Nice apartment in a quiet area with parking outside. 15 minutes walk to the cathedral. Big supermarket nearby. Kitchen had adequate equipment but you had to pay €5 a night to use it. There was no plug for the sink and we had to buy a sponge/scourer and tea towel. We had a 3 night stay.

20 minute walk to most Leon sights. Kitchen lacked some needed utensils. Paid for underground parking unnecessarily. Above ground free parking was available.

Two night stay in Leon heading North. Chose this hotel due to location and that we could park our rental car. Great hotel, checkin easy and fast and staff even with limited English gave us lots of info, especially about the free tapas with every drink at cafes and bars. The old town was a 15 min walk slowly and great to see and easy to get to from hotel. Across the road was a large supermarket and Aldi not far away as well. The room was large and I expect the dorms for the uni students in the past. It was contained with a kitchenette so had microwave and sink and small stove top, and fridge it had limited untensils. It would be great if they could have supplied coffee cups, we had our own travel ones, but did have to boil water in a very and only large saucepan. Wifi worked well. Clean room and breakfast buffet was 7€ but we did not participate. Car was in safe location at the front. Overall a good place to stay and would def come again to fantastic town of Leon if travelling this way.

The property is within a short walk of the city centre (ca. 15 minutes). Service is fantastic from check in to check out and the rooms are very well appointed. Particularly impressed with the cleanliness and the size of the family rooms. If I go back to León, I’ll stay there!

It takes about 20min to walk (flat ground) into the old city, there are buses, we just didn't explore that option. There is plenty of free parking. The studio apartment was a good size, except we felt the bed was a little too firm and they needed more utensils/ cutlery, some glasses and plates, as well as a toaster in the small kitchen. The fact that nothing matched and the lids didn't fit the saucepans was a little second rate. The receptionist told us we should have asked (we did for the toaster...there wasn't one), but really this is how the apartment should be left ready for the next guest! We made do with what we had! The area was quiet and felt safe. There are several cafes, a panaderia and restaurant close by. There is also a big supermercado in short walking distance. We had a view of the Cantabrian Mountains in the distance and enjoyed our stay there.

Room was spacious and quiet. Sparsely furnished and no tea making facilities. However location great and parking available underneath building. Handy walk to all the important tourist sites with restuarants and bars nearby.

Good hotel, pleasant staff and a good continental breakfast offered. However, make sure you're not too late as the selections offered are not replaced as the clock ticks towards last orders.... It's a good easy ten-minute walk into the old town but there are plenty of tapas bars on the way should a break be needed. Good hotel and would stay again. Helios

It was good staying here, the rooms were clean, and the hotel is walking distance from Santa Domingo which holds some must see architecture.

Had a stopover here while walking the Camino de Santiago...the front desk receptionist, Melisa, couldn't have been more pleasant, helpful and charming. Her English was spot on and she always was accommodating. The hotel is in the university area, but a quick walk to the center of town.

Staff not helpful . They will tell you one thing and do another one . Dishonest manager.
Breakfast was the only good thing, and breakfast staff very attentive.
Being close to the hospital it offers a convenient stay for people with sick family members, but they do not show any compassion about it

Clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Location was a bit of a walk from the center but the hotel was good that the distance was not a big problem.

Friendly hotel well located for an easy walk into the old centre of Leon. There are also lots of local cafes and restautrants very nearby. We used the secure parking for a small additional charge and access was easy. Don't forget to ask for an internet password for each piece of equipment you want to use - access is free.

Would recommend, really clean, big, 15 minutes walk from old town, supermarket within 5 mins walk, free street parking, 6euro onsite garage, fridge/freezer, 2 hobs. Only one soft chair in room plus 2 wood chairs - I dragged an easychair in from corridor. Site says checkin before 6pm but their reception was open at 8pm. Would stay again. They don't answer emails.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. The staff was very nice and caring, the room also was very nice and comfortable. Because our stay was just for one night with didn’t used the kitchen, instead we went to the restaurant for breakfast which wasn’t so expensive and was varied.

Hotel is an easy 10/15 minute stroll into the old town, straight down the street virtually no turns.. There is a large supermarket within 100mts. Staff very helpful and buffet breakfast was quiet good. Rooms large and had kitchenette, anc fridge.Crockery etc is available from reception for 7 euro for whole of visit. If had a family would save a good bit of money cooking..Easy access to find and easy to get back onto main roads. Parking is free outside front door and off the street..

Nice room. It has a kitchen included. And there's a supermarket nearby which is nice. We saved money by staying in and cooking. Not a far walk to one of the cathedrals or bars/restaurants. Also a very cool video store nearby. Ill stay here again if I'm ever in Leon again!

We had a great experience at Campus San Mames. The room was clean and functional and the staff was as friendly as any hotel staff I have ever encountered. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone staying in Leon.

The staff was very nice and the hotel very clean! It was bed bug free which is a huge plus in my book! Its in a nice part of town near a big grocery store and the center of town is easily accessible. Nice kitchen and plates/pots/pans/silverware are already in the room. Only negative was that breakfast was not included and I was not aware and it charged 16 Euro to my room for 2 breakfasts. Other then that, a great time with a great view of the mountains.

We left the car at the hotel and took the city bus in to town. It was very convenient and inexpensive.

Hotel Campus San Mames is a comfortable and secure three star hotel with a good breakfast and a public computer that works, also free. This is where Im staying on future trips to Leon.
