bathroom

Excellent place to stay!

Lovely long weekend stay at this hotel. Great location in Bayeux to explore the town and also the D Day beaches and memorials in the area. It’s situated in a courtyard back from the street, so our room at the front was quiet and comfortable. We appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff were helpful and friendly. Great breakfast available (charged as an extra) which had a great selection of delicious options and set us up nicely for the day. It’s great to have parking on site, though there’s not a great deal of room to manoeuvre vehicles. We were lucky to have an empty space nearby every time we needed to move the car, but it could have proved quite tricky had the spaces been occupied. We thoroughly recommend this charming hotel and would actively seek to return on our next visit to this lovely area.

After we paid for the room through Expedia and arrived at the property, we were advised we could not park on the property grounds. We drove around for over an hour trying to find a place to park with no success. I went back and asked the front desk if they could assist us, they gave us a map of the area with streets that had free parking, streets we had been up and down numerous times already. Two hours later we found a place not close to the hotel where we had to pay to park and go back every couple hours. It appeared they were more concerned with private parties they were hosting than the guest paying to stay at the hotel. Twice we tried to get food from the restaurant and both times we were told they were closed for private parties as well. We also asked for a room with the view. They put us on the first floor facing the courtyard corner to the front door of the hotel. The catering van parked in front of our window, so not only could we not see anything but all night long all we heard was the catering van door open, closing and dishes in and out until late that night. The next night, all we heard were people outside our window, talking and smoking for hours. I guess they were attending the private party. We also had a problem getting our door locked, which they had admitted they had a problem with it the day before, but thought it was fixed so the one day we had to leave our room unsecured while they worked on it. We were very disappointed by the lack of accommodations.

The hotel was excellent and central to Bayeaux.

Charming, informative and just perfect

Excellent location. Friendly Staff and beautiful accommodations.

Wonderful comfortable room that fit me, my husband and my adult son. High end feel, great location, easy parking with reservation and warm welcome by staff. Only downside was dinner in hotel restaurant which was underwhelming in both service and food quality. However, if don't pay extra to eat there, stay was perfect.

I booked this hotel for my husband's Father & Sons trip together so that they could do a historical tour of the Normandy beaches. The hotel answered every question I asked in a prompt and considerate manner. Since I wasn't going to be there, it was assuring to know that my guys were in good hands and the hotel even offered to pick them up at the train station at 9:34 pm. Much appreciated after a long day of travel! One of his sons made the comment that the hotel was a nice, cozy place to stay--something he wouldn't typically say. Thank you for all your kindnesses.

The staff was outstanding and the hotel was lovely all the way around. They don’t have AC or an elevator but it was fine without.

A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Central to the main sites of Bayeux and a great base location for visiting the historic places of Normandy. Would highly recommend!

Excellent hotel in great setting

We had a lovely stay here, it was clean, very convenient- about a 10-15 min walk from the train station and right in the centre of town. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious!

Front desk wasn’t helpful. Parking situation is tight and unsafe. Need air conditioning

Awesome hotel to stay in. The service was great. If you want a fine dining night the hotel restaurant is very fancy. The hotel is located near many eating establishments if you want a cheaper option.

Wonderful small hotel with friendly service. Clean and modern rooms. Rooms are small and no elevator which is normal in Europe. Fifteen minute walk from the train station and situated on one of the main streets in Bayeux. Restaurants, tapestry museum and beautiful cathedral just a few blocks away. Convenient to DDay guided tours leaving from Bayeux. Buffet breakfast for a fee was tasty and convenient.

Very clean, very charming and peaceful!

Overall this is a very nice property and the staff were excellent. The only issue we had was that the restaurant is not open on Sunday or Monday, 2 of the 4 days of our stay. In fact next to nothing in town was open those days. I think the restaurant should be open these days. In addition, the bar was closed for 2 of the nights we were there as it was reserved by local clubs, 1 night the Rotary and someone else the other. So unable to get food or drink. Very inconvenient. The one night we ended up having to go to the local grocery store and get food there. May seem minor but still not great.

It is great overall. We were able to walk to all the landmarks and museums that were from 5 to 15 minutes away. I was driving and I found parking close to the hotel. The staff was great. Just be aware that there is no elevator, I was on the 2nd floor, but they helped us with the luggage. There are many restaurants around the hotel, a Carrefour, Coffee and Bakeries. D-Day beaches are from 15 to 30 minutes away.

The location was perfect to explore Bayeux, which is such a picture perfect town. Our room was spacious (separate entrance from the main hotel as a room for family of 3). It was very clean and comfortable for a short stay. We opted out of the breakfast and just walked a few steps to the local bakery.

A lovely spot in the heart of the village. Easy to walk everywhere as well as easy parking at the hotel. Plus easy and convenient to visit the DDay beaches. A short car ride away. Maybe 15 minutes. Room was large with a brand new bathroom.

We arrived late and they rushed around to get us seated for a late dinner and brought our bags to the room for us. We ate a great dinner in a very busy restaurant. It appeared to be a place the locals enjoy as well. Very nice place for us and everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

This was a terrific, quaint, comfortable hotel for our stay in Bayeux. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, plenty of room to open suitcases and hang things up. The dining area was well appointed, and there was a great room where you could sit and socialize. Very close to all the wonders of the city. Had a very warm and welcoming feel and a charming entrance.

Lovely hotel in centre of Town. On site parking with EV charging. Also in walking distance of Bayeux tapestry. Well worth a visit.

The staff was very accommodating. Everything from room selection to cabs to check in was very well done. The buffet was very good. The restaurant is a gourmet experience and you will not get comfort fare.

We stayed two nights during our trip to the Normandy region. The hotel is a solid middle-of-the-road property, not a luxury experience to level set. The staff were super helpful during our stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in Normandy. The town of Bayeux is also adorable, and this hotel is in the perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops in town.
